Laptop 15: unable to update windows 8.1 store
Good evening
Help nicely with your advice regarding upgrading my windows 8 for windows 8.1 that whenever I try to update to store I get the following "" you can run an edition of Windows 8, which does not support the update of the store " "
Looking forward to your comments.
I see that your computer is originally shipped with FreeDOS. You haven't installed Windows 8 in there and where did you get Windows 8 of.
If you installed the Enterprise version or used a KMS (Volume license key), then you will not be able to upgrade to Win 8.1

Update Windows and Dell coming 8 Pro windows store questions
Hello
I recently bought a Dell coming 8 Pro 32 GB tablet. Everything is working fine without any problems, but then just the other day I couldn't access is no longer the windows store. It is just stuck to the green at the loading screen and never changes. I tried wsrest.exe, but that did nothing. In addition, and I don't know if they are related, I read that windows store problems can come from need to install windows updates. So I tried to open the Windows updates, but I can't access any option, whenever I click on something it just freezes. So I don't know what is happening! If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
Hello, I too have had the same problem but have managed to solve. I went in desktop and accessed the control panel. Click system and security, then under windows update click on ' check for updates '. Once done, it should tell you that you have updated and click on install. Let it do its thing and when it asks to restart so and once rebooted, and all updates installed the windows store should work again that how I got mine will once again. It will be useful.

Windows Store apps download / update apps stuck in State waiting
Original title: windows store 8 can be walked, but can not download applications
Everything is great, until you are in store for the app that you want to download, but as soon as you select an application and click on install, the installation screen appears with the activity report of the applications queued for installation (in the waiting/download) and that's it. I can't download a single app, not even a simple pacman after waiting for 20 minutes. most of the time that the status is stuck on "pending", when the application starts downloading, it just gets stuck after that a little Chuck is downloaded.
My internet connection is working perfectly, all pre-installed applications work fine, but I could not update or install applications.I recently bought a new laptop from windows 8, not upgraded to windows 7 (read some discussions and answers where store does not open in this case.)Help, please.I found this on another thread on the same topic. It's the same solution Pinaki is suggesting, but using the prompt instead of the graphical interface of Windows. It worked for me. Post here where everyone thinks that they are useful.
- Open an administrative command prompt (go to the start screen, type 'cmd', right-click on command prompt and press "Run as Administrator")
- Type the following commands to four in the command prompt:
- net stop wuauserv
CD %SystemRoot%\System32
Ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
net start wuauserv - Try to install updates again.

Unable to connect to the Windows store to download the Windows 8.1 update
I am trying to download the Windows Installer on Windows 8 8.1 update. The Windows store, I click on "Get the free update". Then I get a screen saying "your PC is not connected to the internet. Hello
It looks like the problem just from Store and ' not your internet connection or adapter. You should try to reset your Windows store.I know that is not your internet problem, but disabling and re-enabling your computer WiFi is worth giving a try. In addition, you can restart your wifi modem, it might be useful. To reset your Windows store:- Open Start, and then type wsreset.
- This will reset your store.
- Now open your store. You will see the shop saying 'Windows Store a reset' or something like that.
- You have successfully reset your Windows store.
Go home, try to restart your windows 8.1 update. Please mark this question as answer if it helps.Kind regardsammarisrar28 -

Windows store does not download the app updates
I can't get the APP store to work and I'm also not able to get my PC to download the updates that it must, it's been 2 months that updates have been downloaded. And why have we not physically go to settings to get the downloads? Should not the PC do what he's done before and just automatically download? I have my computer set up to do and it still don't do it at all. I am also thinking maybe someday a MAC book.
