  I see that your computer is originally shipped with FreeDOS.  You haven't installed Windows 8 in there and where did you get Windows 8 of.

  Hello, I too have had the same problem but have managed to solve. I went in desktop and accessed the control panel. Click system and security, then under windows update click on ' check for updates '. Once done, it should tell you that you have updated and click on install.   If everything has been removed from the computer and a Windows.old folder is created, then it is probably a Custom Installation or the reset which took place in the computer. But anyway, let's verify the present question in the computer.

  You should try to reset your Windows store.

  I can't get the APP store to work and I'm also not able to get my PC to download the updates that it must, it's been 2 months that updates have been downloaded. And why have we not physically go to settings to get the downloads? Should not the PC do what he's done before and just automatically download?
