  When installing R12.2 mode of upgrading and internationalization article, if we need to select all 14 languages or only English American and on the post upgrade allply nls patches for all languages. ?

  I'm in the process of upgrading 11.5.9 (DB 9.2.0.4) to 12.1.1 (DB 10.2.0.5).
  
  As part of the upgrade steps in the document entitled * "Oracle® E-Business Suite Upgrade Guide Release 11i to 12.1.1 Ref. / E16342-04 / August 2010" *, I was directed to apply the last product rivierra. Chapter 3, article 5.
  
  I downloaded the latest version of the Oracle patchsets.sh and it ran with the following parameters:
  
  patchsets.sh connect = apps / < apps_password > available = metalink
  
  This tool has generated a bunch of reports including one called "Report.txt" and "Report_R12.txt".
  
  Many of these patches should I download and ask to be able to continue the update?

  For both, please mention the name of patch and number.

  Depends, you can find some of the patchsets included in family packs and in this case, you do not have to apply it-when you find the number of patch via MOS, it must list all patches which include this fix.

  How can I make sure that the upgrade patch driver moves all assets financial, data etc. in all periods, "not only the last 6 periods", 11i upgrade to 12.1.1? Our database is quite small, so it will not take much time to upgrade.

  I have a Qosmio G50 - 12I which seems that Toshiba HD processor is not included in this model.
  I can update this model with the quad core processor and also can I connect a second HDD?

  Seem to be the processor quad core HD from Toshiba is not a part of this model of laptop and I doubt you could improve it with this extra processor. I think the motherboard is different and does not allow these updates.

• How to upgrade vCAC VM BuildingMachine workflow name

  I have a custom workflow to name my VM and I can shoot everything correctly and get the VM name to generate throughout the workflow BuildingMachine heel, but my question at this point is updated the vCAC VM to the new name.  Can someone point me in the right direction on this?

  I'm going to make it easier... just cobbled together a fast workflow... I don't have the chance to Q / A know if it works correctly, but I'm 99% sure it should work as announced.

  I've updated Oracle 11.5.9 to 12.1.1 with 10204 database but the workflow is not still upgraded. It is still on version 2.6.0
  
  What I need to improve the workflow separately? This patch I have to apply?
  If I have to install workflow companion CD, then Oracle EBS doesnot have OWF_MGR user, so how do I proceed?

• Strange behavior, adding a host via a workflow

  It seems therefore that since the 4.2.1 upgrade one of my workflow that adds that a crowd of vCenter seems to be failing.  It says: unable to connect to the specified host.  It's very strange because I can't add the host manually but not by the workflow.  Someone at - it similar problems?

  check the port number, you try to connect: it must be 443, 902 as shown in the description field (years)...

• Stages of R12 Preupgrade on Source 11i

  I am in the process of preparing a plan for R12 upgrade and course work to prepare the pre acitivities upgrade 11i system. I gathered all the patches and the steps in the 121upgrade guide that all have been ignored in the report of Tums.

  Source - 10.2.0.4 DB, 11.5.10.2 Application

  Client gave Patch 5760729 to apply as part of pre-upgrade, but it is not listed in the guide of 121upgrade and according to the file read me this patch it says more, when I check, I don't see 11i. PJ_PF. J in source 11i.

  3 patch Applicable for versions and releases:

  11i. PJ_PF. J or Point version 11.5.8

  Please let me know if this patch applies to my current upgrade process

  We head to12.1.1--> then12.1.3. So, I think we can ignore this patch.

  According to read me, is that this patch doesn't work.

  -is it possible to configure the ebs (levels of db and apps) using RAC (only available to 2 nodes, each node must hold levels db and apps?)
  -What is the required minimum nodes if I deploy on my ebs environment rac?

  the current environment of EBS is IBM AIX 64 single node installation.
  the new topology must include 2 nodes with IBM AIX 64 > holding the DB as RAC level
  and the application layer should be migrated to Linux 64.

  In this case, you do not need to migrate the database and you just need to use a different OS for application-level nodes.

  1 - upgrade 9.2.6 to 9.2.8 DB layer
  9.2.8 to 11.2.0.3 DB layer 2 - upgrade

  Once you upgrade 11i to 11.2.0.3 data base, lay the R12 software on new Linux machines and complete the 12.1.1 upgrade. Then upgrade to 12.1.3 release. Once you are finished with the upgrade of the application migrate the database of unique to the RAC node.

  You must use both the - MOS Doc 798258.1 has essentially updates the upgrade process R12.1.1 - read through the Doc and select the sections marked for upgrade - it will refer you to the sections in the "R12.1.1 guide upgrade 11i" as needed.

  While you upgrade, it is recommended to apply the maintenance R12.1.3 pack immediately after the R12.1.1 upgrade.

  There is no MOS Doc that will give you a timing for your upgrade, as the timing will depend on the amount of data you have, what modules you use and the capacity of your hardware resources. The only way to determine the time is to upgrade test on hardware to test identical to your production equipment.
