Upgrade gpu on motherboard Angelica 2 problems

Model: HP-h8-1414

OS: Windows 8

GPU: gtx 640 or 660

Hello. I recently purchased this machine and upgraded to a 750w PSU and bought a 640 GPU gtx to upgrade. I also have a gtx 660. Whenever I try to install one of these cards, the machine starts booting and then stops, power light flashes yellow and I heard 6 beeps. The reinstallation of the 640 several dozen times, I finally got to start, but without any screen until Windows 8 logo appears. Two nights ago, I tried to install the 660 and could never go beyond the sound stage. Now, I can't even the 640 to start. Sounds right. Anything other than sound signals. Any advice?

What brand is the gtx, 640 and 660 GTX?

Try going to the manufacturer's web support to see if they have a VBIOS update for your video card that allows Windows 8 support.

The problem you see is likely to be linked to the new secure boot environment. A member of HP's Expert said that EVGA VBIOS updates available on request.

Can my aspire am3470-uc30p upgrade gpu?

Oh, ok. You asked if the gpu could be improved, not the cpu. Thank you for pointing this out. Of the record, this has an A8-3800 AMD inside. I don't think this can be improved more. I see that other models with processor A6, but the highest I see here is the A8 processor that you already have. The motherboard is usually designed for certain processors and it seems that it is the highest it can go. I hope this helps.

  • GPU or motherboard is dead? Inspiron 1564

    Hello

I came back to my pc, after being on sleep mode for about 30 minutes, after a few minutes, I noticed a few screen problems, flicks to black and then a sort of recovery message appears with text something like "your GPU recovered from an unexpected error. This happened once or twice more in a few minutes. Then I rebooted the computer, but after that it was the same thing. After restart of second time screen started flickering with different color lines, these lines covered entire screen.

Now when I try to turn on the pc screen just stays black, it turns. But everything else seems to work, fan, CD-ROM and CPU, judging from the sounds are ok.

I even got a VGA monitor plugged into my laptop, it shows that these same colored lines.

What can this be, GPU or motherboard? I had screen, HARD drive, keyboard, I think the motherboard changed too on this laptop. It seems to break every once in awhile. The GPU is Ati Mobility Radeon 5450.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Hope I explained it's understandable.

On this model, the GPU is part of the motherboard, so there is no distinction - when two breaks down, the motherboard should be replaced.

is it possible to upgrade gpu (I have radeon hd 6490 m) in hp probook 4730 s?

    Hello:

The graphics may not be upgraded in your PC.

The only possible change that could be done is if your GPU has 512 MB dedicated memory, you can swap the mother together with one with the same GPU, but should be 1 GB dedicated memory.

    Hardly worth it, IMO.

    Problems of Windows 8 pilots.

I just installed Windows 8 preview of developer on a virtual machine, I have an ASUS M4A88TD-M/USB3 motherboard. The problem is that I can't find any windows 8 compatible LAN drivers for it. All solutions?

Given that Windows 8 has not been released yet not all drivers will work with him. Some drivers are very precise on the version of operating system, you may need to wait until they release the pilots of Windows 8 (if they make it to your model).

If the drivers do not install, try their installation in compatibility mode.

    Troubleshoot Compatibility

This can help with some (but not all the) programs/drivers:
    (1) uninstall the program, if it is already installed. Then when install you / reinstall instead of double click on the Setup file, right click and select 'resolve compatibility issues.
    (2) then click on 'Try recommended settings' and in the next window, click on "Start the Program" to install it.
    (3) after he set up see if it works properly. Note: some programs are perhaps not able to run in Windows 8.

Nope dosent dell make upgrades of systems, you must buy a second card, radiator and fan, also make sure you have 330 watt power supply, or that will be necessary.

Yyou can demonstrate the machine very easily and dell has disassembly guides, its atall isn't difficult but just follow the news, it requires almost total destruction, I just did not long ago with my video for changing instructions of defective cards cards are very good and easy to follow, or may be someone who has to the computer shop do the same , following the same manual lol...

  • Satellite Pro 4600: Question about upgrade RAM, CPU, motherboard

    Hello

I have a SP4600 and because I love this machine, I want to give him the chance to stay with me - but unfortunately, it will only work by increasing its performance...

Is anyone here has made some experiences in upgrading a SP4600 more than 512 MB of RAM?
I know that this machine uses PC100 SD - RAM that is available up to 256 MB.
But someone has tried successfully to put in PC133 memory? And if so, to were the limit?

And more: what about the upgrade of the rest, for example, the CPU or the whole motherboard?
Currently, his heart beats with 700 Mhz (Celeron). Would it be as easy as just another graft?
Or would it be easier to exchange the whole motherboard?
I've never done anything like this before and I'm not sure how the rest of the system can react on these interventions, in particular because the we-board-video and sound on board...

I would be delighted if someone could give me some positive feedback on these issues...

    Hello

You can only use the memory 100 Mhz modules because the FSB is limited to 100 MHz.
If you use 133 Mhz modules, they will work only at 100 Mhz.

You can upgrade the satellite Pro 4600 until 512 MB (2x256MB)

  • Pavilion p6 - 2307: upgraded GPU in Pavilion p6 - 2307a

Hi, I am interested in the upgrade of the NVIDIA GeForce 620 of GT, which comes with the Pavilion p6 - 2307. I have run Windows 64-bit 10. The specifications of my desktop (to support people no HP) can be found here:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03604360

I would get an EVGA NVIDIA GTX 1060 / 3GB, however I heard that others were unable to update their graphics in the pavilions maps, because they "locked," such as HP will not allow you to change the graphics card by default. Is this true for my office? If so, would be fixed by getting a new motherboard?

Even if I can use this GPU, there is a very close capacitor of the PCI express x 16 slot, just above it, which I think could get in the way. Maybe I could use a PCI express x 16 extender, however I do not know how the GPU would be actually physically supported, so I don't think this is a long-term solution. If I replace my motherboard, I then need to reinstall Windows? And I have to buy a new copy? My existing copy of Windows or how some would be transferred to my new motherboard?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks, Lachlan.

The BIOS of your desktop PC is not locked.

The EVGA graphics card is too large. It is 10.5 inches long and your motherboard is 9.6 "wide.  It is unlikely to hold in the case of the PC.

  • Upgradable GPU? Graphics for the next models?

    Hello!

I think to buy a satellite M40 that precisely fits my budget. The only problem is the X 300 128 MB graphics card which is in fact the slowest in ATI series x is there a possibility or the possibility of an update of the graphics card or through society, either with an authorized service provider? I know that there is the X 600 in some models that would be a good change from the X 300. The X 300 and X 600 will be available/expandable so that they can be changed? (I know that sounds a little crazy, but some other laptop producers are already doing something similar. But I will not buy another laptop...)

My second question is about the GPU by Toshiba next models that are coming in the next few months. Does anyone know if Toshiba will keep the X 300 on their models, or if they use a card more strong as the X 600, X 700, or even X 800? I prefer wait a month or so to buy something that I regret buying after a few months.

Thanks in advance for your help,

    Hello Antonakis

Sorry, but the replacement of the graphic card or same CPU is not possible because the graphics card is fixed on the main map. You can upgrade just RAM or HARD drive.

One of my friends has the same unit. It's a beautiful machine with display fabulous and beautiful design. If you buy, be careful because tools & utilities CD is not available, and you can create alone. To create your own start the Toshiba Assist and go to Protect & Fix.

Sorry but I found no information on some future project and new hardware components that can be used in new models of laptops.

    Good luck!

  • Upgrade GPU on Satellite P200-13N

    Hello everyone

I just got a caled "new" machine Toshiba Satellite P200 13-N with the following specifications:

    Windows Vista Edition home premium
    2 GB Ram 667 MHZ
Processor Intel core 2 duo 1.73 ghz
NVIDIA Geforce 7600 go with 578 MB of ram

Now I just read the info that he comes out of the new nvidia Geforce 8700 GT graphics card. Can I put my card graphic to the GPU or not because it's a PciE card

    Thanks for any advice :)

No, certainly not possible. The graphics chip is more often soldered to the motherboard and it of not possible to delete or replace it!
Especially the whole motherboard must be replaced!

You should know that the CPU or GPU upgrades or replacements are virtually impossible on laptops!
Therefore, I use my desktop PC for games because it is very easy to upgrade the hardware. And I only use my laptop for my work!

  • Pavilion internet lost HP while being connected to the software upgrade usb3 and motherboard

My desktop HPE H8 computer - 1280t lost Internet using USB3 and vice versa.  If I disconnect the external drives connected to the USB3 ports then I have Internet back.  If I connect external drives to USB3 ports, then I won't have Internet.

What is the latest version of the upgrade of the software of the motherboard of desktop HPE H8 - 1280t and how I get it.

The computer in question is running on Windows OS 8.1 for several months and no other software added recently.

Problem has been resolved.  Because of several power is needed for 3.0 external drives to work, I replaced the power supply HP 400 watts with a power of 750 Watts.  Now, I have all external hard drives of 3.0 and Internet works perfectly.

  • Acer Aspire T3-710 upgraded gpu

    Hi all

I recently bought the computer desktop Acer Aspire T3 - 710 (form below), however, I need to update the graphics card and it seems that there is enough space to fit this card Nvidia GTX 750 ti. The current map graphic is a Nvidia gtx 745 (OEM) (Plug here). This current card is a single location that I want is double slot (there are 4 unique locations on the back plate) it seems pretty great, but I'm not sure.

Anyone has any advice on the upgrade of this card? Or better yet the GPU, which fit the T3-710? My current diet is only 220w so I know I need to upgrade it too, but I don't want to until I have a graphics card I know will fit.

    My current desktop features;

    10 64-bit Windows Home

    Intel Core i7 @ 3.40 GHz Skylake 14nm 6700

    16 GB of Dual-Channel DDR3 RAM

Card mother Acer Aspire T3-710 (U3E1)

4 GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 745

3 TB drive HARD 5400 RPM

    220w PSU

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi neewu

I also recently bought this pc and immediately updated to a unit of evga 600w power supply to install a decent gpu. As it is the best gpu you could go with this prebuilt is a 750ti. The issue is not only with the PSU, but the length of the card itself. There is only 1 PCI slot on the motherboard and there are connections of power directly behind the video card apparently preventing one more card of 6.5 inches or more should be installed. From what I understand, it would be useful to upgrade the power supply that I have and go for a GTX 960 mini or mini 970. If someone has updated the gpu on this pc that I would also be interested to know what suits. I ordered a mini 970 and will display the results when it arrives
