Upgrade Pro 8.1 to 8.1

I have a new computer with 8.1 pre installed. I have a used (and legal) Windows 8 Pro with key and Disc Media Manager. What is the best way to upgrade?

Press the Windows key + X

Click System

On Windows, click the link:

Get more features with a new edition of Windows

Click on the "I already have a product key link.

Enter your product key and you will be promoted to the Pro.

It is important that new drive is 8.0 8.1 not

No, the product key just determines the SKU. So it will improve your Windows Pro 8.1 to 8.1 Windows

As the owner of the latest Mac Pro, I'm looking into buying one of the old Pro models for the update. In particular, the model 2009. What I want to know is I am able to upgrade the processor with all the same socket?

I'm looking at one is double a processor with two cores quad but I noticed that I can get a couple 6 hearts and I want to share.

In addition, would have problems with jump in a recent quadro card?

And for someone who has updated an older, are there pitfalls that I should look out for?

    Thank you

The 2009 and later a CPU and RAM slots began backplane and moved to a 'plateau' at the bottom of the sliding chassis. There are two cards of the 'plateau' different processor - one with chip socket a processor, one with two Sockets. Map of all plate can be replaced by another, but both cards connectors are always in demand and therefore expensive.

You can replace the processor chip, but you must be very attentive to full coverage vs without eyelids and get the correct physical processor. In addition, parts for dual sockets are not the same party as the mono-socket part.

  • Satellite Pro C50-A-1E6: Windows 7 Pro for Windows 8.1 Upgrade Pro

    Hello

My laptop came with pre-installed Windows 7 Pro and also accompanies the disks to upgrade to Windows Pro 8.1, when I restart the laptop the optical drive with the disk Windows Pro 8.1 in there doesn't seem to be options for the upgrade of Windows, it's rather just the generic tools for backup/recovery of the laptop and install Windows 8.1 Pro is not mentioned anywhere.

Am I missing something? I have to format the laptop in order so that it can resume the process of Windows 8.1?

The laptop seems to be picking up the drive Windows Pro 8.1 because the interface is similar to that of Windows 8 (when the choice of region/keyboard) but as I said than just default to repair the existing installation without any option to upgrade.

    See you soon,.

    > Am I missing something? I have to format the laptop in order so that it can resume the process of Windows 8.1?

You have VICTORY 8.1 PRO 64-BIT DVD disc.
I think that is NOT an upgrade disk, but using this installation disc, the system (Win 8.1) will be installed on the HARD drive and this procedure could get rid of Win 7

So before you try to install Win 8.1 I recommend creating Toshiba recovery media as described in the user manual. Read it!

After the middle of the recovery (disk or UBS flash stick) has been created, you could boot from the 8.1 WIN 64 bit PRO DVD to start the installation!

  • Where to find the correct SHA1 checksum for the upgrade Pro Windows 8 ISO?

I ordered the Windows 8 Pro upgrade online.  (not a preview but the new product on 26/10/12).  I downloaded and burned the ISO of the English version of the Windows 8 ISO file.  I'm assuming that 64-bit. This took place without incident.  I started the upgrade on a PC running Windows 7 SP1 64-bit, but it failed during the installation phase of Windows 8 to 72% with the error "installing Windows 8 failed".

So I restarted the upgrade and it has not exactly in the same place (72%) and the same cryptic error.
So I contacted the Microsoft Store and they helped me to go through the process of downloading a 2nd time.  The 2nd ISO file was exactly the same size, BUT it had a different SHA1 checksum!
Then I tried the upgrade using the new DVD burned in the 2nd ISO file and it failed at exactly at the same stage of the upgrade (72%).
So I got two corrupt downloads / Burns?   I have no way to tell because all I know is that they have different amounts of control.
Maybe they all are both wrong, or maybe the question is something else entirely.
But first things first.   How can I determine if my ISO file is correct?
What is the checksum SHA1 of a non-corrupt ISO file?    Where to find the information online?

I have the same problem with my 64-bit windows English version.

I created a bootable DVD from iso and started to install a clean install by formatting the hard drive.
Installation will be stuck at 17% and it happened to me like 3 times and I burned a fresh DVD and always the same question.
It's like the worst level ever... Is there a way I can download an iso of 64-bit bootable DVD and use it to upgrade?

  • Upgrading Pro 6 Prem Prem elements... which?

    Hello everyone.

I worked on Prem Pro (version 6.0 or 6.5) for years but I just updated to Windows 7 and I know that this software is too old to run it on Windows 7. I was wondering if anyone knows what is the software Prem elements nearest you to Prem pro 6.0 / 6.5 which works on Windows 7?

    Thank you very much!!!

You don't have the "full" version of which has been completely rewritten in Pr 7.0/PrPro 1.0. There is still some confusion about what has been Pr 70/PrPro 1.0. It seems that the program was released as Pr (not PRO) took the new name of Premiere Pro 7.0 for OEM and commercial product facilities and was 1.0. To compound these issues, there is a small version of a program called Premiere Pro 7.0, and I saw pictures of the box and CD case with the same name, although hardly anyone at Adobe knows all the details of this. I guess that Pr 7.0, 7.0 PrPro PrPro 1.0, are all pretty much the same program and was a total rewrite of the code Pr 6.5.

Now, PrElements is increased from 4.0 to 7.0 PrE pre, with no 5.0 or 6.0, to get the version numbers to match the program often complementary, Photoshop Elements, who had jumped in front of the Meadow by a couple of numbers.

Your question, 3.0 PrE long gone was probably the closest in appearance to your Pr 6.0. With pre 4.0, the interface introduced a radical change for a "cleaner and more elegant" look, but one I found difficult to grasp, as I was used to the PrPro, up to 2.0. After several years, I still have to hunt around pre to find things that come so naturally to PrPro.

You'll watch pre 9.0, as has been said, and it has more power compared to previous versions. However, the interface is much easier, than Pr/PrPro. This will take some getting used to. In addition, functions, such as export, have been displaced and some of the words/names have changed. Although one might be an "old hand" at work NLES from Adobe, I strongly suggest picking up a copy of the book of Steve Grisetti on PrE 9. Who's going to flatten the curve greatly. Most of the General operations remained, but now look quite different, and some of the familiar operations have been displaced and often renowned.

If you love Pr 6.0, do not plan to do HD work, especially with material from a DSLR or AVCHD, then John T. has a suggestion which should get Pr 6.0 runs on your new operating system. Two other options are to upgrade to CS5 PrPro (think it is US$ 299 from the Adobe Store, Pr 6.0 upgrade), or PrE 9, the current version. Between you and me, I would opt for CS5, even at more than 2 x the price, but that's just me, I really like the interface and the additional power of PrPro.

    Good luck

  • Windows 8.1 upgrade Pro

    Hello, I wonder if you can help me please;

I have a customer who bought a Windows computer with installed Pro 8.1.

Does anyone know if there is a way where I can improve the installation of 8.1 to 8.1 pro without losing any of my clients files, data, settings, installed software etc.

I know there is a Pro pack which will do, but that the customer has already earn 8.1 Pro CD key valid I prefer to use those...

    Thank you!

In Control Panel, click "Add features to Windows 8.1" and one of the options must be insert a product instead of a purchase key.

  • Pro CC2015.3 impossible to save preferences

Since the higher upgrade Pro 2015.3 I can't save preferences. By clicking on the OK button just remains blue and that I have to cancel out. The changes are NOT saved?

    Tony

I found a fix on my system, a file permissions issue. While in the hold of the Finder OPTION and click the menu go to the library (takes you to the folder of the user of the library, then go to Preferences > Adobe > Premiere Pro > 10.0) Make sure that the Adobe Premiere Pro and 10.0 files have read/write permissions at all levels (System, wheel and all) by selecting each folder, click on command I. Once I did, first wrote in the Preferences folder. A clue is that my 10.0 file was completely empty, and he should have the files written by Premiere Pro, if it were to write to this folder. I hope this helps you

There is also a workaround for wks 12.1:

edit /usr/bin/vmware and put in the following line somewhere near the top close to the existing export statements:
    "export LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/vmware/lib/libglibmm-2.4.so.1/libglibmm-2.4.so.1".

In this place, Workstation GUI starts, even though she always spits error messages (or warning) in the console:

  • can a physical win 8 pro machine run a virtual win 7pro and winserver2008r2?

I am trying to run virtual player on your laptop win 8, install the os but when I try to power up the virtual machine I get the message "binary translation is incompatible with the long mode on this platform. Long mode will be disabled in this virtual environment. Applications that require a long mode does not work properly as a result"it passes control to 64-bit compatibility, but then the machine does not start say Intel VT - x can be disabled, I looked on the MS site and they suggest to activate the Hyper-V technology as a feature of windows but is not available for me because I am more likely does not not the pro version of win8.1 , My question is: the upgrade to win8.1pro will allow me to run Win7pro and/or winserver'08r2 VM on my laptop win 8? I want to keep trying to dual boot this machine that I heard that many problems can occur, but I don't want to pay $100.00 for the upgrade pro if it does not allow me to run VMS on it, any help?

You probably just turn on VT - x in the system BIOS.  See troubleshooting problems of Intel VT - x.

  • Acrobat 6.0 Pro

    I have Adobe Acrobat 6.0

Can I install it on my new computer?

I have to upgrade to Pro XI?  XI Standard fact that mean Pro 6.0?

Can I change the pagination with XI Standard?

How much is the upgrade to Pro XI?

Thanks, that's the key. Acrobat 6 does not work on this system.

So, back to your original question.

Can I install it on my new computer?

    -Is not worth trying.

I have to upgrade to Pro XI?  XI Standard fact that mean Pro 6.0?

-You can buy, either. He remains Pro functions which are only in Pro, but Standard is certainly more.

Can I change the pagination with XI Standard?

-Thanks for explaining what you mean rearrange the order of the pages and add pages from other PDFs. Yes, you can do it with the standard.

How much is the upgrade to Pro XI?

-There is no upgrade of such an old version (and no upgrade Pro standard if you want one). You would simply buy again. The Pro subscriptions are available (not Standard, I think).
