  We use 12.1.3. On some machines when you connect to the system and change the languages in the preferences/homepage /, then log out > log in the back - changes was not applied successfully / old settings are back... Any ideas?

  Can you tell us what operating system you are using?  I think the permission issues are mainly with OSX systems, but it is covered in this troubleshooting guide

  You will need to give full read and write permissions in the following list of folders from Adobe:

  • Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe
  • Macintosh HD/users/user name/Library/Application Support / Adobe
  • : Macintosh HD/users/user/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop CS5 Settings to name all of the permissions for this folder Adobe Photoshop CS5 Settings
