I just installed the Sony Vegas Pro 11 program of video editing... it came with NewBlue titration Pro - a program 3D text/title.

To use the program of NewBlue, I need to upgrade my GPU of my ATI Radeon HD 4200 to:

"Requires a compatible OpenCL GPU and catalyst driver 11.7 or later version with a Radeon HD 57xx or higher GPU."

Before I have to buy a new graphics card, I need to know that you will compete with my system and what is above the 57xx should I buy... don't want to spend more than $200.

I read all the other articles on the HP site on how to do, just go shopping for the right one. I don't do any game... especially the video editing.

Thank you very much.

Hello

The most important requirement is that the vga must be a PCIe x 16 a. You can buy anywhere you want, like on ebay, amazon, newegg, etc...

See some suggestions here: http://videoguys.com/Guide/E/Videoguys+System+recommendations+for+Video+Editing/0x4aebb06ba071d2b6a2cd784ce243a6c6.aspx

This card should be ok: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Asus-ATI-Radeon-HD6850-1GB-DDR5-2DVI-HDMI-DisplayPort-PCI-Express-Video-Card-/170721183891?pt=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&hash=item27bfc68893

It is up to $200. Some of the Radeon HD 6870 are under $ 200 also...

Improved my p6267c HDMI (with factory-installed ATI Radeon HD 4350 graphics card) to Win 7 winning 10 and lost some display resolution.  Had to move to resolution of 1920 x 1080 (recommended setting for my HP 2509 m monitor) up to 1680 x 1050 to maximize the size of the rear screen, to what she was using Win 7.  Now the screen's size, but the text is a bit fuzzy and just not as strong as before.  I've updated the driver to the most recent available for this old 2009 ATI card: 8.970.100.9001 which is the latest ATI and Microsoft for this card running Windows 10.  I tried the support hp and google for a replacement graphics card that will work in this office with its 300 Watt power supply.  I will modernize the card and power if necessary to refine the text I get now.   I'm not a gamer, so did not need graphics high power.  I can't believe there is not an answer out there for someone who has experienced the same problem.  Although I love Windows 10, I even considered back to Win 7.

PROBLEM SOLVED!   I took your suggestion and actually found a good deal on a different graphics card to replace the ati radeon HD 4350. BestBuy.com, I found a highly rated card that users have reported similar problems of fixed resolution after the 10th Winidows upgrade.  The map was available on sale for $40.99 (Orig 59.99).  It was available in my local store for 43.99, but they it ot me for the price online.  I am now running my monitor of 2509 m hp at 1920 x 1080 resolution recommended and everything's fine.  Here is the link for the nvidia GEOFORCE 610 GT 1024 MB DDR3 (model VCGGT610XPB) card:

The provided Driver CD is not working, but the website www.pny.com gave a newer driver for Windows 10 (64-bit).

  • HP 250 G4: Yet I am interesting in the upgrade of my GPU (laptop)

I have a computer laptop g4 250 HP with an intel i5-5200u and integrated graphics card HD 5500. I've heard a thousand times that it is impossible to add a dedicated gpu on a laptop, but:

HP provides aservice guide with the largest part of the laptop. Is it possible to buy a motherboard with the AMD Radeon R5 M330, replace my current motherboard with it and add my current processor while basically, I'll add a dedicated GPU?

If somehow, it is not possible, please suggest other ways. I put up-to-date now, but looking for options to upgrade for the future. Also, I'm satisfied with the performance of my current built-in gpu, but I'm tired of them since my last 4 PCs have Intel graphics...

    Thank you.

Well, I looked at the manual and I'm sorry to say that this is one of those where mothers include the processor, welded in full. There is no Chinese restaurant motherboard where you choose 1 from column A and one from column B. It is what it is. If you want the dedicated video you must mark the motherboard with the processor and the chip video and everything and hold on to your wallet. They are very expensive on the newer models.

    Hello Forum team

Laptop model above has the following following problem and upgrade to windows Home 10, 64-bit:

    (1) graphics card works full spin, with fan on.  This is the latest driver updated in Device Manager, also assistant to hp for windows 10 not found no other updates for this laptop, including the BIOS.    Memory and cpu running and a hard drive at least 50%.  Application in the startup Task Manager are reduced to the minimum application.  The graphics card is AMD radeon hd4200.

    Hello

Uncertain about the nature of the problem, but if you have used an older driver that could help?

    Something like that

    https://community.AMD.com/thread/185041

    http://support.AMD.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=legacy2&OS=Windows%208%20-%2064

The downloaded drivers AMD and its GOLDEN!

-To install all components of the pilot normally (Catalyst Control Center etc.)
-> Graphics driver itself not - you need to install manually by using the Device Manager!

-Open Device Manager (right click on the start icon in the left corner), go to "graphics card".
-Right-click on the map and select 'Update driver... '. "in the context menu (first entry)
-Click 'Find a driver on the computer' (2nd entry)
-Click on "Select driver from list.
-Click on the "Device" button... "in the right corner
-Select the driver file (* .inf) in the folder extracted from ATI. In my case, it was C:\AMD\Support\13-1-legacy_vista_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc\Packages\Drivers\Display\W86A_INF.
There are a few different files, it seems that the dialog box choose the right when you simple select one of them... TRY FIRST! Otherwise, you might try reading the .inf files (they are just plain text files - maybe you will find your chipset in there...)
-Click OK, the dialogue will now see one or two entries that should bear the name of your graphics card - select one of them
-Click next - the screen will go black and flicker, you will hear the sounds of connection/disconnection of the device several times. Do not worry, everything works as expected!
-The driver must now be ready - reboot your system and you should now be able to control your graphics settings using the Catalyst Control Center.

  • Is it possible to upgrade a dedicated GPU (R5 M335)

Does anyone have experience of a dedicated to a Dell laptop GPU upgrade?

    I have a series of 15, Dell Inspiron 5559

    16 GB OF RAM

    I7 - 6550 processor

Integrated Intel + R5 M335 Radeon graphics cards

I would like to be able to upgrade the Radeon card if possible, although a few hours Googling, it looks like it is usually quite something difficult to do with laptops, or even not at all. However, many items are several years old I wonder if having a laptop model 2016 makes things a little easier at all?

I'm not really interested in a convoluted external GPU put in place only if I can replace the internal card.

If it's possible, I guess there are limits on what kind of card I could replace by in terms of available power, the speed of the processor, the memory, the heat transfer, etc.

    Thank you very much

The only current generation of laptops that can be upgraded is desktop replacement high range fan systems that use processors of office half-bridge and PCIe (MXM) graphics cards.

Here is the service manual for your model: Inspiron 15 5000 Series Service Manual

You will find a picture of the motherboard on page 67. As you can see, the CPU or the graphics card can be used. The two are permanently soldered to the motherboard. Most laptops are fairly easy to work, but incorporate little socketed processors and MXM graphics plus. Unfortunately, this practice becomes the norm among most of the laptop manufacturers. With the exception of the Alienware 18, all Dell and Alienware product lines now use this built-in component design.

Only storage (disks) and modules of memory can be upgraded on your system.

  • Satellite Pro L670 - 14 p set to upgrade to Windows 8 - ATI obsolete Driver

    Hello

Recently installed Windows 8 as part of a system dual boot on my laptop. I try to play one of the games I usually play on Windows 7 to find that it would not even start that graphics drivers have been exceeded. I tried the Toshiba site for compatible drivers, to find new laptops supported... I looked around the internet and there is no mention of compatible drivers Windows 8 for the L670 - 14 p.

I know that Toshiba had to do with their money, but is it really possible for them to expect the average bettor to by a new laptop to each time a new OS comes out?

As I have dual boot, its not really big a problem, since I can go back to 7, but what your least techincally concerned of their customers, who have installed Windows 8 on capable computers, but the woeful lack of driver updates has now made that deal with a nightmare for them?

I've always bought Toshiba, since I use my laptop for both business and pleasure... my old Tosh, a satellite is still going strong, no problem at all... but I'm afraid of Toshiba's indifference to driver updates is staggering, especially for modern machines. Disability and myopia not completely recognize a new major OS on the release for example Win 8 is quiet frankly pathetic...

I'm sure that other manufacturers of laptop that actually update their drivers will be grateful for the business of Toshiba

    > I looked around the internet and there is no mention of compatible drivers Windows 8 for the L670 - 14 p.

I found info on the books to earn 8 supported:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/innovation/JSP/checkWindows8Compatible.do?service=EU

As you can see the L670 isn't in the list, so win 8 pilots won't come out for this device.

    > I know that Toshiba had to do with their money, but is it really possible for them to expect the average bettor to by a new laptop to each time a new OS comes out?

It of just my personal opinion, but I recommend that you check the pages of other computer manufacturers products every manufacturer out new computer models on a regular basis and this is not new systems available.

If you check the upgrade matrix to win 8, you will see a series of portable over older models which will be get the Win 8 drivers of course it s always pity to see this model of laptop clean is not a part of these updates.

With regard to the display driver:
You can use a page of ATI or some pages of 3rd pilot part like omegadriver.net for example

    Hey

I have one in my possession and I wanted to make a good game.

I don't know if I'll be able to cause. It hurts thinking may be able to put a processor duo or quad, and I do not know if the CPU will be able to support a really good graphics card, and I also think about changing hard drive.

Any1 know what hard drives are compatible with what I can use which are good for games?

    Hello!

I m wondering that you want to upgrade this old notebook. In my view, that a new laptop would be a better solution.

On the CPU and GPU upgrade I can only say s is not possible and not Toshiba support. The GPU is soldered on the motherboard and t can be exchanged.
I think you should read this: http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB9401AX0001R01.htm

The HARD drive can be upgraded. This isn t a problem.
AFAIK the A35 Satellite is equipped with a s IDE HDD and this means that you buy a drive HARD IDE interface up to 128 GB.

  • Upgrade to a GPU in my HP 7500 microtower

    Hello, HP forum

I currently own a done HP Office microtour 7500 with the following specifications:

    I7 3770, 16 GB RAM, Nvidia GT 640

    Product number is: D5S98EA #BCM

http://h20564.www2.HP.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docid=emr_na-c03379994 I'm looking to upgrade to a better GPU. I think Nvidia GTX 680 would be the best choice.  I understand that since the power supply of the computer has only 300 watts I would need also to update and get a new one. My friend gave me an opportunity power OCZ StealthXstream 600W (http://www.pc-specs.com/psu/OCZ/OCZ_600W_STEALTHXSTREAM/318).

I want to ask is if I can fit a double slot GPU in the computer that currently has a single location GPU. And if the two components (OCZ PSU and Nvidia GTX 680) will be compatible with the computer.

Here is the photo of the inside of the computer. You can see that there is plenty of space around my current location single GPU

    Hello

Width single graphics cards may be best option of material due to the requirements of power and the possibility as another addition to cards that may be installed.  Heat dissipation can also be a factor with the size of the existing cabinet.

The GTX 680 is graphics card of 195 watts that speaks to the current consumption and the heat dissipates.

The new NVIDIA graphics cards should work in your PC as your PC has a BIOS version 8 level.  The NVIDIA GTX 750 TI without requirement of connector 6-pin auxiliary power should work in your PC with the existing 300 watt PSU. This card cannot meet your requirements for performance, but it's a very good graphics card.

    I have a HP Paviillion Elite 420it (Core i5 750-6 GB DDR3 RAM - Radeon HD5570 - 460W PSU)

I think to change the graphics card, mi it is:

If buying a graphics card AMD Radeon HD5770 1 GB, my pc HP POWER supply can manage consumption Watt?

The HD5570 2 GB standard in my HP pc standard was low, so I ask that.

Should we change the PSU, or 460W standard handle for you the new card?

    P. s.

I don't have a device that uses energy, only the USB mouse & keyboard.

    Thank you!

I bouth the CUCORE of ASUS HD5770, but I felt unsafe to use the HP PSU, so I took the GS600W CORSAIR.

  • the upgrade of my gpu

Hi I have a HP Compaq dc7600 (renovated) and I want to upgrade in order to play games more fluid and make fast in sony vegas. The games I would like to run is Minecraft. I can run now, but with little fps. I said there is no reason to upgrade my cpu so I wondered what graphics card should I get that is was cheap and decent. I hope someone can help. I'm sorry if this is not enough info, but I'm not good to know the specifications of the computer.

    Specifications of the PC:

Intel Pentium D CPU 3.00 GHz Dual Core

    4 GB of Ram

80 GB HARD drive (I have 500 GB external and plan on internal upgrading soon)

    32 bit operating system

P.S. You probably think these features are terrible, but I've only had this pc for basic things first but know I must upgrade to do more.

Thank you for the additional information.

This is the "technical reference Guide" to the computer.  It has all the features you need to know.  He made them all; including the SFF.

There is a PCI Express x 16 and aPCI Express x 1 slot.  However, the main problem you'll have is the power supply unit (PSU) is only 240W (P. 19).  Most of the newer cards that will be all good for games of any kind requires at least 350W.  I don't think you'll find one that will fit in the case.

Personally, I don't think it's worth the money to upgrade the computer.  That's more than 9 years.  I don't want you to spend money that will not improve performance.

Please click on the Thumbs up button '+' if I helped you and click on "Accept as Solution" If your problem is resolved.

  • The upgrade of the GPU on a H50

I bought my wife a H50 Lenovo desktop computer. It's an i5-4460 with 12 GB of ram. I had two questions: first, how can I find out what type of motherboard there? I serached in msinfo32, but it just says: Lenovo with no additional information. I wanted to move him to a low GPU of range as a GT-710 or 720 instead of the on-board Intel 4600 HD and wanted to make sure that I was going to buy one is compatible with the motherboard. Or maybe just someone knows if the H-50 is comptabible with a GT-710/720.

    Thank you

It has a 'sharkbay' of Lenovo motherboard. On the offices of series H end budget, Lenovo uses exclusive pieces to fit a smaller chassis. As long as your power supply can provide the minimum requirements of the GT710, it should be good. You may need to purchase converters PIN because of the card owner mother.

  • Upgrade Vista to Windows 7, radeon hd 3650 not compatible

I have Dell Studio 1735. Run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor says it is not compatible with Windows 7.

    Isn't it?

A possible solution could there be for me to upgrade?

    Hello

It's a laptop with integrated graphics

You run the Upgrade Advisor, and it comes back as no Windows 7 Compatibile.

Here are some tips given to the posters who want to switch to Windows 7.

If your laptop does not meet the requirements and you can not solve the problems, you're wasting your time.

Go to your computer / computer laptop manufacturer Web site and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.

If this is not available, Windows 7 will not properly work for you.

Run the "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.

  • Upgrade XPS 8100 GPU for video editing? (of GTS 240-> GT 630 Kepler)

    I have older XPS 8100 with power supply 350 W, PCIe v2.

It comes with Nvidia GTS 240

    • Hearts CUDA 112
    • 1 GB 128- bit memory DDR3 memory

Is it wise to update to GT 630 Kepler who has more CUDA cores and memory bigger BUT less bandwidth! Note There are several flavors of the GT 630 map. The Kepler there CUDA more but less bandwidth. It also uses an architecture of nm 28 (?) so it consumes less energy...

    • 384 CUDA cores
    • 2 GB memory 64- bit memory DDR3

I'm just trying to give my older office a little boost so I can keep it a little longer. Just to get into video editing (videos of simple talking heads HD of Canon DSLR mainly for the YouTube/web but can experiment a bit with After Effect too)

    Other improvements, I foresee:

    • Replace the main (and only) with a SSD for the OS
    • Add controller SATA III Housing Board (motherboard currently supports only SATA II)
    • Add 1 or 2 7200 TPM (WD Caviar Black or Seagate Barracuda SATA III), although thought rather than the RAID 0 for speed I was going to do separate so I can use different drives for data, source on one and previews, cache files, etc. on the other hand
    • Add 3 USB so that I can also external platforms if needed is, like maybe keep my second internal drive and the third disk external but connected via eSATA III or USB 3

Given the hassle and expenses, I have no intend to upgrade the i5 processor (1st generation I think) or the power supply. Is the system otherwise "balanced" for what I'll use to?

The 630 GT would be a downgrade from the GTS 240.  I would look at the GTX 650 for an upgrade.  A GT 640 would also be an upgrade at the best prices.

Uninstall the Legacy Catalyst 10.X 12.X 13.X drivers. Do not change the INTEL driver.  Catalyst Control Center REQUIRES Dotnet and that her work and later and without the need of updates.

Download and install the stand-alone 4.5.2 DOTNET.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=42642

Once it is installed and restarted, you can download the current drivers of Omega.

If Omega 14.X accidents with 0x0000000CA during the installation, you will have to do manual updates of windows.

again and again until there is no more.  Then try to reinstall the drivers omega again. Only use WHQL drivers not drivers Beta.
