• Flex components do not work after the upgrade to Flash Builder 4

  I just bought Flash Builder 4 and imported my Flex Builder 3 project. Everything worked except my Flex components that have been created in Flash Professional using the Kit of Compoent Flex may not appear at all in my Flex application. The components have been created in Flash CS3 and published to a CFC. I even tried the upgrade to Flash Professional CS5 and publish again, but that did not help. These components work in Flex Builder 3 with Flex SDK 3.2. Anyone know why they do not appear in Flash Builder 4 with Flex SDK 4.1 and AIR 2.5 SDK? I need to work with AIR SDK 2.5 so I can compile for Android. Thank you, Ryan.

  P.S. when I say that they are not I mean that they are not visible in the currently running application. Flash Builder is find in the good SWC because I instantiate components in my mxml file and it compiles without error. -Ryan

  I downloaded the SWC and looked inside.  It is not related with Flex 4

  version of the FCC.  I think you need to check your configuration.  The CFC

  would have a substantially larger size once you get it right.

• White screen white on approved Flash/AIR app

  Okay, so I got de-A-Rama Deluxe (game) works well in the Simulator. Downloaded from the store. App is approved. And the first thing I get are two zero star reviews from people who say that the game crashes when loading. Just bought and tested on the material (2.0 beta) and of course, I get a blank white screen and theme music, but no game.

  So I pulled it down immediately.

  Two questions:

  1. does anyone know why this could happen in a Flash/AIR application? I have a dozen games on Playbook and this is the first I've seen of him.

  Well, looks like I found it. Took a whole day to comment the code, it would not appear elsewhere than on a playbook of material.

  Now, will soon update Apple iOS to 7.1 and Apple says that, as of February 1, 2014, you can only publish iOS Apps created in XCode 5 in the App Store.
  Or how I have to read this statement from Apple: "From February 1, new applications and app submitted to App Store updates must be generated with Xcode 5 and iOS SDK 7."

  Hello.  I've never posted here before, so if this is the wrong forum, please tell me.

  I have the Adobe CS4 Master Collection and I am interested to buy Flash CS5 by itself, rather than the entire Master Collection.  I want to get the upgrade discount, but I was wondering if I can only pass the version I have.  (for example Master CS4--> Master CS5; Design Premium CS4--> Design Premium CS5)

  So, if I buy the upgrade to Flash CS5 version, I'll be able to install it?  I realize it's kind of a stupid question, but you never know how a company will try to steal your money.

  If you look at the requirements for the single Flash upgrade, as long that the version of Flash you have is indicated as eligible, that's all you need for the upgrade.  You are not required to purchase the together again.

  I've just updated my operating system from Windows XP to Windows 7 Pro (SP1). I can't install Adobe Flash plugin for fire Fox and Seamonkey on Windows 7. I managed to install Flash internal Explorer, and Chrome.

  I have tried many remedies offered on your web site and various blogs - all without success. They included uninstalling Ad-blocking, suspending the firewalls and Antivirus systems, uninstall and reinstall Flash etc. I am currently on version 16 of Flash.

  With Windows XP Flash worked on all browsers without any problems. I use the same Dell 9200PC without modification.

  Is there any fix that I missed this annoying problem?

  The problem is now resolved, do not know how...

  I think it was the force gross, just kept asking read movies and returned to Adobe error report. Think I must have upset them enough!

  Windows 7 is very similar to the Vista and many pilots could and would go with Windows 7, but in very rare cases certain tools would not fully compatible
