Upgrade to Windows 7, it's fun, but it still crashes... How to get back?
Even if I just turn on my computer and not do something, leave it on, Windows 7 will crash within 30 minutes. I can't find Vista Home Premium my Windows CD. I have one from another computer that I own (e-machine, versus the dell who is disfigured by 7). The e-machine cd-rom tells me that I don't have enough disk space to install Vista. I don't see any instructions on how to "go back". Any suggestions?
Hello
Unfortunately, there is no way to "roll back" and installing Windows 7.
You will need to reinstall Vista from the Windows Vista DVD recovery supplied with your computer. You will need your license key as well.
Here are the instructions on how to install Vista:

Att/yahoo updated my email, which suggests to select Firefox as the browser, but how to get back the taskbar?
Hi, you are missing the taskbar Windows, which usually appears at the bottom of the screen? Firefox normally does not block the taskbar if you do not use the mode full-screen. To check if you are using full-screen, you can use the F11 key that toggles between full screen and normal mode.
Or if you meant the menu bar (File, Edit, View), you have two options:
(1) display on request: press the ALT key to press F10 to display bar temporarily
(2) time full display: you can use one of the following methods to view the list of the toolbar, and then select menu bar it:
- Right click on a place empty on the tab bar (or the button '+')
- Press the Alt key to activate the classic menu bar > view > toolbars
- in customize mode > show/hide toolbars (see: Customize Firefox commands, buttons, and toolbars)
Success?

my file were gone in all menu programs start but it still usable in the c drive... Why? and how to get back to normal?...
its empty in all programs but available to the c drive... can someone help me? /The elements of the start menu are a few shortcuts to the files on the C: drive you mention. Done that caused all the elements of Start Menu to disappear? This is sometimes caused by viruses that hide items on the computer, make sure that the computer is virus free, run a Malwarebytes scan on the machine. If the machine is free virus that then I suggest that you do a system restore to a point just before the problem started.

I have more endurance, remove or insert the option pages after upgrade to Adobe DC. How to get back these functions?
Looks like you may have updated to misapplication. Probably, you have Adobe Acrobat (the full version) and installed Adobe Acrobat Reader instead. If you had "improved" Adobe Acrobat, it would have cost you money. Acrobat Reader is free.

Purchase of upgrade of Windows 8 on a computer but install it on another?
Hi, I have a question about upgrading to Windows 8 Pro (this fall). I have a computer netbook with Windows XP license is installed. But, I just bought a desktop PC with free DOS (any operating system) because it was cheaper. He is more than capable to run Windows 8. Unfortunately, my netbook is required to operate Windows 8 screen resolution. It will be possible to buy an upgrade to Windows 8 Pro on account of my netbook under Windows XP and 'transfer' license then install to the PC (which is running Linux, but I hate it)? I see that it is possible to create a USB installation and 'redeveloped' from XP to Windows 8 is not true upgrade, right, since pretty much everything except personnel files will be deleted so I assume that a "full" installation of Windows 8 will be necessary to "upgrade" from XP to Windows 8...
In any case, I hope that it will be possible. And I hope that Windows 8 will be available for the upgrade in Croatia? :)Hello Cridarius,
The copy of Windows XP has been approved for the netbook, so you cannot install it on any other computer. It is also bound to the material on the netbook too.
Your new PC is not an operating system, so it would be more sensible to buy a full Windows 8 commercial copy, when available. Copies OEM (which came with your netbook) are, as I have already said, related to the first PC they are installed on. A retail copy is not. Although you can install the copy you buy on 1 machine (you can not install it on two or more. To do this, you will need to purchase individual copies or multiple licenses.
With a copy to the detail, assuming that, for example, your PC dies and you have purchased a new PC without windows 8, then you may install the copy to the detail on the new PC. I only use copies of the retail of Windows and install it on the new PC I buy. The OEM or the recovery backuip is then kept in the case where later, I sell the PC so that it is restored to the conditions of the factory.

I have upgraded to Windows 10 this weekend (not my choice) but have spent hours fixing Office only to discover today that Adobe Pro (a software that I OWN) tells me "your license no longer works...". recalls
the customer support.
I learned the work around to get my products Office will - how can I get Adobe to function?
An idea that MAY work to install or run some programs in Windows 10 old... works for some, not for others
- or run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL permissions can help... said yet, but sometimes it is necessary for all Adobe programs (this is same as using an administrator account)
If this does not work, I would say that your (unknown) version of Acrobat is too old to work with Win10

It took me almost an hour to get to this point. I am technologically challenged. I have an old version of Firefox. The instructions immediately embark on the 'Firefox window' but says nothing about how to access this window. Where this window? Maybe I should just download Opera?
"Firefox" means Firefox, this is the window that appears when Firefox is opened.
You must follow the directions to update to the latest version Firefox update to Firefox 33.0.2 (read to the bottom of the page to see the screenshots). This will take you to the most recent version of Firefox, and then we can help you with other problems you're having with Firefox.
