Upgrade to windows vista 10
I have restart my Toshiba laptop out of the box settings, and was originally Vista. I am running windows 7 but I don't have the key gave me when I bought it so I'm stuck with Vista. After trying to download 7 many times I just bought 10 of the store windows. I downloaded the ISO 10 windows and made the drive. When I tried to download it on the drive, he said (Windows installation cannot be started from the current operating system. To install Windows, boot from the installation media, or upgrade a supported operating system and run the Setup again. I don't know what to do with this point.
If you're running vista, currently there no free upgrade path to win 10. You must first ensure your hardware would work earn 10 and then you have to buy win 10 and do a clean install of it

Can I upgrade to windows vista home Premium 32 bit on 64-bit operating system
Im running windows 7 Home premium on opus 64-bit system. Can I upgrade to windows vista Home premium 32-bit...
Hello
This is not an upgrade from Windows 7 to Vista.
It is a downgrade that Vista is the previous operating system before Windows 7 came out and you would have to BUY a COMPLETE of Vista version and do a fresh install of Vista; but before you buy Vista, check first that your computer manufacturer provides the Vista drivers for your model computer.

Hello
You are unable to update or upgrade Vista 32 bit to 64 bit of Vista.
32-bit to 64-bit, or 64 bit to 32 bit is done by a new installation using a full version of the operating system.
32-bit and 64-bit are different operating systems.

Attempt to upgrade Windows Vista to Windows 7
I try to update my Windows Vista to Windows 7. I bought to download the rom update the Microsoft store and downloaded, but when I try to start the upgrade I have a stateing message that it is impossible to create or save new files in the folder where it was downloaded. I checked the security permissions in the file and made sure that no programs are 'read only', but it won't always go beyond this point!
Hello
What is the edition of Windows Vista installed on the computer?Make sure that you upgrade to the correct version, some versions of Windows cannot be upgraded with the installation disc you are trying to use. For example, you cannot upgrade a 32-bit version of Windows to a 64-bit version, or upgrade a higher edition of Windows like Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, to a lower edition, such as Windows 7 Edition Home Premium. If this is the case, you will need to use the custom during installation option.
Before you attempt to upgrade, please run the Windows 7 upgrade Advisor:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/downloads/Upgrade-Advisor
Also, check if your computer is compatible for Windows 7, using the Compatibility Center:

The upgrade in Windows Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate
Hello
I HAV downloaded the ISO file following from the MSDN (en_windows_7_ultimate_with_sp1_x86_dvd_u_677460.iso) site for the upgrade from Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit for Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit.
How should I now improve my OS from Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit for Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. Double-click the ISO file says that Windows cannot open the file. How can I open the file? Should it be converted into a .exe file. If so, how?
Thank you.
A .iso file is an image of a dvd. It is not a program or data file. You need to burn this image on a dvd with your burning program. Copy disc, burn to disc. We'll then work the disc in your optical drive.
