Upgrade windows vista for licenses of windows 7

Hi, I saw a copy of the license for vista which I use 2 last year now I want to upgrade to windows 7 (64-bit). Please let me know how can evolve in a less expensive way

Hello

with a Vista Licecne retail , you can install either 32-bit or 64-bit with product key

most people have a preinstalled OEM Vista license, NOT a retail license

and you don't say what version of bit vista you have

and you want the best way out of this

If you have 64-bit vista, upgrade to windows 7 64 bit after taking my information re upgrade paths, pilot information manufacturer, syst4m, requiirements etc.

If you have vista 32 bit, buy the full 64-bit windows 7 license and save yourself problems

  • How to reinstall the Windows 7 upgrade on vista for new installation or in the event of system failure?

I love periodically re - install a new operating system after reformatting hadr drive. In the past it was the of syetem of full operation and not just an upgrade. I have to be sure that it is not complicated, as I want to install the upgrade to Windows 7 (family pack) on 3 PC/laptops running Vista. I would upgrade as detailed instructions on how I would do a new installation using the Windows 7. This is important because I don't want to create a nightmarish experience of backup, install the original operating system, install the upgrade, etc. etc. etc.

If you upgrade a computer Vista Win7 and need or want to do a clean install (or repair install) of Windows, you will need to reinstall Vista and then switch to Win7 again.

Your question has nothing to do with Windows Update. • HP DV7T-2000: Windows 7 Upgrade from Vista for an HP laptop

The installation will not proceed because the software and the computer "reads" the computer is running the battery power and it is not connected to a power source. My computer is "connected" and the battery remains entirely motorized. Indicator power where the power source is connected to the computer is not "informed", but the battery remains @ 100% charge while the computer was turned on for seven hours. Is there a way to get around this? I use Windows 7 and not Vista?

IF that's true then remove the battery and just run with the AC adapter and see if this is the case?

  • Options to upgrade to Vista for Satellite Pro M30-114/Centrino PM 745

    Hello

Does anyone know if there is a solution to make a Satellite Pro M30-114/Centrino PM 745 (model No. PSM35E - 002 X 0 - S4) running windows vista AERO?
According to the Microsoft diagnostic tool, the graphics card is unable to run AERO. Is this true? It can be replaced? with what model of GC? Another option?

Thanks in advance for the help

    Hello

Solution? I don t think that someone will post a solution here.
Why? Because there is no problem!

It s a simple fact that the Vista Aero needs Windows Vista Premium ready computer:
    1 GHz 32-bit (x 86) or (x 64) 64-bit processor).
    1 GB of system memory.
Support for DirectX 9 graphics with a WDDM driver, 128 MB graphics memory (minimum) Pixel Shader 2.0 and 32 bits per pixel.

Your laptop uses a shared 32 to 64 MB graphics card. Sorry, but this is just too weak to run Vista Aero feature.

By the way: it s is not possible to replace and update the graphics card on laptops

I have 2 computers were pre-installed with Vista Edition family content and Basic Service Pack 2. Due to a new system of distribution to come in I had to upgrade to Vista Ultimate. I recnetly just brought the package to upgrade windows 7 Home premium and im wondering if I could use the same disk to install on a second computer and purchase a product key extra for it.

  • Can I use a key to upgrade Windows 7 32 - bit for the upgrade to Vista 64 - bit, 7 64-bit, with a 64-bit upgrade disc?

It's a bit complicated, but I appreciate all help.

    I have the following:
    1. access to a genuine copy of Windows Vista 64-bit (regardless of the version I want) through IEEE Computer Society.
    2. a Windows 7 Professional 64-bit upgrade disc purchased through a program of student software in 2010. Shortly after using the disk and the key, the laptop I was using died due to hardware problems.
    3. a drive to upgrade Windows 7 Professional 32 - bit bought via the same pattern of student software, including an unused key.
Student software system only allows users to buy a copy of each version, so I can't buy it simply another copy of the 64-bit version.
I wonder if it is possible to use the key of the 32-bit version with the version 64-bit upgrade disk to upgrade a 64 bit Windows Vista installation to Windows 7? If this is not the case, unfortunately, I'll be stuck with Vista.
