upgrading to wireless n

Hello everyone, I'm happy to be using my s10, I had a few weeks ago and have been loving him. I would however like to make a few updates, namely wireless n. I bought a processor intel 5300 after having seen a guide on ebay and tried to install it myself. the card has been able to view the networks around me, including my own, but couldn't connect. I realized then that the motherboard wireless g has two antenna ports and intel has three, it does mean that I have another antenna installed for the updated map work correctly. also, I know only the basics of computers, so I'm sorry for the long and maybe stupid question and post, but any help or advice would be much appreciated. also, I installed the hellowifi bluetooth module and it works like a charm with my mouse microsoft incase it's all hestiant on this upgrade. Thank you.

Is there a third antenna on your S10? If included, it should be set to off on the side.

May not have been included. I don't own a S10, so I don't know what is / is not included. If the antenna has not been included, you can probably buy one and send it inside your netbook. Possibly remove your complete netbook and losing your warranty.

  • Upgrade card wireless radio to include Bluetooth - DV6-3030tx

I bought the DV6 without checking it had Bluetooth - don't think you could buy a laptop without bluetooth these days!

I know that I can use a USB Bluetooth adapter and have one and it works but I'm not wanting to have something there still plugged. I had to die to USB ports in the past just repeated blows, they invariably get over time.

I want to upgrade the module wireless to a version that includes Bluetooth, but have had no luck with either call HP or emailed to them.  Maybe I'm not talking to the right number or received the right email but the people of HP at the other end just don't work on what I'm after. We did finally get given a number in Melbourne for a HP service number, but I got a lady who just took the calls that took my number and said: I would like to be rung back by a technician. Didn't happen.

Anyone, 1. find out who to contact at HP and 2. What is the code/part number I need?

Let me know if you need any additional information from me.

    Thanks in advance,

  • Upgrade your wireless Y510p to Wifi AC adapter

I got my Y510p about two weeks as planned and there is Wifi is crap. I was wondering if I could update my card wireless in Intel AC 7260. Wifi AC work correctly, the fact that it has dual band 2, 4 and 5. If it's possible, but I need to delete the whitelist from the BIOS, please let me know where to find the tutorial on how to remove it.

    Thank you.

I am currently using a Wireless-AC 7260 and have no complaints so far. It is perfectly stable, impressive range, and not too from currently released pilots, it's perfect. The version of Wireless-N is assumed to be equal but do not have the strips without wire - AC.

In addition, it voids the warranty if you say that Lenovo you modded your BIOS.

  • The upgrade of the chip Satellite Z830 - 11 H for WiDi wireless

    Hello

im going to upgrade my wireless chip in Z830 - 11 H (pt22le) to allow intel WiDi. Before ordering a new chip, I would get a certainty that the Intel chips that support the WiDi are supported by my system? Right now I have Atheros AR9002WB-1NG, which also works fine, except missing widi, and im just tired of not being able to use it because my LG TV supports!

So please help me! Which one of these cards can I use?

    http://www.Intel.com/content/www/us/en/wireless-products/wireless-product-selection-guide.html

I'd rather have one of the newer models, but that never works will do.

Thank you in advance to anyone who takes the time to help me!

As far as I know as these updates is not supported, so I think t everyone here will be able to help you to the right information. I mean, this information can be offered by Toshiba service if they know.

As you probably know hardware upgrade is very limited and except the RAM or HARD drive another hardware upgrade on mobile gear type is not supported.

  • Tecra 9100 Wireless upgrade path

I don't see an option to upgrade the built in the Wireless 'g', but no one knows if this is possible? If this isn't the case, I suppose that a 'g' pcmcia card will work, but I have to turn off the built-in radio. Someone at - it confirms it please? Thanks in advance - Roger

    Hello

As I know there is no way to upgrade the wireless card. You can just built a g standard or, as you said, some use another solution as wifi PCMCIA card.

In my opinion, avoid any problem. The map that you don t use more, you can disable it in Device Manager.
