  Printer I tried with my old desktop winxp and the rift was healed - perfect impression of a jpeg file.

  Reconnected printer back on my desk win10 and printed on the same jpeg file and printing was perfect!

  Have you tried a few other files that I had problems with and prints are very well - can only be assumed that the problem was down to the usb connector.

  I checked the driver page Toshiba in the Options area but didn't find anything

  AFAIK it of a plug & play HARD drive if you n t need any software to recognize the HARD drive

  There may be a password.
  Try this:
  Connect your HARD drive to the computer when the HARD drive is working
  Select the CD drive with your browser (password)
  Run the ONSPCLCK.exe
  Select 'Options '.
  Select "Disable security password"
  Enter your current password
  Unplug the HARD drive
  connect the HARD drive

  Now, it will work, but with no password protection. Perhaps it would work

  My HP cp1700 printer no longer works with Windows 8, but worked well with Windows 7. It is visible in printers and faxes, but displays always 'offline '. This utility is not correct the problem and I could not find any solution working on the forum. HP support reminds me of Windows drivers, which are installed.   Problem solved with the driver HP CP1700 for Windows 8

  1 module printer via a usb cable to your pc

  2 turn on your printer and let windows to install the printer

  3. go to control panel of configuration, devices and printers, and locate the hp cp1700

  4. right click, properties, hardware, again, then click on to the left of the change settings tab

  5. on the driver tab, click roll-back of driver which previous version of 2012 at the 2006 pilot

  6 follow steps 3 and click on put updated driver and click search automatically and the winows 8 will find for the driver you on the internet and you will have all the features that have been installed for your printer in the end.

  I lived several of these posts here about the hasp and windows keys 7 and I tried many suggested fixes, but nothing works. I installed the software using Windows XP Mode in Virtual PC, I've updated, uninstalled drivers, reinstalled with and without the hasp key inserted. I use the Sigmanest V4, Mastercam9, and Mastercam10 software. All three of these programs worked fine with Windows XP service Pack 3. I did everything that I mentioned above and some of which you try to run the software in compatibility mode. Nothing I try works, Sigmanest software seems like it is recognizing the hasp key because it will be open, but it will not open in demo mode. The two programs Mastercam do not even recognize the hasp key. They open up and say that there is no present hasp key, then close. After years that Windows 7 has been out someone got a solution for this. Maybe they have, but I can't?

  OK, so I applied the DJ_Patch as described. (See http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-All-in-One-Software-and/Deskjet-710-720-810-820-100-Series-prin... ) I have Windows 7, 64-bit and a HP Deskjet 722 C printer.  Tried to print the test page, but received the error from the printer.  Tried to add a printer, you are looking for the 722C, but it is not on the list, even tried to do Windows Update to search for my printer.   Tried to restart, which did not work or the other.  Still get error printer.  I appreciate any other suggestions.  BTW, the printer is connected via a USB to parallel port cable.

  My HP Deskjet 722C now works!  I spent several hours trying different things only to find out it was the cable use to connect the printer to our new computer.  He is there not a lot of info on the package of cable but if you watched closely he said it worked only with Win XP, me and Vista.  Who would have thought that the cable wasn't working with some BONE... me!  Once we went and bought a new cable ($40, Ouch!), we were running a few minutes.  I don't know that a cheaper cable is available online.

  I wanted to post this in the hope of saving someone money, time and frustration on the other.

  Your chance.  After a week of research I found someone who has thought about it.  Apparently his self-defense of Kaspersky which is causing the problem.  Under options disable control external sevice disable.  For me, that did the trick.  If it does not for you also try to disable self-defense under both options.  Once I did it was moving smooth again.

  I recommend you to connect this drive external DRIVE on another computer just to check if it will recognize

  but to be honest, the question smells like a hardware malfunction.

  I solved the problem.  I have checked the connections to the motherboard and swapped USB1 and USB2 connections.  When I reconnected it everything the computer would not start.  I disconnected the connections usb case before and tried and it worked.  It seems that one of the two connections business is bad and the card reader to stop working at the origin.

  I recently bought a Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB Solid State Drive for mid 2012 MacBook Pro father. The computer was working properly, but it was just very slow. I took the old drive and installed the SSD. I took it to an Apple store so that they could install the OS. A guy at the Genius Bar met with me and first tried to install the OS via the Ethernet cable. It is impossible to install some general error. He then tried to install it on a disc. Which also failed. He said he was not familiar with the type of error that he saw. But he said it was a mistake 'bad '. He said he saw the SSD for my SATA cable worked. He concluded that the reader must be defective. I explained how it is virtually impossible because they have a rate of close to zero. He said: "well they are produced en masse" and explained how they could install a hard drive themselves for some too expensive price. A bit annoying.

  In any case, I took the SSD back to my house and threw it in my desktop PC. It works very well. Then what should I do? Why am I not able to get the SSD to install it? From what I read, the Samsung 850 EVO should be compatible with a MacBook Pro 2012. Can I do to install it at home? Is that all I can say people at the Mac store to help them along?

  Most likely, the drive is formatted for use with Windows computers. First step would be to format correctly for Macs.

  This is Mac OS extended (journaled) with a GUID partition map.

  OS X will only be installed on a properly formatted disk.

  Install Windows 8 on HP Touchsmart 520 is really a nightmare. Usually, the display driver installation procedure and Voltron Touchscreen product error 9998 drivers. Oddly, I managed to somehow work around this by using a different display driver (some beta-version of Intel), but it was buggy. Since the reinstallation of Win 8 I can't to install more touch screen driver. Given that the Touchsmart series sells on its touchscreen capabilities and given the fact that HP relies on the Microsoft OS is not only slightly irritating that HP has so far not been able to provide drivers of devices that work well with Win 8 Release Preview. What solution do you offer me? Wait? Back to Win 7?

  The pilot (Nextwindow Voltron Touchscreen) updates automatically after the installation of Win 8 RTM when you only run Windows Update routine. At least in my case it did, and it works fine.

  Hello, I have a desktop Gateway with Windows 7 installed on it. I recently bought the adapter Linksys AE3000

  get internet for it, but whenever I have it plug in, the light comes not now or anything like that. I tried the CD as well and it is said that

  the adapter is not detected. I've tried different usb in the port itself and they worked perfectly, I also tried the

  adapter on another computer and it worked perfecftly.

  I downloaded the correct driver for it and installed it on my computer, but when I try to update, it says: "Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error when trying to install."  The adapter is displayed in the Device Manager and everything, but it just won't work little matter what I do, I could do to fix it?

  I had the same problem. If you reinstall Windows, the connected device and choose install drivers, having them ready on USB key, cd or diskette, the ae3000 will work when you plug it in after the installation. If you already have some winders installed 7 delete and remove all the drivers for the ae3000 then restart in safe mode by pressing F8 during the restart. Mine doesn't let me do this for a reason, so I me in SafeMode with power off then turn it back on it gives you the possibility to go in safe mode. Manually install the drivers, Rebooot and they work. These two methods have always worked for me. Good luck.

• Intel Wimax 5350 works only with windows 7/t400

  As someone who uses the Server 2008 on my desktop, when I received my t400 a few days ago I hesitated at the idea of using vista.  so I decided to download and install windows 7 64-bit (Vista 32 bit... I did an install own good... I think).  I haven't heard of anyone having problems with the drivers wireless in windows 7 and, indeed, intel States on their site that windows 7 will automatically install the drivers for the card 5350 wireless.

  Unfortunately, during the installation of windows 7 was complete the drivers were not installed and I don't have access to the internet.  I therefore had to take my Office Wireless usb adapter, then plug it to access the internet.  Windows Update has not fixed the problem.  so I installed the visa of intel 64-bit drivers and windows told me that my wimax device has been recognized, the drivers have been installed, etc.

  except the wireless card still does not work!  He is currently under listening network cards as area network/2 connection cable unplugged/intel wimax link 5350.  I do not understand... should not it listed as being a wireless network connect as is my usb adapter?

  I think that the problem might be that in Device Manager, I don't have a driver for the controller network, serial port pci or pci simple communications controller.

  It is quite frustrating and I really regret not putting more thought in this installation of windows 7.
