Use a table to count the bodies in another

Okay, so I am a very new person for Labview, but understand the layout page/coding if it is explained properly. I'm having a problem to understand what I should do next in my little program.

What I do is read 2 files. 1 file specifies the names of computer models, and I did that in a 1 d table. The second file is a compilation of computers received in one day (incoming orders). So far the second file, I have that in a string of worksheet to the table with '%s' Format string '-' delimiter and Dbl 2D-array type. Line of worksheet to the table goes into an array with an index colum Index "1". What pulls the information that I need/want.

What I want to do is to compare the names of model set in 1 file and count how many of each model have come through the second file.

EX

Total received: 106

Model x: 40

Model D: 35

Model C: 31

I'm stuck on how to make the next step. I tried to search for examples, but none help enough to jog my brain. Any help would be appreciated.

The extent of the couting the different models, variant attributes work extremely well.

  • Is it possible to do it in a table? (Count the number of days from a certain date)

    Hello

    I did yesterday a data base to make my job easier. I could make it even more effective if I could understand this delicate piece of business.

    What I have is in my table has a column called "Date completed". This column contains the date when the project was completed. Then, I would like to have another column in the table called "number of days elapsed since completion. This column would have simply taken the date in column "Date completed" and count the number of days since that day and show them in a numeric value (i.e. 28). This way I could do a select and display everything is over for a number of days where I need complete my report (s).

    Thanks for any help. If you know a way to do that is completely different from what I'm trying to please do not hesitate to propose a solution, I'm a complete newbie to this. I took a basic SQL course at the College a few years ago, but never learned to do anything as advanced as this.

    Thanks again

    Your number of days can be easily calculated as trunc (sysdate) - date you completed column.

    You probably don't want to store the number of days in the table (since his will change daily)-instead it calculate on the fly that you query the data (or if you have 11 g you could watch the virtual to make columns persistent calculation rather than the value in the table).

  • How to use "Routing Table" option in the Proxy in OSB service?

    Hello

    I created business services and Proxy in my console of OSB. I used the "Custom Query" option when creating the database adapter and I am passing a parameter to the query. My input parameter is 'name '.

    Based on the input for this parameter values, I spend a values corresponding to the query. By example, if I pass the following values to the input parameter "Name" (India) I need to spend "Value1" to my request.

    The India-> value1
    China-> value2
    America-> value3

    To achieve this requirement, I used option "Routing Table". I specified the values as follows: -.

    Expression - $body / fet:FetchCustDataInput / fet:Name
    Operator - '='
    Compare the value - India
    Service - "my Webservice.
    Operaton-"my Service operation.

    In the "application of Actions:" I added the 'add an Action-> processing e-mail-> replace' and provided the following values.

    Replace < XPath > = $body / fet:FetchCustDataInput / fet:Name
    Variable = 'name '.
    with the Expression = xs:string('Value1')
    and the "Replace the content of the node" option selected.

    No validation error I encountered. I created the routing table in the Proxy service. But when I try to run the service proxy in my Test Console, I get the following error
    «The call resulted in an error: an unknown error during the processing of the message of service ProxyService OSBQueryService/FetchByCustomQuery/FetchByCustomQueryPS.»

    I even activated "Direct call" and 'Include Tracing' options as well. The message in "Tracing" give "(echo request)
    Routed service. No Service has been invoked, echoed the demand. ».

    Can someone please help me solve this problem.

    Thanks in advance,
    Udaya

    Hi Marion,.

    Replace = $body / fet:FetchCustDataInput / fet:Name
    Variable = 'name '.
    with the Expression = xs:string('Value1')
    and the "Replace the content of the node" option selected.

    Above replace the action is wrong. It should be like -

    Replace = $body / fet:FetchCustDataInput / fet:Name
    Variable = body
    with the Expression = xs:string('Value1')
    and the "Replace the content of the node" option selected.

    Kind regards

    Hello

    Using JDeveloper 12.1.2.3 and have a table where I want to disable a cell in the row, based on a value in another cell (in the same line) and vica versa, IE are mutually exclusive.

    The photo below shows the two cells that need to be mutually exclusive. I have implemented this by setting the "Disabled" field to something like that

    "#{row.bindings.LineOfBusiness.inputValue ne ""}"

    I also put the autosubmit = true and added a partial trigger for the other column cell.

    Should be simple enough, right.

    The problem is that it doesn't work and all lines is disabled.

    It turns out that I needed to check on

  • Count the number of rising edges in table 1 d

    Hello

    I wanted to measure the frequency of a pulse signal using a MCC DAQ via libraries ULx in Labview. I have two methods to do this:

    1. use the analog inputs:

    Since data acquisition has only 1 ADC, I use a commune VI acquisition for all channels and create a multi-dimensional array with different channels in rows 0-15. Then divide them by using the function "Array Index".  I think this split removes the parameter 'time' to the wave, since it is now a table 1 d. But I already know that there will be 1000 samples each 100 m everything I want to do now is to count rising edges using a function and divide it by the 0.1 to obtain the frequency in Hz, but I don't know how. Can anyone help?

    2. use the input frequency meter:

    Because I can't use the DAQ assistant, I have to use the CI frequency-> counter 1ChanNSamp DBL 1 d in the ULx library. There is no reference to take aid to and I do not know if this method is good. I have no way of knowing since I do not have a signal generator. In addition, it does not work so far.

    Help, please.

    Thank you!

    Thank you.

    I note in your first post it is seems to want to get readings of speed about 10 times per second. To get a resolution of 1 Hz frequency direct count you need to get at least 2500 counts in a range of counting at the highest frequency. This means that you need to have at least a second. Measures of the time are another option.

    Some preliminary calculations:

    Period at 2500 RPM = 2500 Hz is 400,000 Americans.

    Period at 2499 RPM = 2499 Hz is 400,160 to the United States.

    You need to be able to resolve a difference of 160 ns period. To do this directly requires 6.25 MHz sampling rate.  It is 25 times faster that your DAQ card can enjoy.

    What other options are there? Consider only your Information.vi extract. He uses techniques of Fourier transformation and interpolation to find the frequency of a signal. I set up a quick test VI to check this. Using a sampling rate of 10 kech. / s and 1000 samples per read (10 reads per second), it has easily resolution of less than 0.1 Hz at both ends of the range of speed and largely independent of the amplitude.  This is the way to go.

  • count of the elements of another frequency table

    Hello

    I'm new to apex oracle so patient with me

    I'm counting the number of items in the other table using primary key (in this case the ID) for example:

    Inventory of the table:

    IDFRUITLOCATION

    1

    AppleWE
    2ORANGEUK
    3MANGOGermany
    1AppleUK
    1Apple

    UK

    Summary table

    ID
    FRUIT
    QUANTITY
    1Apple3
    2ORANGE1
    3MANGO1

    So basically I want to get quantity table in the summary table based on the inventory data, I thought to change the Source of the region by using apex_item.text, but it is not working properly. And I think that there are some restrictions in the source of the region on the query syntax as well since I can't use the count() function on the SELECT part, or using the loop, ideas?

    Simply create a second region of report based on a query, we gave you. Do not base a report on a table, you can create a report based on a query.

  • How to load data from matrix report in the base using ODI table data

    Hello

    How to load matrix report data in the base table data using oracle Data Integrator?

    JOB                       DEPT10                DEPT20

    CLERK                   1300                     1900

    JOB                             Dept                        Salary
    _____________________________________________
    ANALYST                  DEPT10
    ANALYST                  DEPT20                     6000
    CLERK                       DEPT10                    1300
    CLERK                       DEPT20                    1900

    Thank you for your help in advance. Let me know if any other explanation is needed.

    Your list seems to be a bit restrictive, you can do much more with the procedures of ODI.

    If you create the new procedure and add a step. In the 'source' tab command you define technology and pattern according to your source database. Use the unpivot operator as described in the link, please, instead of using "SELECT *' use the column names and aliases for example:"

    SELECT workstation,
    deptsal as deptsal,
    saldesc as saledesc
    OF pivoted_data
    UNPIVOT)
    deptsal-<-->
    FOR saldesc-<-->
    IN (d10_sal, d20_sal, d30_sal, d40_sal).<-->
    )

    Then in your tab 'command on target' defined technology and drawing on your target db, then put your INSERT statement for example:

    INSERT INTO job_sales
    (employment,
    deptsal,
    saledesc
    )
    VALUES
    (
    : job,.
    : deptsal,.
    : saledesc
    )

    That's why you use bind variables from source to load data into the target.

    Obviously if the source and target table is in the same database, you can have it all in a single statement to the "command on target' as

    INSERT INTO job_sales
    (employment,
    deptsal,
    saledesc
    )
    SELECT workstation,
    deptsal as deptsal,
    saldesc as saledesc
    OF pivoted_data
    UNPIVOT)
    deptsal-<-->
    FOR saldesc-<-->
    IN (d10_sal, d20_sal, d30_sal, d40_sal).<-->
    )

    also assign the log count "Insert" on the tab corresponding to your INSERT statement, so that you know how many rows you insert into the table.

    I hope this helps.

    BUT remember that this feature is out in Oracle 11 g.
