  I am trying to create simple VI that will turn off the monitor (or screen saver turns on) and entrance to block mouse and keyboard - user so won't be able to see the screen and do any action. I use system32.dll for this.

  My problem is that when my VI turn off the monitor, user can enable it back by simply moving the mouse or using the keyboard, similarly as these devices are blocked (by the function BlockInput of System32.dll).

  How can I do the ultimate freeze?

  This is a very interesting problem you have there. I was snooping around Microsoft technical support for a bit, and the only reasonably simple method, I found was running powercfg.exe from an elevated line comand. You can query wake programmable devices with powercfg - devicequery wake_programmable poster theand disable using "Your device name" powercfg - devicedisablewake. Here you can find a more detailed documentation.

  Except that I have found no reliable method that will spare you excessive digging in the registry. Maybe some 3 rd party tool?

  One more thing: If your goal is to prevent the user from interacting with anything, it would be easier to make up a large modal window that does not workaround? At least, it seems to me that it is much simpler to use a native Windows function that is not provided for this purpose.

  Hi guys. I'm quite familiar with Labview now, but can't seen to get my head around this problem. I have a slider that is numbered from 1 to 10. under the cursor, I inserted 10 LED lights. My sister in order to use the slider to turn off the lights and. for an example, when I set the cursor to one, at the far left light should go. When I put the cursor at 2, the first witness should go second light next to him, and the model continues.   I gave in and doesn't have an updated system. I hesitated because of the number of items that would be removed, but did not find the solution easy here I did anyway. It would seem that the updates that have been installed recently was the culprit that after completing the update and reboot the system, my wireless icon is back and I can again connect to the internet via hotspot on my cell phone.   Until now, I had no problem with router, but as I connected the new PC, with windows 8 is installed, the router, I began to encounter the following problem: I turn the host computer (wired, PC with windows 8) off after a minute or two the router (if not always on) continues to transmit the internet signal with other devices (wired (TV) and other wireless).  What's also interesting is that, when I unplug the PC from the router ethernet cable (when the PC is turned off), the router begins to function normally. Why and how to fix it? It seems that the PC would stop the router in the transmission of the signal.
  I would apreciate any help I could get. Because the router is working otherwise fine (when the computer host is turned on when the PC is disconnected from the it), I guess it has something to do with the windows configuration.

  Hi there... we have a different router, but I had exactly the thing happens to me when my husband bought his new computer. After hours of technical support that gave no results of our router manufacturer, I did some research on the web, a vast and I think I found the solution.

  Go to control panel > system and security > system > Device Manager > network adapters > find your network card (mine says in time real PCIe GBE) open cela, go to power management and uncheck the BOX allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

  After that I did that my router is no longer turns off/goes to sleep when my computer is. Offshore.

  Give that a try, and if all goes well, it will help you too.

But I did not carefully think about more, maybe you have some scripts that say exactly what should be the order to turn off the coast and later on this subject.

  That's right: disable foreign key constraints before disabling the primary (or Unique) key constraint correspondent.  When you reactivate them, re - enable the constraint of primary (or Unique) key before the corresponding foreign key constraints.

  Aside from that, the order should not issue.

  Open utility disk located in Applications/Utilities

  The problem is most likely an attempt to update a system malfunction prior it is probably a problem with your computer, not the El Capitan.

  Start by:

  Reset the PRAM and NVRAM on your Mac.

  MacIntel: Reset of the controller (SMC) system management

  Start in Safe Mode , and then re - start normally. It's slower that a normal start, so be patient.

  If you are unable to start;

  Reinstall El Capitan without erasing the drive

  Please make sure that you back up.

  1. Restart the computer. Immediately after that the chime hold down the command and R until the Utility Menu appears.
  2. Select disk utility, then click on the continue button.
  3. Select the withdrawal (usually Macintosh HD) entry of the volume in the list aside.
