Video resolution issues in Windows Vista
I have the same problem, as indicated in the Catch 22 - white screen at startup. I can get it up in safe mode, but then it becomes empty as soon as the loading of Windows Vista. I tried the advanced boot low resolution. I get the low resolution, but it resets itself, until I can get to the control panel or the video settings...
Is there a registry setting that I could change when it is in safe mode? or I could remove that would rebuild itself with the default values?

Try to uninstall the existing video drivers defined that, then the system will default to the standard VGA mode when restarting.

DVD burning issues using windows vista
OK so im, backup data out of my laptop. I have about 2 GB ready to be burned onto a dvd and I got a file over to burn was that of 600 MB should adjustment no problem at all but for some reason, vista tells me my dvd is full makes no sence so I burned dvd and went to my next dvd using the 600 MB file and it let me fill the full capacity of 4.7 GB dvd does vista sometimes to put a ghost or sometihng file that won't allow me to fill the disc ive met this problem once before and this is no his almost random logic

Try to copy the files in one shot and check if you still get the error message.
Given that the issue occurs at random times, I suggest that you can delete the temporary files that are created by the burning.Navigate to the following location and delete them all the files in the temporary folder burn.
Burn \appdata\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Burn\Temporary file C:\Users\Then delete temporary files on the computer.

Compatibility issues with Windows Vista Business
Could not install Oracle 10 g/Microsoft SQL Server 2005 on this 32-bit machine. Windows Vista Business.It is machine Lenovo Thinkpad with 3 GB of RAM. Installation ends abnormally. Can install Oracle/SQL Server 2005 on Windows Vista or should I change to Windows Xp professional? Are there problems of compatibility with Windows Vista Business? How should I upgrade so that I can install Oracle/SQL Server etc for my development/practice work?

Strange Lag issues on Windows vista 32-bit as well as game slow load time
OK, this is really starting to annoy me, and I would be very grateful if anyone can solve this problem for me. Well since I had my HP Pavilion Vista 32-Bit seems "randomly Lag" occasionally. For example, I'd be right on the web, and then all the computer slows down as the office. Windows and the programs seem to start to take longer to open. I reccently got a video card Nvidia GTS 250 for the game but still lags. But the strangest thing is that this problem occurs randomly. The problem seems to stop and then "randomly comes back" to happen to my PC. So far, my solution is to leave the computer alone or just leave it turned off. But the other day I left 3 days straight and did not help a bit. It was a month ago, but it was very strange. Now, he seems to be doing more often. (I do not add or download new programs recently)
It really bothers me, and I stopped buying games for my cause of PC that I rarely have the opportunity to play their cause of this problem. I know I did not describe my great problem but can someone help me please?Dis_Ze_Legend,

Windows Vista guard freezing and 'unresponsive. '
I have a HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC with Intel Core 2 Duo CPU P8600 @ 2.40 GHz, Memory (RAM) 6.0 GB, 64-bit operating system. It has been gradually worsens with the "no answer", seems to "freeze" screen become white. I've updated the latest. Have updated the program, Trend Micro Titanium Maximum security and cannot find anything wrong. I'm not experienced with a computer by far if there is no help for baby in the computer world it would be appreciated!

Windows Vista (32 bit) repetitive crashing
My Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit (Dell Inspiron 531) has been crashing a lot lately. A picture of what is happening on my screen is here -http://pops23.blogspot.com/2010/06/anyone-have-this-happen-to-their-ms.html
