Use Lightroom CC as a source of import to Premiere Pro?

I have all my files video camera and phone stored in Lightroom CC. Can I use LR as source for video in Premiere Pro CC, without duplicating the video at all? Or at least as easy as Apple has done with the help of iPhoto/Photos + iTunes for music into something like iMovie?

TIA

Premiere Pro and Lightroom are unrelated to each other.

The path contains a backslash. If so, change it.   It would be useful to show the way you want to import from.  You can try to modify the handling setting in the preferences for the second parameter where the backslash is considered to be illegal and is replaced.  Its probably best to simply not use these characters in any case.

  • I want to use a chart of real-time-drawn arrow in Premiere Pro (a bit like the Tarantino style).

I created a graph of arrow in After Effects, and I want to import into Premiere Pro to cover a precise shot to point AT something. The problem is, after I made the chart after affects and import it into Premiere Pro, the arrow is there but the graph also includes the solid square color background. I don't want the background. I want just the arrow, so that I can ask on a whim. How can I do?

Make some AE by using a codec that supports alpha channels.  I like Quicktime movies in the Animation or PNG codec for it.  RGB + Alpha, Millions of colors + and straight (i.e. NOT premultiplied).

Use the rendering queue.  Do not export.

You can render the title of Premiere Pro as a film and bring it into After Effects as a video file. Titles are not automatically converted when you copy and paste of Premiere Pro, After Effects, or use Dynamic Link to send something to After Effects.

  • Changing properties of the file during import to Premiere Pro

    Hello

Strange problem I encountered: images taken with my Canon 6 d fixed changes in 1920 x 1080 / 30 fps at 1080 x 720/25 fps when they are imported into Premiere Pro (CS6). My PP settings are: Digital SLR, 1080 p 30.  Can someone help me understand what is happening here I have triple checked the camera and PP. settings This problem is forcing me to produce videos SD that I shot in HD – a real frustration!  Thank you.

Thanks for your reply, but I just found out that the mistake was made before importing files in Premiere Pro. Initially, I had these files stored in the Mac Photos and did not know that by dragging to the desktop would change the file properties. To keep the original properties, you must go to file > export > export original unmodified.

You use any version of first - export to MPEG-2 DVD format and it will work in still CS6.

A fast rule to determine the bitrate is bitrate = 560/minute, and I usually rounds down a little safety margin. Or use a debit online calculator. It makes no sense several encoding time.

We can certainly adapt 2 hours or even more on a single DVD, but note that with the increasing compression, quality goes down. However, some content works very well with low bitrate, for example talking-head video type. If your video has a lot of details and action, then perhaps follow the suggestion of Ann, but is not a strict limit, to you how long you want to squeeze on a disc. Sets of two discs are not always practical. I shoot a lot of dance recitals that are more than two hours and they go on a single disc and look good, no complaints.

  • Video input appears tense, when they are imported into Premiere Pro CS6

I'm on a level of beginner on Premiere Pro, so please be nice if this question is very basic. I'm doing a video that preserves the video resolution of entry exactly. My video entry was a MP4 movie with a resolution of 1440 x 1080. It is a recording of screen iPad using the X-Mirage software. When I opened normally in quicktime format, it seems not tense. However, when I imported the clip in first, the clip appeared tense. I checked the properties of the element, and it proved to have Pixel Aspect Ratio 1.3333, which means that the pixels are elongated. My output sequence was also strained because of this, although the output indicated that the resolution is the same: 1440 x 1080. I tried to comply with the "Clip Mismatch warning' and the result was still a stretched version. Help, please!

I'm guessing that first interpreter clip homesick. He probably than her video hdv 1440 x 1080, which is equal to 1.33.

Go to interpret images and set the format of the pixels to 1.0.

See if that will fix it.

  • How to import a Premiere Pro into After Effects

So I'm an editor, I cut trailers and TV spots. I enjoy doing my After Effects title cards, because it gives me a lot of options but I'm having trouble. How can I import / edit a Premiere Pro into After Effects? I imported the project file, but it was a mess and nothing makes sense. Can someone explain this process for me?

Either way, I used CS5.5 versions of the software.

In fact, it works better if you go to the other way around... link an AE comp in your creative project.

Create and link to After Effects with Dynamic Link compositions

  • MOV files won't import into Premiere Pro 1.5

    Hello

    I just got a Zodak zi8.

When I try to import the MOV files, the importer reports a "generic" error

Regardless of the quality of the video I shoot.  HD, 720 60 frames, 720 30 frames.  It is not read.

They play in Quicktime format, they play in Windows Media.

They simply fit in Premiere Pro 1.5.

I have a Toshiba Satelite, Windows 7 uses a lot of memory and ram.

I searched through the forums, but can find no answers.

I can't use these files in first?

    Thank you!

Pro 1.5 does not support H264, you need to convert or upgrade to CS5

  • Degradation of JPEGs imported into Premiere Pro CS4 in steps

For this I downloaded 2 JPEG files, I don't know if the scale applied by the forum software is just for display in the message, I hope that JPEG files can be downloaded as they have been downloaded.

In any case, I make a documentary, he made abundant use of computer images captured in JPEG format using the Microsoft Vista cutting tool.

The first JPEG is a real snip, while JPEG was introduced in Premiere Pro CS4 and I did another captures the workspace.

It's progressively worse within the PrPro.

PrPro window in the top center shows how PrPro JPEG format after importation.

    This shows a degradation.

PrPro window top right shows how PrPro JPEG format after the addition of the sequence on the top layer of video and it has more degradation, in particular it vertically down by comparison with the first of these 2 screens.

When I do a test of the 1 4 seconds of this sequence generation, the JPEG is unreadable.

It is perhaps in part because of the square pixels computer video versus PAL rectangular pixels, but I don't think it's history because of the increase in degradation. The ability to present with 1.333 pixels using rather than the square does not solve the problem.

I used Windows Movie Maker and Windows Live Movie Maker to create JPEGs which this JPEG video files and basically what they translate with only a tiny decline, output files .wmv 1080 HD, Movie Maker gives only intertwined but Live Movie Maker gives progressive, so I think.

If you import these .wmv files and place on the top layer of the sequence that they also get murdered in PrPro.

Tool Vista capture is to save JPEG files as RGB 24 bits and Gimp color evoke the color in sRGB profile.

Is it possible to get RGB JPEG processed correctly in PrPro?

    Thank you.

    ---------------

I have download the sequence of parameters you will see here are for interlaced HDTV 50, but also my video resource only for this sequence, I found is progressive better so I'll start by creating a new sequence to match the video resource base. The interlaced stuff was just because my vid cam creates interlaced AVCHD but all these vid files have been used in previous projects and the output has been set to 1080 progressive

    your project now

    1440 x 1080 50 Hz 25 fps, 16:9 (anamorphic-1, 333) - problem of language from me... That's right 25 frames per second?

    your sample video

    XDCAM-ex, 24.4 fps, 1920 x 1080, 50 Hz.  -Once again, language prob... It's 24.4 fps?

Download bad example? looks intertwined for me (50 Hz), but I'm a little confused because I do not work with pal and do not (your) language. How you can know more than one language is beyond my comprehension!

Anway, was this snack one mistake and you are really going to use progressive? You can download jpg of this progressive file info if it was a mistake?

progressive should say something like "fields = no, no field, progressive, or square pixel.

lets get this project directly first defining... cause, you might be better to create your project settings "custom / desktop" instead of a "Preset"...

especially with your video in 1920 x 1080 instead of 1440 x 1080... you want to make your project, 1920 x 1080, 1440 x 1080 anamorphic and not.  But first lets be sure if your video is interlaced or progressive you want in the project... then you will make the project to match images and then after that in the face of AN image and you should be set to go

  • Lost audio in a video clip when imported for Premiere pro cc 2015?

    Hello,

I've never had a problem like this with pp...

I have here a video which lasts 15 minutes I need to edit. The format of the mp4 video file and the acoustics are ACC (I think).

When I import into PP, the audio is cut off after 6 minutes in the video when I see it, but when I look at the video playback in another application (vlc) audio in the video is perfect in everything - no break points or dead silence, so I know that there is nothing wrong with the video recording.

Someone knows how to solve this problem with Premiere Pro? I tried to restart the application; no difference

    falll.jpg

Whence the video clip? Judging by the name of the clip, could be the game screenshot? Lots of capture software seems to capture an image variable rate video, who does not like the first. Convert the clip via HandBrake software at a standard rate may be the answer if that's the case.

  • Use Lightroom as a RAW converter without import of Images

    Hi-

I have a question that I can't find the answer to anywhere. I have pictures on my desk I would like to convert RAW to JPEG without having to import them into LR.

I mean, it of I want to be able to open a folder, right-click on an image and convert RAW to JPEG in the folder. Is this possible? If it's important, I have Windows 7,

    Thank you
    Kelly

    Is not possible in Lightroom.

You can import the raws do conversion to JPEG, and then delete the Lightroom raw files, use the 'remove' option not the ' delete drive '.

If you have Photoshop, you can do what you want with Bridge/Adobe Camera Raw.

  • ERROR IMPORTING IN PREMIERE PRO

    Hello world

First, I just want to say that I'm not an experienced user of all outside Lightroom adobe products.

I recently started trying to edit my videos to travel on first pro, but I continue to deal with this problem when I import a .mp4 file: "the file has no stream of audio/video data".

This problem occurs only on the videos I import is not a thumbnail in the folder save these videos to travel. The thumbnail appears simply as a "VLC cone" in my file. Other videos that do not have an import fine tile.

All my videos are shot on a GoPro and are in .mp4 format.

No idea how I could fix this?

Thank you for taking the time to read this!

MP4 is a wrapper, which is inside YOUR package - exactly what is on the INSIDE of the video you are editing?

A report with details of codec your file, use the following programs... A screen capture works well for people to SHOW what you do - press for Windows Internet explore the PRINT SCREEN key on your keyboard and then do Ctrl + V to paste the screen to the Clipboard in a forum message
