Import into Premiere Pro CS6 .wmv

A black box bar huge letter traveled half my wmv file screen.  I don't know where that came from, and it happens to wmv but not mp4 or mov or just wmv files.  Same problem goes for After Effects.  Everything has been working with no problems until recently file, he began.  Use Wins7. I don't know if I have done something to the computer or not.  Any help? Thank you

  • Video input appears tense, when they are imported into Premiere Pro CS6

I'm on a level of beginner on Premiere Pro, so please be nice if this question is very basic. I'm doing a video that preserves the video resolution of entry exactly. My video entry was a MP4 movie with a resolution of 1440 x 1080. It is a recording of screen iPad using the X-Mirage software. When I opened normally in quicktime format, it seems not tense. However, when I imported the clip in first, the clip appeared tense. I checked the properties of the element, and it proved to have Pixel Aspect Ratio 1.3333, which means that the pixels are elongated. My output sequence was also strained because of this, although the output indicated that the resolution is the same: 1440 x 1080. I tried to comply with the "Clip Mismatch warning' and the result was still a stretched version. Help, please!

I'm guessing that first interpreter clip homesick. He probably than her video hdv 1440 x 1080, which is equal to 1.33.

Go to interpret images and set the format of the pixels to 1.0.

See if that will fix it.

  • Degradation of JPEGs imported into Premiere Pro CS4 in steps

For this I downloaded 2 JPEG files, I don't know if the scale applied by the forum software is just for display in the message, I hope that JPEG files can be downloaded as they have been downloaded.

In any case, I make a documentary, he made abundant use of computer images captured in JPEG format using the Microsoft Vista cutting tool.

The first JPEG is a real snip, while JPEG was introduced in Premiere Pro CS4 and I did another captures the workspace.

It's progressively worse within the PrPro.

PrPro window in the top center shows how PrPro JPEG format after importation.

    This shows a degradation.

PrPro window top right shows how PrPro JPEG format after the addition of the sequence on the top layer of video and it has more degradation, in particular it vertically down by comparison with the first of these 2 screens.

When I do a test of the 1 4 seconds of this sequence generation, the JPEG is unreadable.

It is perhaps in part because of the square pixels computer video versus PAL rectangular pixels, but I don't think it's history because of the increase in degradation. The ability to present with 1.333 pixels using rather than the square does not solve the problem.

I used Windows Movie Maker and Windows Live Movie Maker to create JPEGs which this JPEG video files and basically what they translate with only a tiny decline, output files .wmv 1080 HD, Movie Maker gives only intertwined but Live Movie Maker gives progressive, so I think.

If you import these .wmv files and place on the top layer of the sequence that they also get murdered in PrPro.

Tool Vista capture is to save JPEG files as RGB 24 bits and Gimp color evoke the color in sRGB profile.

Is it possible to get RGB JPEG processed correctly in PrPro?

    Thank you.

    ---------------

I have download the sequence of parameters you will see here are for interlaced HDTV 50, but also my video resource only for this sequence, I found is progressive better so I'll start by creating a new sequence to match the video resource base. The interlaced stuff was just because my vid cam creates interlaced AVCHD but all these vid files have been used in previous projects and the output has been set to 1080 progressive

    -----------------------

    your project now

    1440 x 1080 50 Hz 25 fps, 16:9 (anamorphic-1, 333) - problem of language from me... That's right 25 frames per second?

    your sample video

    XDCAM-ex, 24.4 fps, 1920 x 1080, 50 Hz.  -Once again, language prob... It's 24.4 fps?

Download bad example? looks intertwined for me (50 Hz), but I'm a little confused because I do not work with pal and do not (your) language. How you can know more than one language is beyond my comprehension!

Anway, was this snack one mistake and you are really going to use progressive? You can download jpg of this progressive file info if it was a mistake?

progressive should say something like "fields = no, no field, progressive, or square pixel.

lets get this project directly first defining... cause, you might be better to create your project settings "custom / desktop" instead of a "Preset"...

especially with your video in 1920 x 1080 instead of 1440 x 1080... you want to make your project, 1920 x 1080, 1440 x 1080 anamorphic and not.  But first lets be sure if your video is interlaced or progressive you want in the project... then you will make the project to match images and then after that in the face of AN image and you should be set to go

  • MOV files won't import into Premiere Pro 1.5

    Hello

    I just got a Zodak zi8.

When I try to import the MOV files, the importer reports a "generic" error

Regardless of the quality of the video I shoot.  HD, 720 60 frames, 720 30 frames.  It is not read.

They play in Quicktime format, they play in Windows Media.

They simply fit in Premiere Pro 1.5.

I have a Toshiba Satelite, Windows 7 uses a lot of memory and ram.

I searched through the forums, but can find no answers.

I can't use these files in first?

    Thank you!

Pro 1.5 does not support H264, you need to convert or upgrade to CS5

  • Convert MOV files to import into Premiere Pro 1.5 264

    Hey everybody,

It is in fact generated out of my previous post on the Kodak zi8 files.

    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/700268?TSTART=0

We have established that PrPro 1.5 will not import the MOV files native to a Kodak zi8, which are of the 264 encoded MOV files.

What I need is some advice on an inexpensive way to convert MOV something 264 which PrPro 1.5 will recognize, I hope to a pretty decent quality.

I have QuickTime Pro.  But it has so many options and codecs and filters, I get lost.

Any help on this or any other way to convert them, would be much appreciated.

    Thank you!

If it works out for you try mpeg streamclip (free program) 4

    I just tested an export by a 1920x1080p 29.97 FPS avc h264 (same codec as your 1280 x 720)

Ann Bens that suggested earlier for you in the other thread, so if it works please give him the Star 'responded'... like the points going for a dinner of lobster from adobe.

Here images... Anyway my export file ends up being type avi 2 720 x 480 24 fps progressive to 16:9 and he plays well in the traditional media...

You can export first when you are finished with the 'other' audio parameters what do you give... or experiment with the audio settings in streamclip... I just chose mp3 as it is not an issue with me... ... .the audio sounds fine.  See images for all the info...

MP4 file was 28meg, export avi is 94 meg... because mp4 is highly compressed...

  • Changing properties of the file during import to Premiere Pro

    Hello

Strange problem I encountered: images taken with my Canon 6 d fixed changes in 1920 x 1080 / 30 fps at 1080 x 720/25 fps when they are imported into Premiere Pro (CS6). My PP settings are: Digital SLR, 1080 p 30.  Can someone help me understand what is happening here I have triple checked the camera and PP. settings This problem is forcing me to produce videos SD that I shot in HD – a real frustration!  Thank you.

Thanks for your reply, but I just found out that the mistake was made before importing files in Premiere Pro. Initially, I had these files stored in the Mac Photos and did not know that by dragging to the desktop would change the file properties. To keep the original properties, you must go to file > export > export original unmodified.

  • Exports of hearing CC give "Header Error" in Premiere Pro CS6

    Hello

I finished the mix on a 15 track Audition CC project. It is very heavy, so I had to export all tracks separately to import them into Premiere Pro CS6 film project. That way I could also make further adjustments in individual tracks later directly on the first if necessary (since the mixture isn´t something we´re ever done with).

I ve exported to wav, 9600 Hz 32 bit (hearing doesn´t say whether or not it s floating point) and also 9600 Hz 24 bit wav. The originals on all tracks were eitther 9600 Hz 24 bit wav or wav 9600 Hz 32 bit (converted from 24bits aplly declipping and Standardization), except 2 tracks with music that had mp3, wav and m4a.

Then import the exported hearing files back in first all 15 tracks, including those that didn t have mp3 and m4a in it, gives me the message "cannot open the file due to an error header.

    Issues related to the:

    1. what could be bad?

    2. in the event that it isn´t a solution, what would be the best lossless formats to try and do import export in first?

    Thank you very much.

Hearing default filesystem is 32-bit floating point wav files at different sampling rate. Are all the audio files that you export from first hearing actually 96 K 32 bit? First is a video editing program audio all fits 48 k. Not sure if it can handle 32-bit floating-point, but 24 whole bits should be OK. Maybe it's a difference of rate/bit sample depth that is causing this problem so try export of hearing as 48K 24 bit and see if the first is happy with that. Something higher that should not be necessary for audio for video files.

  • Premiere Pro cs6 - video pane of the workspace remains empty when you try to view the imported files

    Hello

I am currently working in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. When I import my media into my workspace and drag it into the timeline, the preview area where you can review your cup video remains black. Double-click the imported file gives the same result. I was initially import files .jpg (about 300 KB of size for each) so I tried to import various other image formats - .png, .tiff, etc... I even imported a my scene movie file to determine if the problem was with my format of content. With video, the audio plays fine, but the video remains empty in the preview area. I tried rendering my workspace and change my initial parameters of the project, but to no avail. I went to my preferences for first and far as I know, everything seems fine.

I use the software on a HP Pavilion, Windows 7 intel core i7, 8 GB of ram with a 2 GB of 650 M from nvidia card. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Hello

Have you tried to change your Video Renderer? It would be under the project > project settings > general. Switch option only the Mercury playback engine software and see if it helps.

    Thank you

  • import the AE composition into Premiere Pro

I imported a couple of compositions from After Effects into Premiere Pro.  They are slide shows

On the Premiere Pro timeline, they are extremely show and not displaying several frames.

Are they always download/import or what I need to try again or do something else?

    Thanks in advance

You can render the AE comps in the timeline to allow normal playback. in the sequence menu, make effects outside.  its not that they are always download or import, his is a very complex AE Comp which can not be played in real time, or a model simple ae that first can not playback in real time because AE is still primarily a 32-bit program that pretends to be a 64-bit program itself will be neck... his tech seriously outdated and they try to solve this , but they have been promising that for a while already.

  • Import of images classified to Premiere Pro CS6

I'm trying to correct/color grade my clips. I sent it to Speedgrade by Premiere Pro (CS6) but after having rendered out as a DPX, and try resending to Premiere Pro (DPX image sequence), not all of the classified clips were there. (Clip is 04:40 min) but only 01:39 min is what was imported back to Premiere Pro.

I found occasionally that I tried to export and don't take that dialog box export thought I have tried only to export something highlighted, or if another setting for "selected area. I think you have run against something similar... or a box that has been verified that don't is not yet aware was there. As I try (for the first time in a year) export an EDL from PrPro to Sg I had to decipher something like three different places, both programs have tried to help me before I could get the EDL breath and images both imported in the same timeline of Sg.

As an alternative to DPX it is of course two different EDL processes... one where you export just a NOD and then after you have created your Sg project, go to the via media of the Sg Panel, drag it to the timeline, then the media group to navigate to the folder containing your clips, and then use the 'load from desktop' option to fill your timeline.

The others... export you the EDL and the order of the timeline and then put one on the new calendar of the Sg project, drag one on top. It takes a little more time to make the export of PrPro of images that are probably not necessary most of the time.

I have just set up the Forum an explanation how to do that with progressive pictures and avoid the hiccups, both programs can throw at you. The first of... If all your media in one folder-tree... is very fast & easy. EDL export is almost instantaneous, and clips of top loading just bango... now, I used to have problems to export by moments (made) a chronology of Sg. I don't know if an EDL process can work sending back to PrPro ranking, I think you would have to return on. But a lot of people who have done all the time without problems.

  • Any ideas? Premiere Pro CS6 crashing whenever I try to import clips!

    Hey everybody,

I'm relatively new to Premiere Pro CS6 (gradually switching to Final Cut), so forgive me if there's any details miss me. I have real problems with getting the app to work, unfortunately.

    Here's the problem:

I can create and save projects very well. Nothing is slow or appears bad. However, every time I want to import clips (in any parameter of project/sequence, or codec, as well as different types of clips from the camera), Premiere Pro instanty throws a message - immediately - to say:

«I'm sorry, that a serious error has occurred which requires Adobe Premiere Pro stop.» We will try to save your current project".

It is literally impossible around that, that I can tell. I tried all different types of clips, all the different import methods (for example drag / move, media browser, file > import), but nothing. It isn't even a matter of film - the same applies even if I just try to import images. Oddly, with grag and drop - method if it is a video clip, PP registers even how long the clip is, highlighting where the clip will insert - she normally would be - but then instantly crashes after abandonment and/or trying to read. This led to believe me (because I never saw a single visual image in Premiere Pro) there could be a graphic bug - potentially something wrong with my system.

For any help or suggestion would be received with gratitude. I have attached to the report of crash below and some features of my system.

    See you soon,.

PS just Gunna do a full update of my Mac OS X to bring it up to 10.8.3. I doubt that this will fix the problem, but it's worth a shot, and if no bed I'll let you all know.

    Hey everyone just updated:

I think I've solved the problem!

No idea what it was, but it would either have been:

    (a) restart my MacBook (unlikely!)

    (b) update the firmware from Apple

    (c) update the Apple Retina Display update

(d).. .the above all of that!

He actually started to work before you go on 10.8.3, so not associated with OS X.

In this case, my apologies for the long post - hope it helps everyone in the same situation in the future. Moral of the story: the Apple software update!

  • Why Premiere Pro CS6 will only be important to the mpeg format?

Hello, so I use Premiere Pro CS6 now for only a few months and when I imported (using "capture" or F5) and tested a few images a HDV camera using a miniDV Tape, I noticed that Premiere Pro would be to import the mpeg format. I looked up how to change this but couldn't find anything. So in short, I ask you if there is a way to change the import format so that whenever I have import from DV tape, it is not mpeg?

    Thank you!

.. .footage of a HDV camera...
.. .only import in mpeg format.

Capture HDV will always be mpeg.

whenever I have import from DV tape, it is not mpeg?

DV capture will be (pc) .avi or .mov (mac).

    Note:

Capture of a band, import a file based media.

    Capture and scanning

In addition, what is the problem with mpeg?

Why are what determined you to change?

  • CC Pro first and Premiere Pro CS6 family installed a reminder, but now all my Apps say "start the trial."

So, in order to have still, I also installed the first Pro CS6 Family, but during the installation of the family, I uninstalled Premiere Pro CS6 and kept still.  That was the direction I have taken according to the instructions from Adobe.  It was about 10 months ago.  All with Adobe CC and my downloaded apps have been working well.  Last week, I needed prepare a DVD and came across some problems with the assets that I'm importing.  This morning, I decided to try and import my calendar Pro directly into yet.  Still wouldn't let me import the chronology, I'm guessing that the chronology was first Pro CC 2014 was last updated, so I thought open it in Premiere Pro CS6 and import it like this.  I assumed that PP CS6 change somehow the file to adjust its parameters from CC 2014.  He would not, but this isn't my problem at the moment.

In my cloud Creative App Manager he told me that Premiere Pro CS6 needed an update.  So I clicked the button to update and when he did, that's what I have...

    Adobe CC Capture.JPG

All my Apps now read 'Start trial.'  I tried to uninstall Premiere Pro CS6, assuming that he has reinstalled the update, but it is nowhere on my computer to be found.  I can start at first Pro CC, but it's the dialog I get when I try to open a project CC...

    Premiere Pro CC Capture.JPG

When I click 'OK', it brings back me to the Welcome screen.

I don't have to re - install all my apps I do again?  It would be a big pain.

  • Premiere Pro CS6 falls down repeatedly

I use Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 in the school environment, with relatively limited users and I had it working for more than a year, but this week everythings gone to pot and the program runs is no longer on any of the 8 PCs

The program works well as an administrator, I tried to make users local administrators as a test and it still does not work. I also tried the local profiles rather than mandatory profiles, our students are normally on (appdata is saved locally)

    The error I get is:

Name of the failing application: Adobe first Pro.exe, version: 6.0.5.0, time stamp: 0x5211d7f5

Name of the failed module: Premiere.dll, version: 6.0.5.0, time stamp: 0x5211d7b7

Start screen appears fine, loads everything up, I get to the screen "new project, open a project, help", but as soon as I click on any button, even out, it gives me the error "sorry, a serious error has occurred that requires Adobe Premiere Pro to stop." We will try to save your current project"then crashes the program out completely.

There seems to be errors in the log files, adobe creates, I uninstalled and reinstalled and checked that the program is perfectly up-to-date. I tried to remove preferences (and the shift + alt thing) but without any result.

I also played with the permissions on various files, rename the cache files so that they are recreated etc. such as the SLStore file.

I can get it to load 1 in about 40 attempts by playing with changes, but the changes that I never seem to be permanent workaround. At one point, I thought I had found a workaround solution by removing the 'Adobe' appdata roaming folder, I got the program to load 3 times in a row what to do, but now that she won't fix. He made me completely baffled, because it worked perfectly fine before!

    Any advice?

He fixed, took the admin users ntuser.dat, exported the Adobe section and imported that into my mandatory profile.

No idea why it did not work when you use a local profile but I am not overly concerned about the research into that because it is only mandatory profile users who will use it.
