  A PDF with InDesign is just one PDF file like any other. If Acrobat can open it. Almost no circumstance you would change it in Acrobat.

  If you use Acrobat pro, build your .pdf file, and then save it as (french version):

  Whenever I open a file from here (network) and change these files, I read-only. I know what was already and issue an Acrobat X and later versions, but now, it is a Cloud Computing service as well and still have the problem of network.

  We use a lot of docs and I can not sure their first locally in order to safe/edit etc.

  I also don't want to safe them under a different name and rename them later. Take too long.

  Video integrated in the file PDF can not be extracted & it won't even get exported to file Power point.

  You must have the original video file to incorporate into the Power Point file.

  OK, Acrobat is not suitable. It is not technically suitable for the server; also no license. It doesn't have a command line, only OLE user interface.

  There are Acrobat PDF library, allowing development in C/C++. But I think that there is no function to compare. You will need to implement one yourself, which is a probably a lot of work. What kind of comparison do you want? If you just want to know if the files have changed at all you can use all the checksums without any API. Or are you looking for any Visual change? Or text change...?

  In the PDF file, click View > Navigation panel > Pages

  I had to reset panels to view the Pages again.

  I often have to do a document with many pages of custom size in Indesign. The 'report' Indesign generates does not provide that a list of page sizes only the size of the original document.   Kasyan Servetsky tilts a lot of useful scripts on his website.

  One is to check all the pages in an Indesign document have same size.jsx by Hans-Gerd Classen.

  It is open and close all the InDesign files in a folder that you select, and will write a report in text format in the event that the script detects a file with different page sizes. The report file is written to the text file in the same folder listing page of the InDesign checked documents sizes:

  A small defect, that can be fixed in the code, is that if you cancel the Selection of a folder dialog box, the script returns an error. To change this simply insert an extra line of code after:
