Use of data while you sleep at night

Ill be sleep at night and wake up with a text saying I used data while he slept. I've got data unlimited, so it is a problem for me. I close my apps when all the time throughout the day and especially at night. I am connected to the Internet and considering all applications are closed that he shouldn't have to data. Ive already used 90% of my data and I have ten days he remains until Bill again.

SO while he slept connected to Internet with NO open apps I use my data...

If this text from your carrier, it does necessarily mean that data are used as you sleep. This may mean that the company will update its system at midnight (or another time), and then sends the message.

"Closing" applications from the recent state bar has no effect on a large part of what whatsoever (unless the application does not work correctly). Generally, there is no reason to waste your time doing this.

Check the settings > General > background App refresh and turn it off for all the apps you don't think you need to do the update when you are not using the. Disable notifications for the applications that you really need not notifications use data.

Make sure you're phone is plugged into the night. If you have it turned on but not plugged in, the phone will return to cellular data once the screen goes to sleep.

  • Z5 Premium battery drain while you sleep

    Hello

I was the performance of battery loging for awhile, and I noticed that there seems to be little difference between the drain when using and the drain while you sleep.

Last night my battery fell over 50% to 100% without any [major] at the time of the screen. The phone has been completely disconnected from all radio interfaces and everything should have been sleeping.

I have a white list to alow my smartwatch 3 to work when the phone is asleep, but these are things like the Google services.

The stats of the battery for the period when the battery went down shows.

    10% Android system,
    Operating system Android 7%
    Watch cell 3%
    Screen 3%
    Phone idle 2%
    Media server % 1.

I don't really code that much more, but if this where a system I was debugging, I would be suspicious that Android and Android OS systems use such a big chunk of power while the system should be asleep and waiting to be activated by the interface remains alone, the connection of the cellar!

Any thoughts on this [official or not?]

  • Mid-2010 MBP loses battery power while you sleep

Hi everyone, I have replaced my MBP unibody mid-2010 with a spare battery and the laptop battery lost its battery power very quickly, during normal use and while you sleep. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a different battery, and the same problems continue to occur, so I suspect that something is wrong with my computer at this point.

Above all, I had a second replacement battery installed when I wiped my computer clean and made a new fresh installation of El Capitan and the problem persists. The drain of the battery during sleep is even worse, it goes 100% to near depletion in a few hours.

I have read several threads on these issues but can't seem to find the one that matches my computer behavior or specific settings. I'd love some help troubleshooting this! Can someone kindly walk through diagnostics on this for me please? FYI I already have:

    (1) the drive repaired/checked permissions

    (2) reset the NVRAM

    (3) reset SMC

Thank you all and happy new year!

First, not all replacement batteries are at the height for use on portable Macs what OWC at macsales.com has batteries that are. The other thing is in what regards the battery life is what you do. As these effects for how long you can run on battery power only.  Ranging from light to moderate to heavy use. If you have things like an anti virus program on the MBP. It will run in the background. And to a certain extent, even in standby mode. That will exhaust the battery. Mac do not need anti virus programs. The amount of programs running in the background is all to one degree or another effect battery life.

  • How can I find what is access to the Internet on the iPad (which runs 4 times a day) and using my data while traveling plan? Thank you

My iPad access the internet 4 times per day (9 am/pm and 3 am/pm) and I need to know what it is and fix it as it uses all my data plan when you travel. Thank you

A possibility: go to settings > cell phone and scroll down to "cell using data for. Under each name of app, it will show the amount of data used by this application since the last reset. You can reset the statistics at any time by scrolling all the way to the bottom of this screen and tapping reset statistics.

  • How much battery is used while you sleep?

    Laptop Toshiba, Win7.

Unofficial tests on a Lenovo ThinkPad T61p (Windows 7) d MacBook

    http://Lifehacker.com/5526542/how-much-battery-life-does-sleep-mode-really-drain

FYI - Windows Vista power management

Standby mode consumes battery power, although much less than normal on the State. If the computer is in "sleep" while being powered by the battery and the battery charge runs out, the computer turns completely off and lose the open programs and documents in memory. In this case, any changes to documents which were not yet recorded on the disc would be lost.

Hybrid sleep provides an extra measure of convenience. If the battery of the computer becomes completely discharged when the computer is in hybrid sleep mode, the state saved in the computer's memory will be lost, but Windows will be able to recover the state saved from HDD - although a little more slowly.

  • While you sleep, how the Droid says "full load" status once the loading is done?

    Hello world

During the load, assuming that I'm not using it for other reasons at the moment, my Droid goes to sleep.  Thus, although it may flash a small green light next to the Power/Lock button if incoming is a message waiting for me, or show a red light it when the battery becomes weak, the droid status 'full charge' somehow like that once the loading is done and if so, how?

Please note that, Yes, I'm aware that if I use it, the battery indicator screen will be completely green when it is fully charged.  However, I wonder when the Droid is asleep, because I see that the indicator unless I pressed the Power/Lock button to wake up.

    Thank you very much!

    Sincerely,

    Bram Weiser

Yes it is, but look for.  When you plug it in to charge, you will see a white light where you connect the power cord on the phone.  At full load that the light goes off.  As I said, you'll have to look at the Droid.

  • HP split 13-m110dx Tablet window logo light remains lit while you sleep.

When I split the tablet of the keyboard, the lego window lights. Even if the Tablet is sleeping. There was a discharge of the battery of 26% in an hour and he was asleep. From time to time the screen would come back and go back asleep. I have the hp split 13-m110dx x 2.

Hi @mikjben, welcome to the Forums of HP. I understand that your Windows button remains lit when detached, even in mode "Eve".

Try the configuration in hibernation, to see if the button turns off then: Manage the power (Windows 8) Options

If this is not the case, go through power options and see if there is a specific entry for the Windows button. Let me know what you come up with.

  • Pavilion g6t locked up, while you sleep, when you close the lid, or try to power off

My Pavilion g6t crashes when the screen turns off, or computer goes to sleep, also is not out with stop-power function.  Power light stays on, only is to restart the computer to completely turn off with power button / stop, and then re login.   This happened just after a HP recommended Refresh, any ideas?

I went back to the HP driver downloads support and ran an another Bios Update.

Alto, the computer began to work properly, the screen will be lite to the top of the keyboard.

Once asleep, wakes you up by button tapping power and computer stops correctly.

HP/Microsoft should seek to solve the problem of no compatibility with Bios level and

    other 'stuff' in the computer.

    Thank you

  • T430 heating while in sleep

    Hey guys,.

I am a new user of Lenovo, come buy my T430 this week.

After you install all the software that I need on my laptop, I closed (sleeping) and put it in my bag back. I needed only after 2 days. When I hit the bag, it was already hot outside, I opened it and my Lenovo raged... I turned on my computer, the battery is down to 13%, from 100 percent (2 days ago), which is kind of funny that he was asleep, I would have suggested he use about 10 to 15 percent in two days.

    my questions are:

    1. is the heating thing normal while you sleep? What could have caused the problem?

2 is it possible that certain parts of the computer has been damaged in such a warm atmosphere? (Note that I kept it in a closed bag)

a possible solution to the question 1: I ran a command prompt, typed in the code that tells me what is allowed out my computer. noticed that the mouse Logitec external and giganet Intel networks have been allowed, so I disabled them both. It was probably the mouse as it was in the same bag, I guess it was moving in the bag and wake up the computer?

Thank you in advance for your help!

No, it is not normal. You must set "Timer Wake with battery operation" to "Disabled" in the Bios. It can be found in the Config-> Power, first setting.

It seems that you escaped without consequences for the moment. Be more careful, turn off the mouse when you're not using it.

My daughter has an air of ipad and iphone 6 mounted on a tripod. She would like to use his phone to photograph/video while you watch on his ipad (in real time)... is it possible? If so, what adapters or cables are needed?

    Hello!

Unfortunately, this feature is only available with the GoPro cameras.

And Yes, if all cables already existing for these purposes, it would be kind of a pain to take pictures and do not shake the camera accidentally. Maybe, VSCO camera makers will make such feature in some time in the future. This idea is excellent and innovative. Maybe even Apple will listen to users and make their new iOS 10.

  • JDeveloper 12.1.2 has a problem with links when you use the data bean control

    Build JDEVADF_12.1.2.0.0_GENERIC_130608.2330.6668

The problem that I am facing is:

I used the data bean control to create our user interface. After that I dragged my jsff page data control, links have been created.

I opened the XML pagedef to my page. On the Bindings tab and executable, I added a few links more by clicking on the Green plus sign. After I saved my changes, I noticed that some other links have been replaced by a link to the different executable files.

This behavior occurs almost everytime I have edit links. Does anyone else see this problem?

It looks like another instance of the bug described in https://java.net/jira/browse/ADFEMG-156

This bug is fixed in 12.1.3. If you need the fix in 12.1.2 you should open a SR with support.oracle.com and ask a backport.

  • No advantage to the use of recovery logs to sleep when you use ARK ASYNC?

As far as I know, there is not. If I was using LGWR, then the REDO stream to write their continuous, so data loss potential lowering.

If I understand correctly, when you use ARK ASYNC, REDO is transmitted in the form of a journal of the archives when a log switch occurs (ARCn a written process archive log destination ofn log_archive_dest_ standby), and do it AGAIN is applied directly to the waiting.

In summary, I plan on the MAX PERFORMANCE with ARCH ASYNC configuration, and I don't see any object using recovery logs watches over the physics of the day before. Is this correct?

In summary, I plan on the MAX PERFORMANCE with ARCH ASYNC configuration, and I don't see any object using recovery logs watches over the physics of the day before. Is this correct?

If you use log_archive_dest_2 as "ARCH ASYNC" useless to create standby redo logfiles. Transferred data regarding the part 'ARCHIVES '.

If you still want to avoid lost data when you plan to leave for log_archive_dest_2 such as "LGWR ASYNC" then you have to create the standby redo logfile, data is transferred in terms of REDO

    What I usually do is:
    1. create a new variable - based on the schema for your output XML doc.
    2. make a "copy" - mapping your first field of the doc XML source (using the syntax that selects the member based on the active index-meter) - to the created above the output of the new variable field. I use the method described in section 3.15.3.1 of the 10.1.3.1 BPEL Dev Guide - using a rear x-path query (see below). But if your syntax for the part 'from' works - that's fine - just use it.
3 operations of 'copy' additional as needed for your other domains (like number 2 above).
    4. make an "append" - mapping the repetitive element (of the new variable) on the left in the parent of the repetitive element (the output variable) on the right.

Your output variable now shouldn't be crushed every time - since you would use a statement append adds to it.

So using your example below - you would have something like this:

    ...

... (additional copies for items more...)

    Hope that helps.
