Use of OC main high swap Thread

Hi all!
First of all, I hope this is the right forum to post, because my problem is with Weblogic + Oracle Service Bus using Jrockit
(WLS 10.3.6 + OSB 11.1.1.6 + JRocikt R28.2.4 + 6.2 CentOs 64-bit)

Then I had this problem when the system often becomes very slow for awhile. Top/iotop using, I found that some threads use high IO and swap, specifically, this:

* "(OC Main Thread)" id = 3 idx = 0xc tid = 35994 prio = 5 alive, natively, demon * "

And I used regular breaks GC - around 10 sec and sometimes the 30secs

Here are additional JVM parameters for starting the server:
-Xms3072m-Xmx3072m-Xns128m - Xgc: pausetime - Xpausetarget = 250 ms - osb - Xmanagement:ssl = false, authenticate = false = Djava.rmi.server.hostname, autodiscovery = true, port = 7099, rmiserver.port = 7099 - XX: + UseCallProfiling

Suggestions and ideas would be appreciated

Hello

You can change these options.

-Xns128m - Xgc: pausetime - Xpausetarget = 250 ms

You set the new size of only 128 m 3 GB.

I suggest you keep at least 1.25 GB and see the difference.

Kind regards
Kal

    When I play a cd/dvd, or extract the contents of cd for laptop, or whatever it is which includes the use of the D: drive, the sound is all distorted and crunchy and slows down. also, the CPU usage is very high, and it won't let me write anything on disks.

    so is that what someone had the same problem? does anyone know if a new hard drive would solve the problem on my laptop? and if not does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks for any help, dave.

    Hello

    Equium A100 is very similar to the Satellite A100. So maybe it's really a problem even as described in the other thread.

    But listen David, before you send the laptop and want to replace the HDD try first to reinstall the OS from the recovery CD!

    Try everything first format the whole HARD drive, erase the partitions and reinstall the OS.

    If this does not help, it would be wise to check, if the same thing would happen with the new HARD drive!

    Please help understand if it is a question.

    What you can do, is leave JRockit decide what garbage collection operation to use.

    With - Xgc: gencon, you choose a static garbage collector, JRockit provides diagrams Dynamics collector, that is,.
    When you want to optimize for breaks, you can use - Xgc: pausetime (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E15289_01/doc.40/e15062/optionx.htm#i1011879)
    and set a goal for the pausetime, for example, XpauseTarget-= 200ms (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E15289_01/doc.40/e15062/optionx.htm#i1011852)

    With "JRockit is trying to use as much memory as possible, that is, not to waste its resources", I mean that you attach (with Xms - and - Xmx) a
    the amount of memory on the heap. When you set a XXgcTrigger - to 20%, you report JRockit to 80% of the segment of memory to run a collection. In this case
    You can leave the bunch-use up to 90% (and still be sure), rather than start a collection at 80%.

  • Volume control causes trouble high priority thread

    A few weeks ago, when I was finishing my "Flix" app and adjust the priorities of the threads, I noticed that the wire audio high priority interfered with the volume buttons of the PlayBook. Specifically, it could support you on a volume button and nothing would happen, at least not for a second or two. It was as if the priority of the audio thread was so high that it prevented the OS to respond to the pressure on the hardware button to the user.

    This week, the behavior is quite different: the volume controls work fine, but as soon as you press on one of them, the audio wire starts to fight, and the audio gets all the "poppy/static ' y '.

    The really strange thing is that even though the notification of change of volume disappears from the screen, the sound remains ' poppy/static ' y ', as if the volume permanently change event interferes with the audio wire.

    I was wondering if the OS was lowering the priority of the thread on an event of volume change, but I think I have excluded that... when I ask the audio thread for its priority, remains at 63 before and after the events of volume change.

    So it is obviously very confusing... How the hell a single volume change event could interfere with the audio thread of the application until the end of the execution of the application? (Even if the application gets a "break" due to need extra buffer audio and video, as soon as the audio continues, it is always static'y)

    The other thing that may or may not be related, it's that last week my PlayBook prompted me that there is an update of the OS.  The strange thing is that the version of the update seems to be exactly the same as the version of the operating system I had, and it was only 3 MB. I can't help but wonder if this is somehow related to the change of behavior that I see.

    Any help would be most appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Daniel

    I finally understood how to prevent the volume control to cause audio problems.

    Here's the long answer:

    -My app plays WAV files back to back. There was a slight "couture" in the audio that I tried to get rid of.

    -A point I tried removed calls to snd_pcm_open and snd_mixer_open whenever a WAV file has been played, thinking that maybe something to do with the small gap in the audio.

    -I didn't know at the time, but I think it's when editing of the volume begun resulting in distortions on the audio.

    -Distortions are prevented by listening to events of volume change, and when it is received, ensure what I call snd_pcm_open and snd_mixer_open to the next WAV file playback.

  • Using package firmware level higher than the current version of UCSM?

    It's probably been asked before, but I couldn't find an answer.

    Can I download and use a blade firmware that is greater than the UCSM version?  For example, my UCSM is at version 2.2 (3d), but I want to install a package of 2.2(5b) blade firmware.

    Is this supported without first UCSM upgrading and interconnection of fabric?

    Hey, Walt,

    It is not supported so that your blades at a higher level than your infrastructure, so firmware you want to upgrade the UCSM/FI/IOM until you upgrade the blades. Here are some useful documents:

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/TD/docs/unified_computing/UCS/SW/firmware-m...

    You can use this cross reference your HW and SW to ensure they are compatible with one another:

  • AppStats using onGetAppStats() in main.asc

    Hello

    I'm currently collecting of appstats by using this code in main.asc.

    What's not here?

    nc_poll = new NetConnection();

    nc_poll. Connect ("rtmp://localhost:1111 / admin admin", "","a1s2d3f4");

    nc_poll. Call ("getAppStats", new onGetAppStats(), "vod");

    function onGetAppStats()

    {

    this.onResult = function (info)

    {

    trace ("POOJA 1111");

    outputBox.text = "Info for '+ appName.text +' has returned:" + newline;

    trace ("POOJA 2222");

    printObj (info, outputBox);

    }

    }

    function printObj (obj, destination)

    {

    trace ("POOJA 3333");

    (var prop in obj)

    {

    destination. Text += "\t";

    destination. Text += prop '=' + obj [prop] + newline;

    If (typeof (obj [prop]) is' objects ' ")

    {

    trace ("POOJA 4444");

    printObj (obj [prop], destination);

    }

    }

    }

    }

    Thank you

    You always call getAppStats on the connection without being sure that the connection is established. Call a method outside onConnect in response to the onStatus event.

  • A component can use dataservice a main of the application?

    I have several components that require the same dataservice and collection arraycollection to populate a control on each component.
    Here's how my dataservice and arrayCollection collection are declared and populated
    private var ds:DataService;
    collection of private var items: ArrayCollection;
    private var point: ItemTable.

    items = new ArrayCollection collection;
    DS = new DataService ("someDS");
    DS. Fill (items);
    Item = new ItemTable;

    I would like to have this in my main application and then let my components to use. How can I call this dataservice and collection arraycollection of my main app for my components?

    I think that using parentDocument.items, etc. or Application.aplication.items you could do that, but I wonder if the fact that they are private may prevent access. They might have to be public.

    Is there an internal tool (not a third-party tool or app, I don't trust those) that I can use

    This cache is related to iCloud. A simple solution is located in this section:

  • How is it possible to copy a Web page that doesn't let me highlight, i.e. use the features main c control?

    How can I take a picture on a Web page that don't let me use the control C copy command? In other words, on this particular website, I try to highlight a passage I want to register and put in a document, but the highlighting will not work. I asked on this subject, and they simply said that they did not have this facility, but I think that the issue is to protect their copyrighted material. I know there is a way to take a picture of the page, and then I can use my photo editing software to crop and enlarge.

    It is an online publication which, AFAIK, is not in a pdf format. Finally, I found that this really works on my laptop was to hold down the Fn (function) key and press control and print screen at the same time. Which records an image of the page in a temporary storage. I can then use Ctrl-V to paste a picture of the page into a word-processing document. Seems to work very well. And I can use scale font size on the bottom of my Microsoft Word page to enlarge for better readability.

  • How to enable remote workers to use connection internet main office

    Hi all

    I just set up our new 1802 as our internet firewall and a VPN server easy and everthing works fine. The only problem is that connected VPN Clients cannot access the internet. It is a policy of companys that all traffic from remote users must be encrypted and send them to the central part, so split tunneling isn't? t an option.

    I added the addresses IP of SDM_Pool of remote to the NAT ACL and reasons workers that the ACL is used by some packages that generates my "IBM Sametime", and this traffic can be seen in the ip nat translation. But the destination in this packet is a local ip (172.16.17.x) network so that in the case of EIB a package that is not coordinated.

    My question is, what happens to packets encrypted once they are decrypted in the esayVPN Server (what are the dest a source ip) and how to configure my router NAT packets to the IFs - external IP, because it isn? t incoming traffic on the inside, that is configured as ip nat inside.

    Thanks for your suggestions.
