Use of the CDC on a view

Is it possible to use the CDC to monitor multiple tables in a view? I have a list of 6 tables that need to be monitored for the modification of related data. A change can occur in one of these tables.

Unfortunately, we cannot use views as data source for CDC with Logminer. The
reason is that in CDC with Logminer, Oracle DB stores the changes made to the
table monitored in the redo log. Then we can use logminer to find such changes in
the redo log and make it available for ODI. However Oracle DB will never store
any change of views and, consequently, ODI has no way to find all changes made
for a relational view. So we cannot use views as a source of data for DCC.

    I can view the site without any problems, so I don't think it's to oppose the version of Firefox. This forum is picking up your User Agent string and that seems to be correct - something which causes problems on some sites when it is incorrect.

    You can solve it using only not the OS X version 10.6, Apple Safari here on out!

  • How to disable the built-in PDF Viewer and use another Viewer at all times?

    How to disable the built-in PDF Viewer and use Adobe Reader to view the PDF files, without having to set this preference, whenever I open Firefox? The default setting to "Use Adobe Acrobat (in Firefox)". Thank you.

    It's strange. The integrated Viewer - Viewer by default - is described by the expression 'Preview in Firefox' and you will have changed to "Use Adobe Acrobat (in Firefox)".

    Well... you or an add-on or another program on your system must be changed.

    What happens if you disable the Adobe Acrobat plugin (not the extension to create a PDF file, leave it active). Here's how you can try this:

    Open the page modules using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

    In the left column, click on Plugins. On the right side, find "Adobe Acrobat" and change the permission 'never enable '.

    Then in the Options page, Applications Panel, change your preference for "Portable Document Format (PDF)" to "Always ask" so you get the dialog box to download instead of the PDF, open in a tab.

    It sticks?

  • [ADF, JDev12.1.3] LOV entry: is it possible to change the criteria to view / query to use before the opening of the popup?

    Hallo,

    I would like to know if it is possible to change the criteria for the view or the query used by an LOV entry before the opening of the pop-up window (on the click the icon in the search).

    Thank you

    Federico

    You can change the implicit vc used by the LOV, overwriting the popuplistener and a different VC as

    {} public void onLauchLov (LaunchPopupEvent launchPopupEvent)

    String submittedValue = (String) launchPopupEvent.getSubmittedValue ();

    run the queries only if value is submitted

    If (submittedValue! = null & submittedValue.length () > 0) {}

    RichInputListOfValues lovComp = launchPopupEvent.getComponent ((RichInputListOfValues));

    BindingContext bindingCtx = BindingContext.getCurrent ();

    BindingContainer links = bindingCtx.getCurrentBindingsEntry ();

    JUCtrlListBinding lov = bindings.get ("JobId") (JUCtrlListBinding);

    VCM ViewCriteriaManager = lov.getListIterBinding () .getViewObject () .getViewCriteriaManager ();

    ensure that the criteria of display is disabled

    vcm.removeViewCriteria (ViewCriteriaManager.IMPLICIT_VIEW_CRITERIA_NAME);

    Create a new view of the criteria of

    ViewCriteria vc = new ViewCriteria (lov.getListIterBinding () .getViewObject ());

    Use the name of the default view criteria

    '__DefaultViewCriteria__ '.

    vc.setName (ViewCriteriaManager.IMPLICIT_VIEW_CRITERIA_NAME);

    create a display for all queryable attributes criteria

    VCR ViewCriteriaRow = new ViewCriteriaRow (vc);

    for this example, I put the query filter for 60 DepartmentId.

    You can determine when running in reading to a managed bean

    or the link layer

    vcr.setAttribute ("JobId", submittedValue + "%");

    Note also that the line of view criteria consists of all attributes

    who belong to the view list LOV object, which means that you can

    filter on multiple attributes

    vc.addRow (vcr);

    lov.getListIterBinding () .getViewObject () .applyViewCriteria (vc);

    }

    }

  • Hide a column that is used in the custom view.

    Hello! I would like to know if there is a way to do the following: I have a vision based on a table (Configuration Manager - views).  I've specified to display 4 columns appears in the view, so that we can change the columns without going into the database.  In the entry 'default display Expression' under the information tab of the view, I've specified how these columns should be displayed on the user interface. My problem: I don't want the fourth column in the UI at all, but I want this column to be always accessible by administrators via the view!  It is possible to specify somehow NOT to display this column, but always use it in the view? Thanks for the suggestions! Anya

    I'm not aware of any problem with the many points of view; Maybe, except for the handling potential/ease of use of Config Mgr if you really have a lot of them (regardless of the table). If there is no performance overhead, it must be processed by the database itself, and it will be very minimal.

    Terminology of the AAU for views is unfortunately not very consistent with one of the database. In the database, a view is just a subselect lines or columns in the table that could be used in some cases (for example, a user is granted to read data from a view, but not directly of a table) of use. UCM, a view is (also) used to enter data, which is the ability of a Table does not have.

  • Create a custom view that will be used to the discoverer

    Hello world

    I would like to create a view, which can be used in discoverer.
    I am new to Oracle and I was wondering if
    (1) the values hard-coded in the WHERE clause can be transformed into variables
    (2) if (1) is true, can the parms trip discoverer / the values of the variables for the sql?

    SQL statement is below,

    TX for any assistance, Sandra

    SELECT
    S1.ID
    S1.NAME
    SA1. ACADEMIC_PERIOD
    SA1. STUDENT_ATTRIBUTE
    IJ. STUDENT_ATTRIBUTE
    OF STUDENT_ATTRIBUTE SA1
    JOIN IN-HOUSE STUDENT S1
    ON SA1. PERSON_UID = S1. PERSON_UID
    JOIN IN-HOUSE
    (
    SELECT
    SA2. ACADEMIC_PERIOD
    SA2. PERSON_UID
    SA2. STUDENT_ATTRIBUTE
    OF STUDENT_ATTRIBUTE SA2
    WHERE SA2. ACADEMIC_PERIOD = '200920' AND
    SA2. STUDENT_ATTRIBUTE = "M4".
    ) IJ
    ON SA1. PERSON_UID = IJ. PERSON_UID
    WHERE SA1. ACADEMIC_PERIOD = '200920' AND
    S1. ACADEMIC_PERIOD = '200920' AND
    SA1. STUDENT_ATTRIBUTE = "SD".
    ORDER BY S1.NAME

    Well, all the explorers is a front end to set an investigation. Discoverer will build a SQL statement in the definition of workbook and run this SQL statement. You can configure the settings of a discoverer workbook to manipulate these variables of selection that would be variable from run to run. A parameter can be defined as optional, so that if no value is entered for the parameter, it is ignored when you perform data selection in the execution of SQL. You can import a view as a record in a business district of discoverer. You can also create a custom, folder where you manually enter the SQL statement that you want to use from the folder. The advantage of a custom folder, it's that you have create anything in the actual Oracle database, otherwise you might feel you need to do. My theory is less you fiddle with the database Oracle, better you will be. Others may disagree with that.

  • Allowing the CDC does not: mapping of CT

    Hi guys,.

    We use mappings of CT for DCC. But I'm running into some limits:

    1. once I enabled CDC on a source table (for Oracle 10.1), I find that the CDC Start Menu command does not work on the views and tables (without a Unique key). (We use trigger according to CDC)

    Is this true?

    Is there a solution? We have several views are sources of Oracle Apps R12 to fill the staging tables as well as tables that do not have unique keys.

    Thank you.

    Hello

    Yes... needs tables with the keys to the less defined in OWB.

    You can set OWB keys, they do not need to be deployed in the system... just metadata indicating CDC infrastructure what are the columns of the unique identification for the lines.

    Can also simply copy - paste the definition of the view to the node of the table.

  • Firefox Add-on legal to use in the United States?

    for example, flash video downloader, if I use this Add - on download flash video on the web is it legal or illegal? Thank you

    That depends on where and how use you it. For the most part, most of the sites have Terms of Service (TOS) that allow users to view the audio Web sites / video files online, but not to record or distribute these files. So, technically, add-ons like this are used for illegal purposes - it is considered as "file sharing." Read the terms of USE for the Web sites that you use and let your conscience be your guide as to what is good or bad.

  • Is there an add-on that has the page with a user interface, just the content. Same view F11, but in a minimized state

    I use the always on the top of the page Add on and minimizes a window for watching videos while doing other things.
    But the Web bar and the tab bar allows plenty of space, so I was wondering if someone knows a plugin that will hide all the UI and simply let the content, something like view full-screen, presing F11, but in a reduced state.

    Thank you

    Try to use this extension.
    https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/custom-geometry/

    When you set up this extension, you will need to play with the Options through the add-on Manager tab and adjust the width, height, left and Top according to your needs. If you do not have a huge super resolution monitor default settings in CG will place the Firefox window on the right side of the screen.

    Once you get all of these parameters, move the toolbar toolbar button. When you press F11 this window will go into mode full screen expanded, then move the slider to the top of the screen to reveal the toolbars and click on the custom button geometry to restore your custom window size and position. Then this window snap into place and the toolbars will hide again. YMMV

    Note: Custom geometry has never been [IMO] adequate updated for Firefox 4 and the drop-down toolbar button does not work and adds it to the width of the toolbar button.

    Recently upgraded to El Capitan, I had that problem for Mail stop unexpectedly when I saw some posts.  I followed the steps and was able to remove the trouble messages.   Now I can't restore the mail window message viewer component.  When I try to catch the separator bar to go back to the left, only half of the small arrow icon and line appears, and it cannot be moved.   Can open the message by double clicking a message viewer.

    Hi there, alicefrompa!

    Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. From your post, I understand that you do not see the Message Viewer box which allows you to read your e-mails; only see you the Inbox that includes a brief overview of the message and are unable to restore access using the separator bars. I have had this happen to my own Mail app and am happy to let you know how I could fix!

    You are really on the right track - you want to roll your mouse over the divider between the Inbox and sections Message Viewer (which should now be on the extreme right edge of your mail window) and drag it to the left.  When you click on the receipt/Message Viewer box, the cursor turns into a line continuous black with a single arrow pointing to the left. When you see the cursor change, click with the left button of the mouse and (while holding down the mouse button in) drag the combination line / arrow to the left. You may need to drag a little further than before to get it. I had to hang mine almost completely in the middle of my Mail app before the display of the message box appeared.

    From there, you should be able to adjust the boxes to your widths you want as expected.

    If you are still not able to get the display of the messages visible after have try this, here are a few more things that you can do.

    1. Press command + O on your keyboard.
    2. Exit the Mail application, and then press on and hold the SHIFT key on your keyboard while reopening.
    3. Restart your Mac by selecting the menu  Apple in the upper right of your screen restart from the menu drop down.

    See you soon!
