User controls

OK, I myself as an administrator on the computer, and my 2 children older than other users.  However, I put the school night time on the computer...  BUT when he says that they will be CONNECTED OFF in x minutes, it actually does NOT, connect them, but just their window closes and leaves ALL their running programs.  It simply returns to the user menu, watch them as connected, but when you try to log in it shows the opinion of time limits.

The PROBLEM is that when I try to access my user later, the computer is running slow b/c they're still all their _, games, internet and running orders.  I have to go to user accounts, go time, change the time parameters for the right, then disconnect my user account, log in and then shut them properly all their stuff and REALLY log of real numbers...  Then log on my own account so I can work.  I wish I could just disconnect them (as an Admin user) in the main menu of the user, without having to do all that _____.  (Which I can also go back on and re - change deadlines AGAIN, whereas they are put at the right time.)  I don't want to keep deadlines in place.

  • loop of two producers for quick DAQmx and the user controls?

    Hello

Sorry if my question is maybe a bit too general (I don't have a VI implementation yet).

I think about the solutions for a Structure of producer-consumer with event loop in the part of the producer.

So far, if I had to do a project with DAQ, data analysis, data recording and enter the user controls, I've followed usually this kind of approach:

I used the producer part to capture interactions with the user, and I also had a state machine in the part of the producer, with registry change. I also buy (any faster then 10ms) DAQmx device data in the part of the timeout of the structure of the event in the loop of the producer. I have several consumer loops down, such as data analysis, data recording, etc... I send the data measured in a cluster with the enumerations of the State of the loop from producer to consumer with queue loop.

I'm not happy with my approach for the following reasons:

    1,

If I need device acqure faster DAQmx data that the operating system clock can handle (like 1 MHz), so I can't put it in the part of time out of the structure of the event of the producer loop, because here I can go through the while loop with minimum 1 ms.

    2,

If I put this part DAQ in a loop for quick consumption, it is not admissible for orders from the QUEUE line after that it starts to run (assuming that I use the standard structure of producer-consumer, so consumer loop every time iterates once, when a package comes from the Dequeue).

Then say, how can I control a young (timed by DAQmx device internal clock) loop of data acquisition of the structure of the producer of the event loop? As loop DAQ to start, stop, restart, etc...

Thank you very much for the advice!

You can certainly have several loops of producer.  Have a User Interface, loop driven events to send commands and a separate data acquisition loop to send data are not a problem.  Each loop has a separate queue. (You might be able to make it work with a single, but using two queues avoids many problems).  Often, I used a system of three loops long before that everyone was talking about calling it a producer/consumer.

The most interesting newspapers are usually the Application and the system.

Some newspapers such as security and Internet Explorer may be completely empty or have just a few items.  The default settings for XP wants do not connect all this activity, unless you need to solve a problem in these areas.  If you enable logging for them the papers fill up quickly and could adversely affect the performance of your system with all the extras (often unnecessary) activity.

If you have Microsoft Office installed, it has its own newspapers, and they can be empty or occasional boring activity very little or, if there is no problem with your desktop applications.  It's normal.

Not every event is a problem, some are informational messages that things work very well, and some are warnings.

However, no event should defy reasonable explanation.

Each event is sorted by Date and time.  Errors will be red Xs, warnings will have yellow! s. information messages have white are.  Not every error or warning event means that there is a serious question.   Some are excusable at boot time when Windows starts.  Try to find only the events to date
and the time around your problem.

If you double-click on an event, it will open a window of properties with more information.  On the right are black up and down arrow keys to scroll through the open events. The third button that looks like two overlapping pages is used to copy the details of the event in your Windows Clipboard.

When you find an interesting event that occurred at the time of your question, click on the third button at the top and arrows to copy the details and then you can paste the details (right click, paste or CTRL-V) the text in detail here for analysis.  Remove personal information from your information
After having stuck if you are forced to do so.

If you paste an event, it will look something like this annoying system startup event:

Maybe someday the dialog box 'ask a question' forums XP will ask these questions automatically when a new thread is started so I don't have to ask every time.  It might even be possible to solve a problem in a single response when enough information is provided.

    1. What is the exact error message?

I suggest you try the steps mentioned below and check if it helps:

Step 1: scan SFC run on the computer to ensure that the system files are intact:

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7

  • Updated mapping of user names in C:\Users Control Panel user accounts.

    Hello
Windows Vista Edition Home Premium SP2. I'm trying to match user accounts in Control Panel with those listed in C:\Users\(name-of-user).
I need to do this on a new computer, so I can network with existing computers.
On my 3 computers existing, somehow my user accounts in Control Panel do not match the underlying names in C:\Users but I all do not match the same way on all computers and am able to share with them. For example, I have a user account named "ComputerAdmin" in the control panel that is the username 'Gift' which can be found in the C:\Users.I to add this fourth computer and match all names in C:\Users then they are the same on all computers, and I want to match user accounts in Control Panel so that they are all the same on all computers , and finally, I want to synchronize the C:\Users to user accounts in Control Panel on this fourth computer so that it will be in the network.
I did this once before with the help and it was not too difficult to do, I just forgot how I did it. What is the best way to accomplish this task? All computers are running Vista. TIA
    Don

I don't think it's your problem. If you have a user account password 1234 on one computer Bob and Bob password 1234 on another computer, properly configured firewall and actions put in place properly, sharing will be flawless. I answered your question above several times and I'm afraid that I don't know how to make it more clear. I am sympathetic that you do not want to hear this, but implementation of sharing between computers if bit normally takes about 5-7 minutes. But without being able to see your network and computers, I can't be specific about what you're doing wrong.

Here's my usual network troubleshooting information. If you still can't get it, you can have one tradesperson come on-site and to fix things for you. This is not a person of a type BigComputerStore/GeekSquad of the place. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to help you.

Excellent, comprehensive, but easy to understand article on sharing files/printer under Vista. Contains information about sharing printers and files, and the folders:

    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb727037.aspx

For XP, start by running the Network Setup Wizard the on all machines (see warning in section A below).

Problems sharing files between computers on a network are usually caused by 1) a misconfigured firewall or a firewall neglected (including a dynamic firewall in a virtual private network); or (2) inadvertently run two firewalls such as the firewall of Windows and a third-party firewall. and/or (3) do not have accounts to the same users and passwords on all computers in the workgroup. (4) tries to create actions where the operating system does not.

    A. configure the firewall on all machines to allow traffic to local area network (LAN) as being approved. With the Windows Firewall, it means which allows file sharing / print on the Exceptions tab normally run the XP Network Setup Wizard will take care of this for these machines. The only "witch hunt", it will turn on the XPSP2 Windows Firewall. If you are not running a third-party firewall or you have an antivirus/security with its own firewall component program, then you're fine.  With a third-party firewall, I usually set up the allocation of LAN with an IP address range. E.g. would be 192.168.1.0 - 192.168.1.254. Obviously you would substitute your correct subnet. Refer to the safety of any third party program or the user forums for how to correctly configure its firewall. Do not run more than one firewall. DON'T STOP FIREWALLS; CONFIGURE THEM CORRECTLY.

    (B) to facilitate the Organization, put all computers in the same workgroup. This is done from the System applet in Control Panel, the computer name tab.

    (C) in Vista, turn on password protected sharing. Create accounts of users and corresponding passwords on all machines. You do not need to be logged into the same account on all machines and assigned to each user account passwords can be different; accounts/passwords just need to exist and to match on all machines. DO NOT NEGLECT TO CREATE PASSWORDS, EVEN IF ONLY OF SIMPLE. If you want a machine to boot directly to the desktop (a particular user account) for convenience, you can do this:

XP - set up Windows to automatically connect (MVP Ramesh) - http://windowsxp.mvps.org/Autologon.htm

Vista - Start ORB > Search > type: netplwiz [Enter]
Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC

Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. Enter the password for this user account (when it exists) when you are prompted. Leave blank if there is no password (null).

    D. Si one or more of the computers is XP Pro or Media Center, turn off Simple file sharing (Folder Options > view tab).

    E. create share as you wish. XP Home does not share the users directory or the Program Files, but you can share folders inside those directories. A better choice is to simply use the Shared Documents folder. See the first link above for more information on Vista sharing.

    F. you have the job of file sharing (and tested by exchanging a file between machines), if you want to share a printer connected locally to one of your computers, share of this machine. Then go to the printer mftr Web site. and download the latest drivers for the correct system. Install them on the target machines. The printer must be collected during the installation procedure. If this isn't the case, install the drivers and then use the Add Printer Wizard. In some cases, printers must be installed as local printers, but it is outside this response. Hi experts,

I have a page jspx with a button that generates a PDF report of Jasper.

My problem is that after pressing on and download the pdf file, the user cannot access other links more.

If I put the mouse over the button is watch the mouse pointer as he was waiting for something.

Therefore, the user must close the browser (I checked with Chrome, Firefox and IE) or refresh the page.

    This is the key:

                                                       partialSubmit="false"

  • Interface grid for non - DBA user control...

I was wondering if there is a way to provide non - DBA, one has to connect to OEM (SGD Grid Control) to 11g.

We have a few SQL Server databases and developers/report writers who are quite curious about OEM, especially after I gave them all a presentation on it.

I tried to create an account in one of our repository databases, but OEM did not recognize the account (username/password invalid name).

Does anyone know if this is possible or how it can be done?

I have SGD 10.2.0.5 implemented with a repository database and a database of crash-and-burn that our people can mess with.

    Thank you.

Connect to OEM, select Setup, administrators. Create a user.
In step 1, do NOT select 'Super Administrator '.
In step 3, select 'View Any target'
On step 4, select all of the targets that you want them to see.

  • Device application customized with user controls.

Let's say I use the tool of creation of customized device model to create a LabVIEW project for my custom device. I want to have a panel of user (a group of digital and Boolean values) for the user to change values in the messages that the appliance sends values (such as the temperatures and voltages) and so.

Question: Where can I add the Group of digital and Boolean values. My best guess is the * RT pilot VI.vi:

I'm reading the documentation for the creation of custom devices, but I don't see what about what I want to do. At the end of the day, I want a custom device that will send and receive messages CAN. At the same time, the user will be able to replace the values in the response messages before being placed on the CAN bus.

I'm looking for by changing the J1939 Custom device project OR on their GitHub page. Therefore, this issue is therefore more need an answer.

There is no documented and supported way to do this. There is an well received for such an API feature request, but it is now closed for entry, with no indication of when or if such a device will apply. If it is not, it will of course no use on a 3.2 installation, so your main goal should be to get this upgrade...

  • User control over the availability of Flex in the browser?

    Hi all

New guy to this Flex development. The fundamental issue, I hope.

Comparing Flex to JavaScript, can the user disable selectively Flex in the browser? It seems that a lot of headaches with JavaScript treats this configurable option (I've historically avoided client side scripting because of this concern). I guess the plugin could be removed or disabled? If so, is there an answer "agreed" under such a condition?

    Thank you!

    Karl

    Yes

When you launch an application flex html template that contains the swf file has its place inside that says 'download required Flash player' and 'Alternative place HTML content here' If no player is detected.

You can put instrucation alternative here.

There are a few ways and an offical Adobe kit around to detect the version of flash player, and most of them use javascript.

The thing is I weigh up when it comes to developing a Flex application is my choice.  I love working on the flash platform.  I think that the biggest bonus is that everything you do in Flash / Flex his will work on browsers on all platforms.  And now with air you can also deploy these applications of office on all platforms.

My biggest gripe with javascript, css, etc., was that the different browser seem to treat differently the pieces.  I end up doing the hacks and workarounds and generally in a desire to work in either

Yes on the server side is your final rendered HTML to ensure that everyone gets it.  However if your Rich Internet application taking, then it's not going to provide the tools.  I would say that when we want to code client-side Flex is tops for me.  A great thing is that Flash has been around for more than 10 years and according to stats installed on 98% of internet connected machines. It is I have to be good.

That's just my opinion, but if your client side coding, Flex for me.

The only conflict I've had was in the list of user names in the list found when I ran "control userpasswords2". I went to highlight the 'B' account after that I ran the command, you click Properties and changed his name to 'A'. This solved my access denied problem once and for all.
