USER DELETED A CLICKED SAVE FILES-CANT FIND FILES-WINDOWS 8

I deleted a user - Windows 8 - he gave me an option to save the files, I chose, said he would put in a folder - I can't remember where it was to be.  Looked everywhere.  Any help?   Is there a way to reverse entirely?

Thank you

Hi Jpavan,

If you choose to keep the files, you can still access any administrator account.

Log in using an account with privileges (press Win + E on the keyboard and run Explorer) and go to the delete the profile of users (usually the location of C:\Users\USERNAME).

Please let us know the result of the suggested steps.

Is it possible to recover a file from the Recycle Bin, once it's been dumped?

If you have a rotating magnetic drive, on third-party utilities such as Data rescue. Note: Data rescue requires another disk on which to save the recovered files.

If you have an SSD, your files are GONE.

If you do not have a backup of confidence, make the conscious decision to NOT to keep all the files on your Mac at all times. It's only a matter of time before a major failure just launch into it. "Any disk can fail at any time."

The solution to this problem is to get an external drive about 2-3 times (or more) the size of what you want to keep and activate the Time Machine (included on your Mac). This drive doesn't have to be fast - USB - 2 will suffice.

After the first backup very long cycle, you will find that Time Machine works quietly in the background at low priority without interrupting your work, and that 'walk' to save files so that when you need a copy, it is here.

You will need to disable the automatic updates to keep up with the 08 version, until Adobe fixes this problem in a future release.

Newbe to epub creation... itunes book oven will not accept encrypted files... cant find them and which fonts can use one without this problem?

The book oven does not accept the embedded fonts that are encrypted, even if the encryption is by the IDPF specifications.

InDesign will not incorporate fonts unencrypted by respect for the rights of the provider of the police.

There is no work around as I know, at least with regard to preview what will look like the fonts. If you choose not to embed the fonts then the oven should work, but then you won't be able to see what the fonts look like, no?

What is the team of InDesign epub is simply side load the epub via dropbox or by e-mail. Two of these routes allow you to choose "open with...". "and iBooks will be one of the choices.

  • Locking a PDF file so that pro and standard users cannot edit and save

We have a standard user Adobe X and three Adobe X pro users and the rest of our personal user Reader X.  My problem is that when I create a form and lock it and then place it on our Linux Server standard and pro users can edit and save this form as if he is not at all safe.  Reader users cannot do anything except to fill in the form according to allowances for the security on the form.  Is it possible to ensure that all users are the same?  Standard and pro users are the worst to save their information in the forms.  I really want to be able to make sure they can't.  I sure not a pro by any stretch Adobe I learn something new every day so any help is gratefully accepted.

Thanks for answering my question.  The main reason we want no the staff to be able to save a form after that that it is been completed is that many of our forms are used by all staff and completed differently each time.  They would be more than welcome to save locally to their own files over, but what is happening is that the main form is often completed and recorded by the staff.  When the form is used by the next person it is filled with the latest information of users.  I want to lock forms to stop this problem from happening.  Of course, if the form requires an electronic signature, it will save, but who is saved locally and not on the server of the Agency.

A "Cannot find...". ', ' Failed to start..., "Could not load..." ». "Might not work... "" Cannot run ""error loading... ". "or"specific module could not be found"message is usually related to the malware that has been configured to run at startup, but the referenced file has been removed after a malware scan, leaving behind a registry entry pointing to a file that does not exist.
It might be a removal of malicious software or an application not installed.  The entry may have a curious looking name since it was probably generated at random when the malware was installed.
Windows attempts to load this file but cannot locate because the file has been deleted for most probably during a scan for malware. However, an orphaned associate of remainders of startup parameter or registry entry and tells Windows to load the file when you start or connection.
So you should delete the referenced entry Windows stop trying to run the file. It may or may not be included in the registry.  Autoruns (see below) you get the elements no matter where it is.
If you just locate and uncheck the item in msconfig, which disables the element but does not remove the reference to the element of false starting your computer.   Disabling in msconfig it is the old mans solution (or the profane mans solution) and leave you with a sloppy XP configuration.
If you are comfortable editing the registry, you can search and remove the reference from where remove it using a popular third-party tool called Autoruns.
Before making any changes to your registry by hand or with third-party tools, don't forget to first make a backup of the registry. Here is a link to a popular registry backup tool:
Autoruns does not install anything on your computer.  It will display all startup locations where the reference may be then you can turn it off or remove it completely.  Here is the download link for Autoruns:
Run Autoruns.exe and wait that he at the end of the filling of the list of entries.
When the Autoruns is finished scanning your system, it will say "Ready" in the lower left corner.  Autoruns can be a little intimidating to first if you have never seen it before because it displays a lot of information.  You are really interested only a few sections.
The problem is usually in the usually start startup entries or the system user then click on the connection tab.
Scroll through the list and look for a boot entry associated files in the error message.
If you can't find there, look in any tab.
Right-click on the offending entry and choose Remove.  If you don't see it in Autoruns, you must edit the registry and remove the item from your startup folder it.  Autoruns displays the same information, however.
Given that you had or have an infection, followed with this:
Perform scans for malware first, then correct any problems:
Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:
    Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/
    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/
They can be uninstalled later if you wish.

  • Close programs to prevent the loss of information. Your computer is low on memory. You save files and close programs. Java (TM) Platform SE binary Windows Media Player

    Hello

I keep getting the following error message, and leterally having my computer off over and over again, even if I added 1 GB of RAM (now 3 total RAM) mor and also added a 8 GB SD card as more power:

Close programs to prevent the loss of information.  Your computer is low on memory.  You save files and close programs.  Java (TM) Platform SE binary Windows Media Player

I did research on the various search engines to know that many face the same problem, with a variety of possible solutions, but so far, none work.  We suggest that I go to Regedit and change the permissions of the user and then delete the old files, after I import them.

Needless to say, I am just a user and have just a bit of technical knowledge.  The local PC repair shop in my town has no idea what to do.  For anyone who has a solution to this problem, help will be greatly appreciated!

First of all, unless you know EXACTLY what you do and WHY you do it. I personally recommend never do anything in regedit. I consider myself a moderate to advanced computer user and a moderate user of windows. And I always stay away from regedit, if I can, because you can seriously screw things if you don't know what you're doing... Although, to be honest most of the settings will not have a devastating drama.

It seems to me that this is a memory leak in the program, you will get this error message to make sure that your computer will just crash, because if she is running out of RAM... Well it will crash.

If you have a 2 and a 1 GB for a total of 3 GB, I recommend the upgrade once more and just round up to a nice 4 (this is the most of memory a 32-bit system can handle in total)

Works of memory in a way that you see really only a few performance jump with memory dual channel, the only way to have that is really striking the rods of same in each slot.

There isn't really a reason that this happens every time, except that simply your computer is low on MEMORY, when your computer says this means RAM, not disk memory storage area.

If you clean your computer of the programs you never use and stop using windows media player (itunes is better in my opinion, even if you don't have an ipod), you can see an improvement, but to really isolate the problem, I recommend simply opening your task manager as soon as you start your computer (ctrl + alt + delete usually gives you the option or it opens directly) otherwise you can do start-> RUN taskmgr.exe , OR type taskmgr.exe in the search box and press on enter.

Then, look at the column of memory as I said it sounds like a program has a leak, and you will see that is because memory will begin at low/normal and then numbers just keep climbing...

Also, make sure that your computer recognizes all 3 GB or RAM. in Task Manager if you have access to the performance tab, under physical memory must be a thing called Total, 3 GB = 3074. If this is not an option in your reason, you can go under Accessories/System Tools system information (on the start menu). (may take a while to load) but on the home page, you should see something that indicates the amount of TOTAL PHYSICAL MEMORY. You want to read this / 3GB or 3074 MB.

    Hope this helps some!

I recommend to remove all programs, you are ready to, especially those that you never use. Do a complete uninstall. Then start installing windows clean (download google) just to make sure that the program has been removed. then go start--> run msconfig OR just type msconfig in the search and click on go (I don't know if you're running XP or Vista/7)

In the msconfig dialog, you should see a section that says startup. Don't forget to remove programs that you do not first. Disable startup programs, you use every DAY. Don't go turn off all if windows needs some process to run, and some processes don't effect anything. But if you're curious, you should be able to google all of startup items and see what it's related to and why you do or that you don't need.

Good luck! Sorry, I'm everywhere with this response.
