  • LaserJet P1102w username and password to access the settings

I just set up my P1102w and after configuring network settings, it works smoothly.

I'm trying to access the web interface to see how many pages I printed, but it requires a username and password. I don't really know what one is. I tried several very probable combinations of what I would have used, but none seems not to work.

Is it possible to know what the UN and pw are, without completely restoring the default settings? Then I have to go back and change all the settings to where I now. I can do it, but it would save a lot of time if I could simply reset the UN and pw.

I get this request if I'm accessing via a laptop or desktop wireless cable.

This reset will erase all the settings of the printer.

There's no other way you can just reset the name US and Pssword.

    Hello

Is the PDF "protectedPDF" by Vitrium?

Currently, mobile products Acrobat DC (for iOS and Android) do not support PDFs with DRM (Digital Rights Management) by third parties.

I'm not aware of any other free mobile applications that support documents "protectedPDF".

I advise to use the desktop Reader on a Windows or Mac computer version to view PDF documents. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Home network connection will not be ' don't forget username and password

I have a small home network two PCs connected via a wireless router - Vista Home Premium connected wireless and Windows 7 Home Premium LAN connected.
I have no problem with the Windows 7 PC, but the PC Vista doesn't remember the "name of PC-domain\username" and the password (from the Windows 7 PC) despite the box being checked. Once connected there no problem access the required records and the printer.
I tried to use "map network drive", but, when the Vista PC is started, the network drive was a red x against it and I have to go through the PC/username and password rigmarol.
The Vista PC belongs to another Member of the family and when she wants to print I have to intervene to make the connections. In my view, that it should be able to be done automatically.

    Hi WeDontByte,

You can store passwords in Windows that you use to connect to Internet sites or networks. In this way, you don't have to type your password because Windows logs you automatically whenever you return to this place.

    1. open user accounts by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click user accounts and family safety (or by clicking on user accounts, if you are connected to a network domain), and then clicking user accounts.
    2. in the left pane, click manage your network passwords.
    3. click on Add.
    4. in the journal on the box, type the name of the computer on the network or the URL of the Web site that you want to access.
    5. in the user name and password areas, type the user name and password that you use for this computer or a Web site, and then click OK.

  • Machine Vista "frequently", but not always, ask user name and password to access the public folders on the XP machine.

    Location:

    4 x Vista computers
1 x XP computer acting as a server file, all the data in the "shared folders".

All 4 Vista computers were to access shared data on the XP machine for two years without problem. All of a sudden this week one of the Vista computers "Frequently" but not always ask for a username and password to access the machine XP - not only shared folders, but still a list of shared resources on the machine XP via my network places is the result in the box of "connect to" request credentials to appear. All 3 other Vista machines have no problem to access the XP machine, so the problem must be with the a Vista machine.

To put a spanner in the works as I have said in this case "Frequently" and by that I mean probably 9 of the 10 connection attempts. Let's say, you can see the name of the computer in my network places, you double click it and have asked for credentials, cancel the attempt and to repeat 4 or 5 times and then you could get display shared resources without going into the details of connection. For a few minutes, you might be able to access all the shared data and to navigate through the folders, but then all of a sudden have asked you credentials and can not access to anything, even the files accessed you seconds before.

Lets say you are able to access the shared folders, you navigate to the Parent folder, then under A folder, then a subfolder B, go back to A notebook, then try to access folder B even once and you get guest credentials, quit out of the network completely locations, navigate back to the XP via Network Places and this machine you not even be able to display all the shared resources on the XP machine.

I've also set up a shared folder on a Vista machine with matching username and password on the machines and the Vista machine with the get the problem exactly the same problem so this definatley Vista machine with the question and not sharing files on the XP machine.

Someone at - he met before or have any suggestions?

    Hello

With NI WSN 1.1, using a 9792, I can click on the button set the permissions, and if none had been defined would simply ask me a new administrator password.  Now with NI WSN 1.2, when I click on the button set the permissions he takes me to the web interface of the 9792 and said "nobody is connected or you don't have permissions to view/edit users, groups, and permissions.»  When I click on the "connect" button, a box opens and asks me a username and password.  I scoured the notes version of the help files and the internet, and it seems there is NO documentation on how to set up the first name of username/password combination, or it indicates what combination of username/password default username there might be.  I also tried a brand new 9792 straight out of the box and load of 1.2 to this subject and it has the same problem.  Is there something obvious that I'm missing?  How a person initially configure security on the 9792?

Inside of Windows 7 and Windows Vista, there is a feature called parental controls, take a look at:

    Hello
    Maybe this can help.

Win7 when configured on the peer-to-peer network has three types of configurations of sharing.

Group residential network = only works between Win 7 computers. This type of configuration, it is very easy to entry level users to start sharing network.

Working network = fundamentally similar to previous methods of sharing that allow you to control what, how and to whom the records would be shared with.

    Public share
= network Public (as Internet Café) in order to reduce security risks.

For the best newspaper of the results of each computer screen system and together all computers on a network of the same name, while each computer has its own unique name.

Make sure that the software firewall on each computer allows free local traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall on, Vista/XP Firewall Native should be disabled, and the active firewall has adjusted to your network numbers IP on what is sometimes called the Zone of confidence (see part 3 firewall instructions

    General example, http://www.ezlan.net/faq.html#trusted
Please note that some 3rd party software firewall continue to block the same aspects it traffic Local, they are turned Off (disabled). If possible, configure the firewall correctly or completely uninstall to allow a clean flow of local network traffic. If the 3rd party software is uninstalled, or disables, make sure Windows native firewall is active .
