  LR is not a file Explorer. He knows only the disks that you imported photos of.

  If you have previously imported these photos, then later moved into the external hard drive, go to the library files and "update location" Panel on the files that you moved.

  If you have never imported these images on the external hard drive, perform an import by using the option 'Add' (not ' copy') to keep the images on the external hard drive during import.

  for ASCII files, you can do so in any first read the file and counting the newline characters, something like:

  This way you can determine the number of rows you have, but you must have an idea of how long a line may be, one number per line or 32000 because you must specify the size of your line_buffer.

  Adobe, fix this.  There are alternative package graphics and I'm not locked in your products.

  I have everything set to CC (2015), and it seems now the user interface option is available in both I and PS

  As much by the support of the HiDPI, it will now be on the same scale scale level because the OS (Win 7 x 64 in my case) - 100, 150, 200%.

  Looks now much better and more usable.

  BTW - I hate the interface for the new DC Acrobat - I'll be restoring the Pro XI.

  Hello, I am currently working with bank statements a lot and there are a lot of page control that contains images that increases the size of the pdf file. I deleted these pages and it indeed to reduce the size of the file by a drawing of lots. But now, I do a test and just take each individual control images (31 of them altogether for the sample file I use), and it has not to reduce the size, but instead it has increased a lot. Anyone know why this is happening?

  Okay, that's as expected. SAVE is designed to be very fast. To be quick, he writes just a note of the changes at the end of the file, without removing anything. If you have (diagram) the original file, more a note saying remove the following images... It is therefore greater.

  SAVE AS is slower, he mixes around so things that you deleted are really missing. There is a reasonable chance (but not a certainty) that it goes smaller.

  So my problem was C:\ was too big which made backup of the virtual machine of your time, and I thought I have to resize C:\ 30 GB. My first test was to convert it to a HD growable. This remains a 100 GB on the host vmdk file.

  Then, I used the two compacts from the GUI and stop at the command prompt on the convert HD Nope, still 100 GB vmdk file on the host.

  Then I used a disk management program to reduce the size of the c:\ partition with 30 GB and run both shrink and compact again. Guess what, the vmdk file is always 100 GB.

  I'm running out of ideas on what to do to reduce the size of the vmdk file. Any ideas?

  Yes, I did, but I used compact from the GUI and stop at the command line (vmware - vmdiskmanager.exe). At that time I didn't there's a shrink option in VMWare tools.

  In this case try to diminish with the extra partition (temporary).

• Print multi-place reduced the size of the Page

  I have an original 8.5 x 11 I want to print 2 up to 11 x 17. When I use Acrobat to do that it reduced the size of the pages printed by 6%. I have the choice of the defined size and actual expenditures. I can't find a place to 'fix' it - it must be inherent in Acrobat or a bug. As a print provider, I currently use a taxing program, but for smaller jobs, this feature would be useful. Unfortunately customers want their prints full-size.

  Please note that this is not a bug, since the default margins are still occupying some speaces and that's why you see this marginal difference.

  If you want to ignore the margins of the printer you can do so by editing your printer .ppd file by setting State ' 0'.

  I have a 4 page PDF called TEST of the file size 4.2 MB with 3 images. When I do a new PDF of 2 copies of the TEXT by using create a PDF from multiple files, the size of the new document increases only 4.3 MB, yet it has 6 images instead of three.
