Using a Table for indexing

I am very new to this any thought would be appreciated.

I am building a table with a few thousand part numbers and in this table, I have 3 columns (Mfg SKU # and Page #) I wish that the numbers of Mfg to be in numerical order and have the page number in the 3rd column referencing to a location in the catalog.

Numerical_Order_Table_for_Part_Numbers.png

Is something like this?

I recommend you to create a Table of contents (in the Menu layout) without a table. Implemented with the tabs. In the end, convert the table of contents in a table and apply a style to the table. When you set it up properly these steps can be repeated in a few seconds if changes occur.

    Hi Vinod,

If you set up SQLAuthenticator in the JDeveloper's integrated Weblogic Server, so what happened to your case is expected, because you deleted the Weblogic instance where SQLAuthenticator has been configured. Yes, you have deleted the domaine_par_defaut instance that is located in the directory specified above. JDeveloper will recreate a new instance (not configured) the next time you run.

To avoid reconfiguring SQLAuthenticator, you must set it up on a stand-alone instance of Weblogic (which is not located on the JDeveloper/systems user... folder.

  • Use a table file bmp for future median filter 2d?

    Hello

I want to try to read a bmp file, it unflatten so I can use the 2D for a signal processing table.

The signal processing be especially will be nodes of formula.

My problem is that I can't just understand how to divide the table 2D of Unflatten Pixmap VI in a component Width and Height.

The component Width and Height would then serve as input for my formula node.

Did I miss something or I forgot a simple VI?

    Thanks in advance!

I think that you just need the function of the size of array with an array of Index.  This will give you the number of rows and columns, which is the same bone width and height in number of pixels.  Or you can simply use the function of the size of matrix (will be slightly faster)

  • For indexing loop (tables)

    Hello and thanks for reading.

I have a problem that requires me to do a lot of manipulations with the berries, and I am doing this in a series of nested for loops. I'll cut straight to my question.

I initialize an array 0 in several user-defined columns. I run a loop for the number of times user, generating a random value to each iteration defined. If I activate the automatic indexing, I use the subset of table replace outside the loop and it works very well.

Here's my problem. If I turn off the automatic indexing, and son of the [i] block to the index on the subset of table replace, now all of a sudden all I get is a random value, and it is always in the last slot in the table.

I was pulling my hair out on this problem. I looked at the forums, I looked at the example problems, I don't know WHY it does this, but I have TO be able to use the loop counter to replace the elements in the array. I'll lay 3 loops, and I'm not quite (familiar) uncomfortable with the way the auto-indexation feature chooses value auto-index to be able to think through the problem.

I wrote the program in C in my head in about 10 minutes, but this automatic indexing thing is KILLING me and I have no idea how import C in LabView without writing a dll, which I don't know how do either.

Please let me know how I can get the loop For to browse a table without using automatic indexing. Yet once again, I have no idea why he is just posting a value in the last slot of the table.

Thanks a lot for all the replies.

I know what it is.  I have no LV 2010 here at installed work, so I have to rely on my memory and see the code.

You use replace table subset.  With lit autoindexing, you create a table 1 d of random numbers which is be the same length as your table due to the terminal N being associated with the length of the array.  If you end up replacing the dimension table 1 d in its entirety in a single shot with the new data starting with element 0.  (For smile, associate a smaller number to Terminal N and you will see that some of your table 1 d is replaced).

The way I showed you replace 1 data at a time, and the first iteration is item 0, the element following 1...

  • I'm looking for Custom table and index

    Hi Hussein;
I want to find tables and indexes in the APPS schema. All custom tables and index begins with ZZ...

I try to type this query, but its bring many record a lot, where I am not mistaken. And can not find the query for custom index.

    Select a.table_name, a.owner, d.CREATED
from all_tables an inner join dba_objects d on
    a.OWNER = d.OWNER
    where table_name like '% ZZ' and 'a.OWNER =' APPS

    Thanks for the tips

    Hello

You do not have to join, ask just DBA_OBJECTS (where type_objet = 'TABLE' and object_name like '% ZZ') or (where object_type = 'TABLE' and OWNER = "CUSTOM SCHEMA"). If you follow the standards of customization, custom tables/index should exist under the custom schema (and not under APPS schema).

  • Table of index

    Hello

I have a table and I want to point to a certain element in the table using its index. Basically, I need to use the equivalent of "Index Array" labview teststand. If im not wrong, GetNthSubProperty does the same thing? But I'm looking for an example of using it. I keep getting errors when I try to use it. Here is my example:

    MyArray: [0.5]

I'm pointing to index [4] of the table.

    Locals.MyArray [4] should work.

  • Control reference 1055 error when you use a loop for

    Hello

I'm having a problem using control references to accomplish the following: I a VI that reads data from a text file, and then uses that automatically update the value of a control on front panel on two live different, then set the default values, and then save them. Comes from the array of control references, I tried looping on text labels until I have find the one corresponding to the order, I want to change and then update its value. The problem I have is that if I use a loop for, then 9times of LabVIEW 10 complains error 1055: "LabVIEW: object reference is not valid. If instead I the wiring to the index table and manually extract the reference, then it works every time and for each index of the reference of the order.

Can someone take a look at my code and just see if its obvious what the problem is? In this case, I have a simple solution, but I would really like to understand what I did wrong. I have included as a code snippet, but also attached the files if that helps (Its Import_Colormap.vi, which is the problem). Persons with disabilities code fails, the active code works but I can't see what is really the difference between them - I can change the index of array 0,1,2, 3. and no mistake.

    Thank you.

Your "Colormap.ctl" is a strict type def that contains a ring.  You define the elements programmatically, make the default values, and then save the "Colormap.ctl"?   I was never practicing this but here is a thread that covers this in detail. I do not understand what you expect reach by running.
The next thing: at the same time (at the same time!), you open the Colormap.vi (this is what we see in yout PNG) that contains an instance of the Colormap.ctl on the front panel. I'm not pretty sure if LabVIEW can handle this correctly. This could be the reason why you sometimes get the error 1105.
I prefer StringsAndValues and eventually the value of the ring running.  There is no need to do it with a def of strict type.

  • cluster using the table

I am relatively new to the use of clusters for this purpose.

Is there a way to try to do what I've shown in the clip below?

The bulit clustered to table isn't really any try because then I have to index or use the subset of the array to get the appropriate filepaths or visa sessions.

what you have now is fine if you have more than five elements, and you don't want to extract some

  • Clear on how the table of Index OpenG works with a 2D Arrray

    Hello

I don't understand how to use the undex OpenG table with a table entry 2D. I joined the contest help window, said that aid

"For 2D tables, connect the clues and indices 0 1 entries to specify the items you want.

So what does really mean? I wired the vi as requested and the vi always puts a 1 d table. So are the lines of entries in table two indexes and columns or what?

I am sure that you send in your line indices table and the table of the column indices and get out of your table 1 d of elements.

    (i.e. rank table [1,5,7] and table column [4,8,10] gives you a table 1 d elements (1,4), (5.8), (7.10))

  • Can I get the total number of records that meet the conditions of a query using the Table API?

    Hello

A < row > TableIterator is returned when I ask operations using the index of tables. If I want to get the total number of records, I count one by one using the returned TableIterator < row >.

Can I get the total number of records directly meets the conditions of the query?

I can get the total number of records directly the request of the meeting of the conditions of CLI using the command Global table - name tableName - count - index index-name-field fieldName - start startValue-end endValue.

Can I get the same results using the Table API?

I used MongoDB and NoSQL Oracle for about a year. According to the experience of the use of these dbs, I think mongoDB querying interface is powerful. In the contras, the query interface is relatively simple, which results is a lot of work that is usually a long time in the client side.

    Hello

Counting records in a database is a tricky thing.  Any system that gives you an accurate count of the records will have a hotspot of concurrency on updates, namely the place where the counting is maintained.  Such a count is a problem of performance in addition to competitive access problem.   The problem is even more difficult in a system widely distributed such a NoSQL database.

The CLI has overall command that counts, but does so by brutal force - iterate keys that correspond to the parameters of the operation.  This is how you must do this within the API.  There is not a lot of code, but you have to write.  You certainly want to use TableIterator TableAPI.tableKeysIterator (), because a key iteration is significantly faster than the iteration of lines.  Just one iteration and count.

If you use TableAPI.multiGet () and a key with a touch of brightness full then, in fact, count the results as they are returned in a single piece (a list).

  • partion tables and indexes

    Hi all

    DB: 10.2.0.4

Is that we can convert a normal table into partitioned tables?
If Yes, then what is the existing indexes on this table?

IM totally new about partitioning (Table and Index). I read the oracle docs but still have confusion with local and global index (score and no-partion)...

    Please suggest...

    Kind regards.

    >
Is that we can convert a normal table into partitioned tables?

    >
You can use the EXCHANGE PARTITION to do. See this article from the Oracle base
Partitioning of an existing Table using the EXCHANGE PARTITION
    http://www.Oracle-base.com/articles/Misc/partitioning-an-existing-table-using-Exchange-partition.php

Or you can use for DBMS_REDEFINITION do directly

See this article from the Oracle base
    http://www.Oracle-base.com/articles/Misc/partitioning-an-existing-table.php

You can also create a new table and INSERT the data from the old table.

The option you are using could depend on indexes how you have, if you intend to keep them all and if the indexes on the partitioned table must be either local or global.

To refine the new partitioned table, you really need evaluate each index to determine that the index should be global or local, and if the index should also be partitioned.

There isn't any point to create a new table with the same indexes if you want to redefine all the indexes. You would be better of the backup of the original and then table drop indexes before conversion.

See the VLDB and partitioning Guide
    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/B28359_01/server.111/b32024/TOC.htm
