  Try resetting Safari. Close Safari completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the preview pane of Safari until it disappears from the display. Then go to settings > Safari > clear the history and data from the Web site. Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds , until the Apple logo appears.

  The only way I found to do that once a file has been downloaded is to remove it and add it again through either from Finder on Mac or iCloud.com.

  Thanks for the reply. I tried to reinstall the integration features in the past, but the problem has come back at a later date. A few days after I posted this request for assistance, I needed to log out of Windows 7, so I hibernated the XP Mode image. Then, I opened a session in Windows 7 and thought I'd give it a try once again, and it worked this time! I did nothing special. So hopefully that will happen in the future, just as it went and on the past few months. Enjoyed your attempt to offer advice, however!

  I found myself with the same issue - although, for me, everything was working and then stopped at random...

  Since there is no useable answer to your question here, I begin troubleshooting me...

  What I found was a simple enough solution which seemed to reset the internet connection in desktop mode:

  1. to reveal desktop mode from the menu of charms (roll mouse over the right side of the screen)

  2. Select the charm of "settings".

  3. Select 'Network' in the parameter options

  4. right click on the network, you're connected to, and then select "turn sharing enabled or disabled.

  5 turn on network sharing

  This should reset your internet settings and retrieve your desktop mode in the loop...

  I have a JOINT-2 running IPS5.1 (1 d) (recently updated to 4.x) software that sits on a 6500 IOS.

  The IPS Device Manager shows gi0/7 and gi0/8 as well in Promiscuous mode. There is no option to change the inline mode and pair them up.

  Is it so that JOINT-2 currently supports only Promiscuous mode?

  If so, this module is always as IDS despite the execution of IPS5.1. Is it not? What is the advantage that I get after upgrade from 4.x to 5.1?

  There are 2 pieces of the puzzle.

  There is the JOINT-2 version and it takes in charge, but also the native IOS of Cat 6 K version and that it supports.

  Supports the v5.1 (1 d) JOINT-2

  (a) promiscuous mode.

  (b) mode InLine Interface pair (2 interfaces are matched to online tracking) and also

  (c) pair online mode of Vlan (2 VLANS on a single interface is matched for online tracking, you will also see it called inline-on-a-stick)

  But for these features to be used, the code switch must also support the configuration on the side of the switch of the JOINT-2 for each of these 3 features.

  Native versions of IOS prior to 12.2 (18) SXE will only support the Promiscuous on JOINT-2 mode.

  12.2 (18) SXE and later versions support Interface InLine mode on JOINT-2 pair.

  No native IOS version does currently support InLine Vlan pair on JOINT-2 mode (a new versions native IOS with this support is currently in development).

  For inlining (IPS), you need to run a Native IOS version 12.2 (18) SXE and later and on the JOINT-2 run IPS versions 5.1 (or even older 5.0).

  (NOTE: Cat OS 8.5 (1) takes in charge the 3 modes of JOINT-2.) Therefore, if you use cat instead of the native IOS OS, then run version 8.5 (1) to have access to all the features of IPS 5.1 (1) on the JOINT-2)

  If you run a Native IOS version prior to 12.2 (18) SXE and the JOINT-2 then it can run in "Promiscuous" mode even if 5.1 (1) is responsible for the JOINT-2.

  However, even in "Promiscuous" mode the IPS 5.1 (1) software has a few advantages.

  There are several engines and engine parameters are only supported in version 5.1 and not the version 4.0. (So there are several signatures that are either one) not yet created for sensors 4.x, or b) signature 4.x is not as precise as the signature of 5.x in new engines.

  (These new engines are proved invaluable in writing signatures to detect some of the new attacks that came out last year).

  There are of course other benefits:

  For example:

  (1) risk of note to best aid priority to alerts.

  (2) fitlering more flexible mechanism for alerts that allows individual actions of fitlering

  The 2 features above are only 2 of the new features that have been added in 5.0 and 5.1 that apply both of promiscuity and online modes.

  I often work off site and use my iPhone AT & T s 6 to attach my work Windows 10 Pro (processor ASUS T300CHI) Tablet.  Although many places I work have Wifi, most only allow VPN I need to connect to my work server.  After updating ios 10 (I'm on 10.0.1), I did have problems engaging, but VPN doesn't work anymore.

  VPN integrated Windows 10 Pro on my Tablet has an automatic configuration that appears to detect the type of configuration (IKEv2/IPSec/PPTP/L2TP, etc.) and you just put in user name and password.  According to my dept IT, the VPN connection in the office not only supports PPTP (I understand has been disabled with ios 10) but also supports IKEv2 and L2TP/IPSec.  Nevertheless, I always left configuration VPN on Windows 10 in auto.  I tried selecting the connection type, but it did not work either.  Generally I get the error "failure of VPN tunnels.

  Any thoughts would be appreciated

  Please keep us informed if you were able to solve this problem.  I also have the same problem since the update iOS10.  I think it has to do with Apple, removing the IOS10 PPTP protocol... I was able to confirm the conclusion of downgrading to previous IOS 9.3 and my VPN works very well, unfortunately my users with iPHONE7 cannot sink their IOS and now can not access VPN through hotspots iOS10

  My iphone 5s will download the update, but every time I try to install it it says "cannot install the update. An error occurred installing ios 9.3.5.

  Go to settings > general > storage & use iCloud > manage storage (the first) > and if there is an update that is listed, remove it. Then restart the device, go to settings > general > Software Update and try to download the update again.

  If that doesn't work, try updating through iTunes on your computer.

• Firefox will crash on the opening, only allowing me to use it in safe mode.

  Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

  If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a profile in the new profile, but be careful not to copy files corrupted to avoid transporting on the problem.

  Start the computer in safe mode Windows with network support (on the startup screen, press F8) as a test to see if that helps.

  Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

  Note that compensation "Preferences of Site" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, windows pop up, installation of software and passwords.
