• Cannot change the size of the Page using Document format

  I created a working document which is a long page, 800 px by 4000 px. It's a document that has grown as it has been assembled, and I would regularly change the page size by using document format to lengthen the page so I could make room for additional content.

  Now I'm trying to reduce the length of the page, because we have removed some of the content. I need to change the page size of 4000 px long 3380 long PX. I'm going to the preparation of the Document, type the new page size, click OK and nothing happens. I tried to resize the page to 6000 px, and nothing happens. I tried to resize the page of 2000 px, and nothing happens.

  Did somehow lock the page size? I can't understand this one out, and the representative of Adobe tech (in India) including support less on the problem I did.

  Help! I have a deadline...

  In InDesign CS6, you must choose the tool (3rd from the top) Page to change the size of the page.

• Vertical lines shows that when using document feeder / have given help and discussions, no luck

  I have two printer hp models 1536.   Two of them have a vertical line when using the loader to scan or copy documents.

  When you place the point on the glass, scanning or copying is clear.

  Reading the discussions... tried to plug directly into the wall, cleaned feeder and glass, etc.

  I still have this problem

  Driver or firmware problem?

  The question is probably not a driver or firmware issue - it is probably a task on the thin glass used for playback through the ADF.  Try to clean the glass broadband of 1 "to the left of the main scanner glass. A tiny spec can cause the problem you are experiencing.  It can help to hold a flashlight almost parallel to the scanner glass to highlight all the stains on the glass.

  First of all, to the right of the bat in the first line of the script throws and error (-file of ashes not found error). So I had to remove that (no idea why?).

  When I run this script from the (unsupported) ESXi console, all right, all the computers shut down virtual and, in the end, therefore the ESXi.

  When I run this script to VIMA (ssh to the console, remote script execution), only the VIMA machine stops. If I modify the above script does not close the VIMA, all virtual machines (except of course VIMA) stops and made the ESXi...

  VIMA is the first machine that gets shutdown - it has the Vmid lowest. It seems that this causes the rest of the script to stop running... How is that possible when in fact it is running on the ESXi Server?

  I'm pulling my hair out on this one (or what's left of them). Does anyone have an idea why it does not work...? lamw?

  The reason why you should delete/bin/bash because ESXi 4.0 not supported console Busybox has more a symbolic link to/bin/Ash bash that resembles the bash environment, so that would make error if you try to specify the path that does not exist.

  About the scheduling of the production of vmsvc/getallvms, you can always do a grep - v on VIMA VM is not part of the list and have a separate condition which which will close at the end.

  You can do this online if you have the Acrobat DC tickets or you subscription to Adobe PDF pack https://cloud.acrobat.com/combinepdf . Is not possible within the application itself.

• Convert PDFs using Document Cloud is blocked by proxy.  Please provide the URLS to ignore the proxy for the conversion

  I've already included *. Adobe.com*, but this does not solve the problem.  If I disable the proxy, there are no conversion issues.  The error I get with proxy is error contacting server.

  EDIT: Just for clarification, we use a proxy.pac file

  As you've identified, your proxy is the problem. Only you can provide the fix.

• How can I register as value by default, do not do: rely on system fonts only, do not use document fonts

  I get strange characters all the time until I have disable this checkbox in the preferences before you print it.   I want my default, but I don't see how to change this default setting.  I don't understand why you wouldn't want as a failure unless the printing speed is 1/2 second faster using system fonts.

  Someone at - it and idea how to change that, so I do not get an overview of each web page that I want to take to ensure that it printed correctly instead of a bunch of gibberish.

  You get to this point by choosing Adobe as the printer, then click on Preferences, then uncheck this box.   I can't see how to change the default setting.

  For some reason when I click on a text box, it opens the previous indesign file that I saved for the current file I'm working on. It pops up in front of the file I'm working on which is very annoying! There is a new feature that creates a link to previous files, that you saved?

• HP 4500 Envy: Just installed my hp envy 4500, it won't scan in color when you use the pdf document.

  I just installed my hp envy 4500 with software updated and everything. When I scanned a page of letter United States using Documents with text preset (through the control panel of the printer or my mac using Hp scanning application) it comes out only in black and white. The only color work is if I use the 'General purpose' preset, but the resulting dimensions of the scan above the 8.5 x 11 format.

  I imagine using an SSD as a system drive and a hard drive as a data reader, both connected internally via SATA, is common. My question is about pointing My Documents on this disc of data instead of the system drive.   I understand that my Documents is just a pointer that can target any player. But what happens when several users do? For example, the data drive is partitioned as a big drive, so the second user replaces the first pointer or all users simply point to the name of the partition, which allows all users to share the drive?

  Just make sure you have unique files on the other disk for each user

  There are various methods to have your documents in one location other than the default location of origin.  Steve Winograd showed one.

  Suppose you have two users, Alice and Bob, and you want to have documents on the D: drive, which is a traditional spinning rather than C: drive, which is an SSD.

  If you follow the instructions of Steve, you do the following:

  1. Log in as Alice
  2. Create a folder on drive D: named Alice, and a new subfolder in the Alice folder named My Documents.  In other words, create the D:\Alice\My Documents
  3. Follow Steve beginning with step 2, using Documents D:\Alice\My as 'new folder '.
  4. Log in as Bob (you can just click on the arrow on the Shut Down button and select "change user")
  5. Create a folder on drive D: named Bob, and a new subfolder in the folder named My Documents Bob.   In other words, create the D:\Bob\My Documents
  6. Follow Steve beginning with step 2, using Documents D:\Bob\My as 'new folder '.

  But to my knowledge, I Don t think centeralized zoom is not possible in this method of calling cards.

  There are many ways by which you can invoke the card / use mapField in your application. You must choose the right pair that meets your needs.

• document.referrer returns the path of the page

  I have a page that is loaded through apps.facebook.com

  There are two ways that this page is accessible from:

  apps.facebook.com/DevelopmentPage
  (Not the URL, just used for example)

  I used document.referrer to determine if the page has been loaded through the path of development and if so load of debug code. Now firefox has been updated document.referrer returns the domain without the path. Is there way or workarounds to get the path of the document.referrer?

  The solution most obvious workaround seems to be to add a parameter to the URL that you use to embed in the page, assuming that FB that allows.

  Yes, this is the correct way to this code and it works for me without any problem.
