Tactile feature no longer works

I have a X230t that is only a few days old.  As I was using the computer tonight, all of a sudden the touch screen has stopped responding to the entrance of my fingers or the stylus.

Anyone had a similar experience?  All proposed remedies?

  • P2314T, tactile function no longer works

    I use the touch screen of P2314T with a laptop and I can't get the touch screen feature to work. I sometimes had problems with immobilized and normally everything that I have to do is be restart or unplug the usb cable and the plug again, but it does not work. My computer doesn't even seem to realize that I unplugged the unit. Nothing moves in Device Manager, so I don't know yet if it is registered or what usb device, it could be if it is listed.

    I finally got it working again do a method that I had already tried unsuccessfully this time it worked. I uninstalled the device from Device Manager, unplugged the usb cable and then restarted the computer. I then plugged the cable back in and now it works.

    I don't know why it didn't work when I tried this method before but I'm glad it's working now.

  • The search feature no longer works in any of my projects generated HTML help recently

    I use 10.0.1.292 HR and HR 11.0.4.291 for different projects.


    Recently, I noticed that the search feature returns no result, in one of my projects that are generated in either Rh10 or 11. I just get the message 'no topics found. It's used to work.


    The only thing that was made recently (that I can think of) involved working with the .slp files to fix a problem with the glossary tab and the search functionality in a HR 11 Responsive HTML5 layout. (https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1690579) I, however, do not see how this would break the search functionality in my HTML projects.


    Any ideas?

    In both 10 and 11, HR whenever I generated a project like HTML Help (still an example of project) the search functionality was broken. Finally, when I couldn't think what else to try, I uninstalled and reinstalled 10 HR, and that solved my problem - HR 10 and 11!

    Apparently some file has been corrupted, but I don't know what broke or what caused the corruption. I'm still trying to get clarification from Adobe, but so far, I only received the following comments:

    • The robohelp cache folder and preferences may have caused this.
    • The problem can be either with updates on the system.

    If I should receive any definitive information, I will update this post.

  • OT features no longer work

    Hello

    I have a big problem,

    I can't select my OT features more. I choose them, but they will not appear and change. For example, I want to use small caps to Minion Pro. Once I select the letters and click the attribute of small capitals, nothing happens. It's really annoying.

    The same thing happens with my fints PS if I switch to the version of small caps. Illustrator trying to be clever and exchange letters with letters of the normal version.

    It happens in CS6 and CC.

    I need urgent help please, what is happening here!

    Minion Pro should have OsF, here's where I activated. I think they should have an icon as opentype options would be less disturbing.

    Keep in mind of each policy is different, and that some options may be unavailable on some fonts and may be gray (often fractions).

    Small capital letters is a good question, because I don't think I ever said that in the Opentype palette. Enable small caps in the character palette, thoughsince that works on any font would have thought what does access special small caps in the police, but my comparison test here seems good (note the weight seems even in the top of the page sample, versues my fake down version).

  • Address bar AutoComplete feature no longer works

    After I erased my story a couple of days, I noticed that the address bar AutoComplete funtion not working. I have visited many sites since then and yet they do not upward, nor my favorites. In 'preferences' Firefox, privacy, I selected "History and bookmarks" to the address bar.
    I tried to use Firefox in safe mode, but the problem was also present in safe mode.

    One possible cause is a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.

  • I used to be able to click on the Home icon using my Center wheel to cause a new tab open with my home page. This feature no longer works. Please notify.

    So, when I click on the Home icon at the top right of my Firefox page using my Center wheel, a new tab opens is more like

    my home page. Now, nothing happens when I do this.
    

    There is an extension or two or a combination of extensions that appear to be originally in Firefox 6.0.2. One that has been mentioned is TabMix Plus.

    You need to understand what is the cause and disable this extension/s until they are fixed by their developer.

  • 3D features no longer work in one project

    Hey there,

    I'm having a problem with the 3D functions in my recent project. (Note: in this project!)

    When the tick 3D on any layer, just all the other layers in the composition turn invisible and the background is set to black. However, the eye who manages the visibility of a layer is always visible.

    In addition, the X and the Y Rotation has lost its functionality. The object is not but more or less compressed, which looks like a poor imitation of a 3D rotation. I'll show you better.

    Must be well described. Hope someone knows what happened there, I hit probably just accidentily a shortcut that changed all that, but I obviously don't know.

    Add a camera to your publication.  Switch the Viewer to "Active Caméra" instead of "forward".

    The view from the 'Front' is spell - it shows no prospect.  Use it for alignment of layers, but not for the final design decisions.

    You can only return the output from the Active camera view, so it's best to use it as much as possible.

  • How can I uninstall the sidebar grippy that I recently added. I can't keep my bookmarks in the sidebar, as they hide quickly. This feature does not work as it did immediately after I installed it

    The sidebar grippy allowed me to switch between full screen and one that shows my bookmarks in the sidebar. This feature no longer works so I have to manually view my favorites who then disappear as soon as I go to the page. I don't want to fix - I want to just get rid of it.

  • AutoFill no longer works after upgrade to Safari 9.0.3

    I upgraded to Safari 9.0.3 yesterday on my Mac Mini 2.5 Ghz OS x 10.10.5 and the AutoFill feature no longer works. The password file still exists, but the AutoFill feature does not work. I ran the check / repair S.o.s. keychain and no problem not found.

    Check Safari/Preferences/passwords to ensure that AutoFill user names and passwords is enabled.

  • App no longer works as expected

    I bought an app in July 2013 which worked perfectly until iOS 9 is out and now its more important feature no longer works. After waiting for months for the developer to get a fix that I have finally given up and on to contact them via an email that I found on the page "about" of the app to see if they can provide a fix or a refund, their response was simply that Apple would be one that could provide a refund. When I go to the Apple page, only my recent purchases to appear - how can I contact Apple for a refund as their support numbers redirects calls me to the Web site for itunes support where this app does not appear! And I'm really sad that this app no longer works and annoyed at Apple because I can't downgrade the OS version so that the application can run again.

  • upgraded to Win 7 - optical mouse zoom is no longer works, is there a solution?

    We have just improved my mobile son of XP to win 7, now the zoom optical mouse 3000 feature no longer works. He is visually impaired and needs this tool in order to be able to read the screen. Is there a downloadable fix for this?

  • Synaptics Touchpad no longer works correctly

    Hello Internet!

    Hear my fate and tremble: I recently updated my drivers from the official manufacturer website Synaptics touchpad.  Before the update I could press twice on the upper left of the touchpad to enable and disable the touchpad.  It is a convenient feature that I have grown very fond of.  However, after the update this feature no longer works!  I'm so devastated...  I really enjoyed watching the pretty light outline of my touchpad to turn to a hurt red when it has been disabled.  I suppose I could return the drivers back to their old form, but I wanted to check if anyone knew a separate fix so that I could have as well the new drivers and the old features that I loved so much.

    I see that you updated your driver from the manufacturer's website.  HP recommends that the drivers listed on the HP driver page.  These drivers have all been tested and known to work properly. When you install the drivers of the manufacturing site, they may or may not work properly with your laptop.  Can of OEM and sometimes change a driver so that it works properly with your exact laptop.

    Download or update of software and drivers for HP computers

    If you don't have a problem with the old driver, I suggest you do a roll back driver.

    15.3.11.0 is the version recommended for your laptop and Windows 7.

  • Consider purchase of Wacom Cintiq 27 HD Touch - Questions about the tactile feature in Photoshop and Lightroom

    I'm considering buying a 27 HD Touch of Wacom Cintiq monitor. I have a few questions about the two programs Adobe and their use of the 'touch' feature - Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 5.7 running on Windows 7.

    1 problems related to touch a feature in Lightroom and Photoshop CS6 and 5 resolved that you see on the forums of Wacom a year ago?

    2. If so, is there sufficient value gained through the tactile feature in Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 5 to justify the $500 price difference between the Cintiq 27 HD vs Touch HD? (I realize that this is a subjective question based on the abundance of its cash).

    3. I intend to stay with CS6 as long as possible to avoid a monthly subscription, BUT I wonder if buy the Touch HD can provide additional key features in future releases of these products that do not exist currently. (It is a pie in the kind of sky in question).

    Support for Photoshop Touch is added by CC 2014.2.2.  However as the Pro Intuos Wacom tablets with touch can be used with earlier versions of Photoshop and the Wacom Tablets Configurator can custom features can be used with Photoshop touch tablets.  I use LR but I don't know that the same thing would be true for her. You can configure the setting for many applications. The device driver knows which application its interfacing with and uses the parameter set for each...

    I have disable most of touch when using Photoshop.  The main reason why I have a Tablet is Photoshop Brush tools. Like Eraser, clone stamp, etc, nothing is better then a pen when it come to create the layer mask.  For most programs, I always use a mouse and I use the keyboard, the mouse and the pen with Photoshop...

    I never wanted a Cintig I do not have my hand between my eyes and the work. I'm not an artist.

  • Apple tv fast slidepad forward remote no longer works

    I have always accelerated video and rewinding, on my last generation Apple tv "dragging" on the remote slidepad.  Netflix, buy movies on itunes etc.  This allowed me to skip large sections in a short period of time.  All of a sudden it no longer works.  It still allows fast forward me and rewind by "clicking" the left or right of the slidepad, but it's incredibly slow.  My slidepad still works to navigate through the menus, so there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it.
