  I'm normally a native Cascades developer and this Android stuff is new to me, so I have a small question.

  If I took an APK for app of my company and converted into a BAR by using an online converter, can I download this version on the supplier portal and release the app? Or y at - it problems with this method?

  I guess I'm worried about what the seller information could be included in the converted bar that I'm not aware of.

  This would not be an acceptable process. There is information inside the APK that contains data printed from the original (APK) signing keys. If you then sign the application reconditioned with your own signature keys, which can raise a red flag. Download for BlackBerry World probably wouldn't go over well.

  In addition, if you don't have the original signature keys used for the Android app, you will not be able to do an upgrade of the application in the future.

  I was wondering if any of you try to download a folio of the dps android app and cannot change the navigation pages. The folio is the download but looks like it hangs until the folio download is completed.

  In iOS, you can download a folio and click on another page in navigation.

  You must use the legacy Android app that does not support progressive download. You should try using our new Android native application, this fact.

  Yes, you can create an application with Muse. Keep in mind it would be only an information application and contain no feature phone like camera, Geolocation, data, etc.

  So once agin you would be limited to a single application of type information. Another problem with the use of Muse to make an app is this Muse uses fixed width design and dimensionnera therefore not depending on the device. So if you want to be on phones and tablets, you will need to create two versions.

  Phonegap Bulid you would escape using your Muse site (version usually phone except if you change the size of your desktop version) to HTML files and zip then their. With the help of Phonegap Build you would be able to create the files required for submission to the app store (Apple App Store, Google, Amazon, Windows App Store game). You're on a Mac to be able to submit to Apple's App Store. It will work with Muse, but a better solution is to use a service of construction such as the one I've used in the past called AppsZero - Apps to build with zero coding.

  Google and Apple also require paid developer licenses. Apple is $99 / year U.S. and Google when I got mine was one-time fee of $25. You don't know if the Google changed but the Apple, we're still $99 / year.

  The LaserJet M127fw printer is not a printer supported for the HP AiO application. I have included the HP printers and Mobile Printing Solutions support document for reference.

  Unfortunately not. We have integrated parts of the Android Runtime in the core OS (file Pickers, citing maps - compose, calendar of events etc.), but it happens without any code changes. If you are looking for features only found in the Cascades or native, it would be the way forward for all new development.

  His my situation, my office im player capable to add Post-it notes and highlight text. When I open the same PDF file through the app Android, Im not supposed to. I get a message saying "this tool is not available because of the security settings of documents".

  My research ive concluded that it is the whole PDF encryption that is not allowing me to use the commenting tools in the Android app. Is this correct?

  Acrobat Reader mobile products (for iOS, Android, Windows Phone) have the known limit where the changes cannot be saved in encrypted PDF documents.  As a result, users are not able to make changes (addition of comments/annotations or forms) for encrypted PDF documents.

  If you created the PDF file or if you know the password, you can remove the Security document and settings of restriction of the PDF on your desktop, so you can use it on your Android app.

  I have installed Orbot and torified Firefox, my browser stock and several other applications in my settings Orbot. I have after activation Orbot and Tor, my stock browser network connection works fine and I can go to Web sites.   Thank you for your help. Just in case other users need help I've included my solution below.

  I was able to solve this problem by following these steps:
  1 were going to about: config
  2 entry "proxy" in the search field
  3. change the following parameters:

   network.proxy.http   127.0.0.1
   network.proxy.http_port   8118
   network.proxy.socks   127.0.0.1
   network.proxy.socks_port   9050
   network.proxy.socks_remote_dns   true
   network.proxy.type   1
  

  4. close and restart Firefox

  A user can also use the add-on Proxy Mobile of the Guardian project. The add-on changes these settings for you, but before this post, I had compatibility problems with the add-on to addons.mozilla.org so I tried to do it manually. I found the updated module (https://guardianproject.info/releases/proxymob-latest.xpi) and installed. You must always give the port numbers specified in 3 above.

  I already gave you the warnings on this subject... re-read post 4 above please. There is always a possibility of injury permanent... There is no guarantee. But I installed it with Autoloaders from dozens of times... once there was a problem, but the issue proved to be the autoloader itself... and therefore a different automatic charger using has solved the problem. But not always, no guarantees. Use at your own risk. I don't think that there is a problem, as long as you carefully read and follow ALL the instructions... If you jump on an object, you increase the risk that you might cause a problem. So, once again, re-read post 4 above please... all this.

  Push is not supported as of now on the Simulator, you can use a real device BlackBerry to test your install your Android app on.

  You can push multiple applications to an initiator to push, but each push-enabled application on the device itself will have its own ID of the application that are associated with him.
