  This is probably due to a problem with uncompressed metadata stored in the workbook. In most cases, the issue is found in the first journal in hidden forms. There are a few options to fix this. This file should also be open, but it may take a very long time, in some cases, the file opens fine with SV disabled in other cases, it won't matter.

• Impossible (to install office 2003 after repeated failures of the updates for office 2003 re security)

  The security update for office 2003 on my XP (SP3) kept failing throughout the last week. A Microsoft support engineer remotely connected to my machine and was able to fix the installation/update directories corrupted microsoft who were at the origin of the problem.   That is not exactly true.  You may need to activate by phone, but I know people who have changed motherboards and have reactivated their facilities.  Die PCs.  Unless it is an OEM version, I don't think that there is nothing to prevent reactivation.

• I can't recover my system (DV6000) using recovery discs after replacing the card mother/HARD drive
