AC2 negates the need to have a configuration of account iTunes\AppleID on each device, can I ask why you wanted to do this, there may be a better way? ipads how are you trying to install? ipad users can add their own iTunes account to download other additional applications then deployed via the configurator.

  • Can I use the software of HP Vista 64 bit on Win 7 64 bit?

I have a HP Deskjet 6940, which I will use it on a new computer with Win7 64 bit after the beginning of the year.

Looking for the software Win7 64-bit to the HP6940, HP support indicates full software recommended for HP6940 is not available and to be able to use the basic software provided by Win7 installation disc. This is not good. I need to switch between the different modes of printing with a few changes. I don't think that it will be available in the base of Win 7.

HP of HP6940 support shows full software support for Vista 64-bit. Microsoft documentation indicates most Vista 64 bit drivers etc. will work on Win7 64-bit. The key word is most. So the question is, can I go ahead and use the HP Vista 64 bit on Win7 64-bit software to get the functionality I need or I don't have a chance? If it won't work how long can I wait for Win7 64 bit software for the HP6940 available? The printer is not the old ONE that HP should stop support.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Limited quality basic option buttons = good, better, best more type = text and photographic and oriantation = portrait, landscape. The video associated with the message of support from Win 7 to the HP6940 was not very helpful and did not show the potential options/install provided. Or maybe it went so fast, that was really not what was available/presented.

It's a bad choice of words to suggest that pilots are "basic", for the Deskjet 6940 they resemble what I would expect of a full featured download of HP.  Personally, I like the method of Windows Update to provide drivers a little better than to seek to hp.com for pilots, but it's a little more difficult to know in advance what you found.  Drivers such as the Deskjet 990 are what I would call "basic", others, like the 6940 are pretty full featured.

  • Installing the printer on Win 7 64 bit and D-Link DPR-1260 print server

I have been using a print server D-Link DPR-1260 to my home network for more than 1 year. The computers were all run XP XP3 32bits. When I upgraded to WIn 7 64 bit, I have problem printer installation. Both printers are Samsung scx-4521 laser MFPS and laser color CLP-315. The drivers are already installed on my computer and I was able to print if they were directly connected via USB. I also could see DPR-1260 and the printer. But installation stopped, because it was not able to find the proper drivers. It's strange because I was able to print via USB. Help please. I have not upgraded other computers even though I only install the 32-bit version instead of 64-bit for others.

I tried this fix as well, however it allows me to select the folder in which I think that the pilot is located inside.  Basically, it can not find the 64-bit driver... alternatives?

to connect to the d-link printserver 1260, you have to treat it as a network with a device server. Here's what you will need the name of the print qeue and ip address. and a COMPATIBLE printer, who is in the list of d-link1260 that they have a better list on their Web site... www.Dlink.com
' 1. goto devices and printers "in the start menu
    2. at the top click on "Add a printer" If you can't find it in the list of devices below.
    3. then choose "add a network printer".
    4. next hen click on 'stop' click 'the printer that I want isn't listed.
    5. Select 'Add a printer using a tcp/ip address or hostname' click 'next '.
    6. Select the type of device and enter the ip address be 192.168.0.xxx, a window will open and ask more
port information, click on "custom" at the bottom.
7 when the sub menu opens choose "LPR" and then enter the name of the print queue of the printer I also checked "bytes active cash LPR" click 'next' you should not do this. that is my name of the queue was ml-2010. You can get this in the dlink1260 configuration page.
    8. the next page will ask you to printer driver. If the list is not current, then 'windows update' first try the updated list for the models more that it will take a few minutes will be patient.  or you can try the driver for the model that you ever I recommend download the latest drivers from your manufacturer... Select make the printer on the left and the right MODEL. then click Next
you're done if you can print a test page.

his best guys to assign a static IP for dpr print server 1260 and lock it in the configuration. also book this IP in your router configuration. for 64-bit systems a lot of pilots was not yet available from this list you can get them now. I suggest using BASIC pilot not those in a package with all demonstration... are HP most likely to be used in the configuration of this installation as I said in the beginning make sure you have a printer supported by the list of compatible printers found here dlink.com veryfying...

    http://www.Dlink.com/products/default.aspx?pid=DPR-1260&tab=3

Goto the 'FAQ' section and see the list of printers. and more details on the installation manually this configuration and settings for most editions of windows.

  • What device drivers OR are required to use the configurator with CompactRIO Profibus Master-Slave device?

I'm trying to deploy the software driver for a portable production that will allow technicians to download configurations of profibus for CompactRIO profibus DP master-slave cards.  I know I need support VISA and MAX in order to communicate with the device when it is in Slot 1.

I have a Windows XP computer I've used in the past for this and a 7 32-bit Windows development machine that can do as well.  I guess I would need OR-Rio installed and more MAX and VISA, but I run in RIO the right software to install on this machine.  Until I dig a hole more far than necessary can someone point me in the right direction of what is needed to install?

My development platform is LabVIEW 2010 with SP1.  The development and the production laptop computer work all the two 32-bit Windows 7.  The development machine has the following (and other) software:

LabVIEW 2010 (RT, FPGA modules) SP1

    MAX 5.3.3

    NI-VISA 5.2

    NOR-RIO 3.6

We use Comsoft Configurator II 1.2.37

    All reviews are much appreciated!

    Matt,

I understand the suggestion about Profibus shake appeal reviewer, but I never mentioned the module Profibus - only the NI Compact RIO driver software.

    Ryan,

I checked that the key and it is present and correct.  Later during some additional tests, I'm done with several other installers throw similar messages.  I've seen CVIRTEDIR and MAXAFWDIR as well.

I thought at this stage there was another really obscure registry entry who standing things upwards, so I tried to install it (s) even on another unit of the same configuration management.  Installed LabVIEW Runtime Engine 2010 SP1f5, NI-VISA 5.2 (included OR MAX 5.3) and NOR-RIO 3.6.1 and everything works well for use with Configurator II Version 1.2 (September 2011 version 1.09 interface Comsoft TCP sockets, includes LabVIEW 8.6 run time engine).

In the past I could have resorted to the use of MSI-Blast to clean all the related registry NOR entered, but I couldn't get my hands on a copy and uninstall NOR has not removed the remains (it seems).

I'm running a witch of Ubuntu has set 512 MB of memory for use but VMW uses very small amounts of RAM. I have these processes in Win Task Manager:

    VMware.exe * 32 ~ 40 MB

    VMware - tray.exe * 32 ~ 600 KB

    VMware - vmx.exe ~ 20 MB

What I try to do in average Ubuntu stagnates and triggers the disc intensely so, apparently, that it uses like 40MB of RAM? I even put the VMW do not use swap, but the result is the same.

I see that the process are marked as 32-bit, don't know why, I installed the .exe from the VMW site.

    In

    C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware Workstation\config.ini

    change prefvmx.useRecommendedLockedMemSize = 'FALSE' to 'true '.

Also, use you a snapshot - that always slows down a virtual machine

the warning in the DEVICES MANAGER says "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its information of configuration (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

    Hello

19 code means there is a driver conflict such as two devices attempt to use the same resources.

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    ===============================

Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD
Burn and CD and DVD read). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 operational so that other parts
    do it right.

Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.

Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and
the correct registry entries for your car.

Here are the keys that I of course are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive
as there will be other subkeys in these keys. Do not forget to ask specific keys involved as well as
    the parameters.

I have recently bought the 15 - d 103tx hp laptop computer and that you have installed windows 7, 64-bit in it. I found all the required drivers for Windows 7 from the Web site, except the Bluetooth drivers. I have my adapter wireless as below:

Qualcomm-Atheros 802.11b/g/n WiFi QCA9565 adapt. I tried to install the driver for Qualcomm Atheros QCA 9000 series Bluetooth 4.0 + HS drivers in my system, but I'm still not able to use my bluetooth. I'm not able to search for other bluetooth devices, and I'm not able to find my laptop by other bluetooth devices. Can someone help me here please? Thank you very much!

  • Question of memory about the implementation of win 7 64 bit

I have an Acer 8920 G Intel [email protected] running win 7 64 bit.  under Vista, I had a limit of 4 GB, with Win 7, I can increase my memory to say 8 or 12 GB?  I think the limit is 16 GB right?

I've updated a lot of systems.  I suspect your new Vista machine, was a 32-bit version.  32-bit systems can not 'see' more of about 3.25 G of memory, no matter how you equip with.

64-bit systems can theoretically see a lot more.  The limitation will be with the chipset and BIOS of the particular model.  Yours has 2 memory slots.

According to my experience, two systems of 4G equipped that are identical in all directions but is 32 and 64 other results in 15% performance improvement.  In addition, Win7 is about 10% faster than Vista SP2.

Problem is the manufacturer produces a model, provides updates of the software of the chipset and BIOS that allow these improvements, but never reissues sheets.

I found many systems including the specs say 2 pcs 2G each are at max.  In many of these systems, I discovered that they handled 2 PC 4 G each without problem.  Make sure that your BIOS is the last before trying this.

It is essential that the 2 PC's are matched.  If they do not match, the memory does not work in mode Dual DDR2 is capable of.   Also, see if you can find the specifications for the memory CASE latency rate.  Some systems will not accept a higher speed and strips of larger memory than if they are provided with the right latency memory.

Your probably provided with 2 PC 2 G DDR2 667.  I would not be surprised if DDR2 800 is not working and thus produce improved performance.  I found that this was the case in many systems.  You will find some DDR2 800 and 667 cost the same.  If the system will not work at 800, your 800 memory works well, but speed 667.

  • How can I control the configuration of Win 7 library with GPO/GPP?

    Hello

We would like to be able to add/remove central controls the administration of libraries in win 7 in our company, via GPO or PPM.

The only articles I can find suggests to change the library-ms files and copying on each machine when connecting or using a powershell script to delete libraries.

In particular, I hope, there is a way we can remove public libraries of a Windows 7 via GPO client without having to copy a file to the opening?

PS; I know that I can use the GPO as a mechanism to provide the fixes above, I just expected something a little more elegant.

Let me know if there is a setting in the GPO /GPP miss me.
