Using the Digital Signature method to connect to the IOM

Hello

I am using the following:
Config ConfigurationClient.ComplexSetting = ConfigurationClient.getComplexSettingByPath ("Discovery.CoreServer");
final Hashtable env = config.getAllSettings ();
tcSignatureMessage moSignature = tcCryptoUtil.sign ("xelsysadm",
"PrivateKey");
tcUtilityFactory ioUtilityFactory = new tcUtilityFactory (env, moSignature);

and it gives special suite:

com.thortech.xl.crypto.tcCryptoException: file KeyStore: de.\config\xl.keystore lack.

Where should I make the arrangement of the environment of the keystore file?

You can get the resource key of TI in the java code via mappings (make a variable type IT Res and the map with the process-online IT Resource data)... and make use of the API to get the detail of IT resources...

Thank you
Suren

I'm trying to create a PDF file with several signature lines in that anyone can "Sign" by using their digital signature CAC (Common Access Card) active. The goal is to have a single document that people can open, sign on a designated line and save the document (replacing the existing document) and close. Then another person can open the same document digitally sign another area of the form, save it, and close it. So on, and so on. Is there a way to do this? At the end of the day, I would end up with a PDF file with literally hundreds of signatures to enable different ACC everywhere...

I don't understand what the problem is. In the post of the davidr96549424 on May 8, 2015 07:58 you presented a structure of a correct document. Is the issue of the creation of this structure in a PDF file? For this, you will need an Acrobat, not reader.

XI in Acrobat, select Tools-> forms-Edit. Click 'No' on the form fields 'detect '. In the tasks Panel that opens, click on "add new field". Select "Digital Signature" and move it to the location in the document where you want to than the appearance of the signature to be. Repeat that for signature fields as you want. Users will sign by clicking on the prepared unsigned signature field which shows the dialog box "sign. Do not forget that as TSN has noted that a digital signature applies to the entire document. The entry in the document where it is is irrelevant. Each next signature covers all previous signatures.

Your users can also sign a document from anywhere that they want without signature fields already prepared. For this select fill & sign-> work with certificates and the type of signing you want to sign up with. A dialog box that will tell you a rectangle for the appearance of signature rises and after you draw the rectangle of the dialog 'Sign' rises.

PDF/Acrobat doesn't have a limit on a number of signatures in a PDF document. But! Don't forget that when you open a PDF file with Acrobat/Reader signatures valid all of them and takes time (several seconds - until 10 - for every signature), so if you have several signatures of dozens of their validation open can take a long time.

I don't know how build you your workflow so that each person signs the same PDF and saves it. Economy runs on the same computer where the PDF is stored. You'll have to decide how to allow different people to have access to the same PDF. They, of course, you may sign this only one-at-a-time PDF.

  • Code to get the data in the child table in composite SOA using the IOM APIs

    Hi all

I am a new bie to IOM. I have a query related to obtaining data in the child table using the API of the IOM in the task of embeded java SOA composite.

I've created a workflow that has a form of child of providing service of slef. I created a composite SOA custom also approval. In the composite approval I have embedded java code and I want to get the values entered in the child form using the API IOM inot the java code embeded in composite SOA.

I tried gettting the child form data by using getChildAttributes(), but I'm getting the following exception.

Thanks in advance for the help.

When you're in approvals, there is no form of process data. Process form data would come only when approvals are completed. If you want to read data from the child form of the DataSet (i.e. the form object as in OIM9.x) you can use the RequestService on the id of the request and read the data. Or another approach would be to the child the dataset data value in the payload of the request and read the XML payload in the composite.
Let me know if you need more information about the second approach. As for the first approach, search through the forums here and you should find my previous posting on how to reach child dataset values using the ask service API.

    Hello

I'm provision the resource in the IOM with the APIs of the IOM. I know that the API to use is provisionObject (long plUserKey, long plObjectKey). The problem is that I have some data to be set manually on the form of courses, so I have to send it via the API.

Please guide me how can I set the shape of process data and then provide a resource of IOM with the APIs.

You can do it in both directions.
    1. you can use adapter pre-population.
    2. you can use the API.

  • The digital signature does not not after 11.0.09 update.

    Hello

I use Adobe Acrobat Pro XI at the office and was able to use the digital certificate provided by my company and stored in the Windows certificate store to digitally sign PDF documents. After the update (11.0.09) that has stopped working; When I try to sign a document, I'm invited to create a digital ID or choose an existing one from a file; A digital ID for roaming, accessible through the server; A device connected to this computer. However, I can't use existing ID which is always available in the Windows certificate store and used to work before.

(The same thing happens with the digital signature in Adobe Reader after the update).

Has changed nothing about how certificates are used for digital signatures with this last update?

    Thank you.

    Kind regards
    Cornel.

Take a look at my question. Possibly related: can use GoDaddy certificate to sign into Microsoft Office Word 2010, but not in Adobe Acrobat XI 10.0.09

  • Digital signature in the same field or FreeType?

    Hello

I have created a form for someone who wants to be able to use a digital signature or free type in the same field.

I tried to create a new combo box with the free type as the first option, but can't seem to find a way to get a digital signature as the second option.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get these two options in a field?

    Thanks in advance.

No, it is not possible. You will need to use two different areas.

  • Digital signature field

I can't find the Digital Signature field in MS.

I have created a form for a client who wants to capture a Digital Signature.

In the form toolbar prepare there is 'Add a Signature' and 'add a signature block '. I have used these and define the field as "signature", but when I open the form in Reader, the field accepts just plain text. I used before digital signature field and it always comes with the red marker on the ground.

This option is no longer in DC, or am I missing something?

    Thank you

What you have done is created a form that is compatible with the services of E-sign of Adobe (Adobe sign, electronic signaturesonline, formerly EchoSign |) Adobe Document Cloud ), which is quite different and incompatible with digital signatures. In form editing mode, select the button "More" and select "Return to Acrobat Form". You will then be able to add a digital signature field.

  • PDF encryption and digital signature pdf

    Hello

Hoping to get help because I'm new to encryption of pdf and pdf digital signatures.  My question is: can I get a digital signature and encryption in a single document? (Acrobat Pro XI)

In our company that we would have to encrypt a PDF using "encrypt with password.  This is where we can choose "the encryption level: 256 bit AES" and also restrict printing or changes...  After you save the pdf document, the word "(SECURE)" appears after the file name in the title bar.

We now introduce the use of digital signatures with our documents.  I sign the document using 'sign with certificate' and then try to "encrypt" the document.  I get an error 'you cannot modify security on this document, because the document is signed or certified.

I try to have a user signs the document and encrypt the document, so it is not allowed to print or make changes later.  Is this possible?

Any changes made to a document breaks the signature (or is blocked because of this).

Security setting changes the document, so it would break the signature (or is blocked because of this).

Then you must first define security and LAST train a signature. (Of course safety must allow to sign!)

Be sure to keep a document before one of these is done, as the cancellation is not always possible.

  • Risks associated with digital signatures

We seek to develop a process to use digital signatures on PDF documents, send them by e-mail to a manager of the line, which adds digital signature as a "seal of approval" which then emails to a special processing Department. Are there risks associated with the use of digital signatures in adobe and the General best practices for their use or best practices to mitigate the risks associated with them.

Yes, when you create a self-signed, you are prompted for the password, and you need to re - enter whenever you sign something. In addition, the private key file must be available on the computer used to sign (so just guess that the password doesn't get you very far).

If a document has been signed and the suite changed, information on the State and what a change appears in the Signatures Panel:

  • Removal of signatures in a digital signature field

Hi all, I have a question about the above topic that I hope
    you guys can help me

    (1) is it possible to remove the digital signatures of the form? For example
If you have a form go through several stages of approval requiring
signatures and then a step that happened to reject, it would be good to
remove the previous signatures so that they can be signed again.

    (2) and finally is there a simpler way to combine digital signatures
and the management of rights, then what appeared in the pdf document provided by
Duane (second post from the bottom of the thread)? When creating a policy, there is

a checkbox for "filling in form fields and signing." This forsomething's else?

    Thank you!
    Billy

    (1) is it possible to remove the digital signatures of the form?

ANSWER: A signature can not be removed ("unsigned") if the system or the user has access to the "private" key used to generate the signature in the first place.  For example, let's say that signs of the user has a PDF file... Only the user can unsign this PDF.  If you were to use LC Digital Signatures ARE to "unsign" a PDF file, you will need to have all the 'Powers' potential user and passwords of credentials stored in the store of approvals for LC would have access to private keys to unsign a signature field.  It's not very feasible if the number of potential signatories.

    (2) at - it a simpler way to combine the rights management and digital signatures

ANSWER: The combination digital signatures and rights management is not complicated.  You just need to be aware of the "order of operations" required.  Always 'Encrypt' everything first (rights Mgt, certificates and password can be used for encryption) "Certify" (assuming you certify the PDF), then add rights of Extension of the detector (assuming you want to extend the functionality of the document for the reader)

The reason why the above order is necessary...  When you sign a document, a hash is generated according to the document, if you then encrypt the signed document, you change the document, which in turn a different hash to be generated... This breaks the signature.

With regard to the "filling of form fields and signing" policy option, it's a 'permission' that you can enable or disable PDF forms with a strategy applied by RM for example, A PDF has a policy applied where the user has 'filling in form fields and signing' andf enabled permission, user B does not work.  A user can open the screen and interact with him by filling and or sign the form.  User B would be able to 'see' the form.  This permission is relevant only with RM in order to protect the PDF Forms.  Also, it should not be confused with the permission of Reader Extensions to allow Digital Signatures in Reader.

For example, if you wanted a form of 'Certified' must be filled out and signed by the user with Adobe Reader, you will need to:

Apply a policy to the PDF document where the user has been "filling in form fields and signing" permission enabled, then apply a signature to "Certify" who had permission from "Allow complete and sign form" enabled, then drive to extend the PDF form that allows the authorization of "Digital Signatures" that activates the functionality of Digfital Signatures in the drive for this particular form.

It may seem complicated, but it's really not

  • Peovisioning attribute to multiple values in a table SQL using the GTC in detail

I have a recon trust implemented Sun LDAP for IOM followed to auto put into service at table 'MyUser' to SQL using GTC. It works great so far.

Now the difficult part of the requirements. I have a multivalued attribute called "AppRoles" associated with Sun's LDAP user. I would like access to this attribute to the 'MyUserToRole' of SQL table (this is a picture of detail table Master "MyUser"). What should be the best approach to this task?

    Thank you!
    Kabi

    For the look-up:
Once you run Trusted Recon, all your AppRoles are inserted in this research and the different lines for different users. Use the IOM API for this. A basic structure could be as follows:

    Code - Decode
    User01 - Role01, Role02
    User02 - Role02, Role03, Roel04
    User03 - Role08, Role12

In this way all the roles are stored in this research. Bu the only problem with it could be the change in the look upwards manually which could be tolerated as there are glitches with almost all of the solutions implemented.
    --------------------

For the field of the UDF
Yes, their would be a limitation in the text box and it is * 200 * characters. So if that's the case then you should go for the look-up which has no such restrictions at least for your condition.
