Using the external keyboard with keyboard internal
Hi people,
Just got my new Tecra S4-122, of course without a built-in numeric keypad, so I have such a thing too. The problem now is that I'm not able to use the numbers on the keyboard without having to activate the internal "keyboard" (letters using normal numbers), is not really useful, because I can't use it during the strike. Is there a solution to activate ONLY the external keyboard (Labtec thing on USB)?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards
PhIP
Hello
Unfortunately, it s seems there is not other way to allow the keyboard with FN + F11.
Best regards

How to use the external screen with my Satellite M30?
Hi guys, I have the following problem:
I have a portable Satellite M30-642 former. My keyboard it is completely broken (spilled something on it) so I use an external USB keyboard.
Now that I bought a TFT I wanted to use it as a primary device, so I need to take the laptop to the external output.
The laptop itself recognizes as a secondary screen already, but this isn't what I want.
Problem is I can't switch from the display without the FN key devices!I tried to search the net and this forum - but the solution posted does not work for the M30. There is no option in the utility of HW and not in the BIOS to enable the external keyboard support.
Please is there any other combination of keys that would work or a software utility that allows me to turn on? It's a really bad situation for me :(All solutions anyone? :(
Greetings and thanks in advance
HQHello
Please don't be crazy on me but I write here very often and somehow try to help, but I'm still irritated if someone thinks that anything is possible. Unfortunately, you have to accept that sometimes there is hardware limitation and there is nothing to do.
I want to talk about primary and secondary monitor. On most laptops, the LCD is always set as primary and cannot be changed. So, as far as I know, without using the FN + F5 key combination you extend the desktop to external display and use both of them. Using display settings you should be able to switch to an external display only (display control panel settings NVIDIA advance settings and so on). Please test only because I don't have M30, but the principle is used the same.
If you will be able to use external display only try to restart your laptop and see on which screen the office will be shown. If you will be lucky and office will be shown on the external display, try to extend the desktop to second monitor (laptop LCD).
Good bye

NB100: keyboard problem internal after changing the language on the external keyboard
Hello
I bought a brand new Toshiba NB100.
Due to the size of the keybord th (and the odd choice of colored letters grey on the keyboard), I bought an external keyboard as well.
My settings of language is Norwegian, but the external keyboard is US.
So I did it in Norwegian. The problem is that now, whenever I'm not using the external keyboard, the integrated keyboard is foreign to any language and has 'invented' his own which means I have to press the Fn key in order to access the normal letters and the number zero.
I tried to remove the keyboard drivers and retart in the hope to return to the original values, but anything will do.
Hope someone can help me.
I'm not sure, but have you tried turning on FN + F11 / turn off?
Or maybe Control Panel > regional and language options > tab regional options or languages?
Try different settings.

using an external keyboard midi recording
Hi, im relatively new to this software and vsti plugins. I wonder if I can use an external keyboard to trigger midi sounds using the plugin vsti in audition. the keyboard that I use is quite ugly and not expensive keyboard (YAMAHA PortaSound PSS-50), but I use this to test the functions of vsti on hearing before buying a better keyboard.
After I plugged the keyboard of my computer using audio jacks, I went to the multitrack interface on hearing. Then I clicked on midi track insert. Then I clicked on the button red "L" and then clicked on sequencer. Sequencer, in the upper right corner, I have no midi device to select from and I chose the 3 plugins vsti provided by adobe. What can I do to use the external keyboard to play sounds?
And is it possible to explain the concept of plugins VSTi midi sounds? Any response will be greatly appreciated!
The first thing you must connect your keyboard to the computer using MIDI cables, not audio. (Has PSS-50 taken lunch? I think not enough. If so, you cannot use it in any VSTi in all control program). If the keyboard has not taken MIDI, you certainly need to connect to your PC via some sort of MIDI interface, which converts the MIDI plugs DIN 5 pin USB
Second, once you've done a MIDI connection between the keyboard and the hearing, created a MIDI, go in the sequencer track (if you have not already done so AA then sweeps the VSTi installed on your computer). Once the operation is finished the sequencer window open fully. On the left hand side, you must select your choice (drop-down) VSTi. Immediately below it is a second drop-down list, where you say AA which of the 16 MIDI channels, it should meet. If you are just "experimenting"
is fine. You mention that you went in the Display Preferences of the top right; If you have made connections correctly between the keyboard and the PC, the keyboard is listed here, and you will need to select it by clicking on the button next to its name.
I don't think that you need no matter what detail more than that at the moment. We must establish definitely if your keyboard can produce MIDI data; If it can't do anything that you can do without a 'best '.
Post back with your "discoveries".
Jeff
EDIT: just checked and confirmed, PSS - 50 does NOT catch MIDI so does not do what you want.

I had to get my laptop because of the buttons keyboard not working not properly. I use an external keyboard, but I can't access my wifi. I tried to use the F12 key to activate the wifi on the external keyboard, but with no luck. Any help would be appreciated...
Unfortunately - your wifi controls can be BUILT INTO the keyboard that is PART of your laptop.
There may be other methods to turn your specific wifi - you should contact the manufacturer of the system and/or read all documentation of any system make and model you have.

Why the AutoCorrect shuts off when I use the Smart keyboard on my iPad Pro?
I just got my Smart keyboard, and it works well for me, but for the automatic correction. I don't understand why it does not work when I use the Smart keyboard? In settings, keyboard, I see that it is turned on. I turned off and turned on, but no luck.
It's boring and I'm now feeling that it has been intentionally disabled.
Here's how it works on a keyboard regular blue tooth. We could guess that the AutoCorrect is there to help with the challenges of using the keyboard on the screen, which is not necessary on a standard keyboard.

Hello
http://gumbo.flashhub.NET/keyboard/
It is a small example of a 'virtual' keyboard that will enter the text into a textinput/textarea component selected. Capslock and shift key States really aren't quite right (really need control shift/cap lock combo), but there is a simple tab and backspace (delete) and enter the function key.
hope this is useful

How to use the software keyboard Toshiba 50L9450VE TV?
I just bought a LED TV model 50L9450VE. When installing, I need to enter the password for the wifi network. The remote doesn't have a keyboard of the letter, and the TV shows a soft keyboard to enter the password. How to use the software keyboard? I can't figure out how to get the cursor in it; the manual does not say, and I can't find the information online. Thank you.

Suppose you are from Israel? Although this model is not made for the EU market, but probably for the Asian market, it looks like the European L93 series.
You will find how to operate the software keyboard (page 52): http://www.toshiba-om.net/pdf/manual...h-Specific.pdf -
I use to be able to use the virtual keyboard when I logged my Bank. now it has stopped working.
Try a system restore to a Date before the problem began:

Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Hello
You can declare the event directly click handler MXML online, you don't need the initfunc() on creationComplete:
You need not switch in handleEvent, a line will do everything:
TextBox.Text += button .label (event.currentTarget);
The only advantage I see declaring all these components button in MXML, you can visually position the keys by using Design view in Flex Builder.

How to use two external monitors with my laptop?
I have a new Pavilion dm4-301 d cl Entertainment PC. My OS is Windows 7. I'm used to using two external monitors with a docking station. This new laptop lacks a docking station. What should I do use two external monitors?
Certainly not without a dock, but even with laptop HP well enough docks limit you to one of the ports on the external monitor, even if there are two on the dock. We used a device called an Atlona AT-HDPIX2 which is a USB to hdmi adapter. It provides a feature of third monitor for a laptop... use the native external port of the screen and the computer screen internal, then this device gives a third control that is fully configurable to display Windows 7 interface... clone, extend, etc.. It allows a full HD resolution and is pretty responsive for games even light. HP does not have any true docking station for your laptop.
