  You can not arbitrarily put a font on a web site or the server from a simple technically. And Yes, even the web fonts require an appropriate license, then contact the supplier of fonts and buy an appropriate web use license.

  To clarify, there was never a 10.6.8 released on record as an installable OS. You install 10.6.3 (the last version released of the snow leopard), then apply the 10.6.8 Combo Update.

  What you see, is very typical of a corrupted font book database. Replace the app does nothing to remedy.

  Follow 1 a or 1 b depending on the version of Mac OS X you have. If you can't find the com.apple.FontRegistry file in your user account preferences folder, then it is easier to use 1A rather than trying to dig through several hidden files.

  1 a) restart your Mac and immediately press and hold the SHIFT key when you hear the startup chime for a safe boot. Now keep the SHIFT key until OS X asking you to sign in (you will get this screen on a Safe Mode boot, even if your Mac automatically connect). Let the Mac has finished boot to the desktop and then restart it normally. You can release the SHIFT key right here. Yosemite is a little different. Whether a boot Safe Mode or a regular, you get the same progress bar. It takes just as long to reach the office in Mode safe. Then hold the SHIFT key until you get to the desktop. This will delete the font book database and cache files for the account you logged in Mode safe. Restart again normally.

  1 (b) for a period of time, the font book database file, com.apple.FontRegistry, was buried deep in the private/var/folders/.../-Caches-/ folder. In later versions of Mac OS X, it is much easier to remove. Quit the font book. Open the Preferences folder in your user account, put the com.apple.FontRegistry file in the trash and restart. More fast than method 1 where you will need to restart twice. If you are using Snow Leopard, use 1 a method because this file is located in the private hidden folder.

  Leopard or an earlier version, font sets, that you have created will be gone. In addition, all the fonts in the main three folders of fonts (System, library, your user account) will now be active, regardless of their status beforehand. In Snow Leopard, your games will remain intact.

  About a month or two ago, we reorganized our entire website and used a font typekit on each page of our Web site.  Everything was fine and we love him... until now.  We just did with the 2015.2 update.   When I open the file of our Web site it says that we use a font of the typekit that is not available with our current plan!  Our current plan has not changed.  We have already published our site using this typekit fonts... And now, each of our web pages has duplication of text, photos, captions, etc... It's a mess to say the least.  I'll need help to remedy this situation.  What happens here?

  I tried creative cloud signature and signature as suggested on another thread of discussion.  The police has been 'Futura PT Medium' if that helps anything.

  For Mac->

  (1) sign of Muse (Help menu > Sign Out)

  (2) close all Adobe applications.

  (3) then, open the activity monitor. You can use the spotlight search to look for.

  Quit 4) Adobe all processes including service bureau Adobe Creative cloud, CoreSync,.

  (5) open the Finder. Press command + SHIFT + G set

  (6) in the go to folder dialog box, which appears, type:

  ~/Library/application support/Adobe

  And press return.

  (7) look for a folder named, OOBE. And rename it to OOBE_old

  (8) open the Muse. Then, on the file menu, click on "Add/Remove web fonts. Test if this displays all errors, or load the fonts available.

  Bo is just fine. Unless the font you want to edit with is actually installed on your system, there is no way for Acrobat allow editing text that uses this font, regardless of whether or how much of the police is embedded in the PDF itself. There are technical and legal issues related to it, or which can be quickly explained here.

  Since I don't have Helvetica Neue LT Std installed on my computer systems, I tried using the function to change to the text from Acrobat to edit the text with the different faces of Helvetica Neue LT Std family. No problem! Assuming you are actually trying to change the text, if you have the fonts installed on your system, you should be good to go, so to speak.

  HOWEVER, be aware that there is a big difference between the use of a font for text editing rather than using the same font for a field of forms (including form fields that are not the user to fill out)! Restrictions on what fonts you can use forms fields are much stricter. A font used for a field of forms should not only be installed on your system for the creation of the field forms, but police must also have the license field allows Editable Embedding. Creating a field of forms with a particular font issue in Acrobat integrating all the glyphs of the police in the PDF file such as anyone who receives the PDF can fill form fields using the specified font, even if this font is not installed on their system. In reality, more fonts available on the market allow only the Preview and print Embedding which is inadequate for use in forms. All Adobe Original family (designed by or specifically for Adobe) fonts like Myriad Pro, Minion Pro, Adobe Garamond Pro, etc. allow Editable Embedding.   I am a newbie to Dreamweaver and am trying to learn to use it through the tutorials. I am stuck at part 3, try to use Web Adobe Edge fonts correctly in my web site. I can say that I followed the instructions in the tutorial correctly, but the effect of font style is not displayed on my site. I work on a Windows 7 machine and using Dreamweaver 5.5. I copied and pasted the javascript code in the correct point in the head of the index.html page that included the font family name in the CSS file and saved the whole smash. The source code of my index page looks exactly like the sample in the tutorial, and I tried see my site in my browser, but no dice. Does not display the Web dashboard font style in the web page. I think I did everything following the directions, but I guess I missed a detail. All suggestions greatly appreciated

  A simple way to get the correct codes is to go to Adobe Edge Web fonts and select the font you want to use.

  NOTE: You will not see the custom web fonts displayed in Design, Live View mode, or when you preview locally unless you use a local test server.  An easier way to test is by downloading the page on your remote server.
