• Email not appearing responses do not in discussions on the forum

  I get the forum messages sent to me by e-mail. When I receive a message, it says I have the opportunity to participate in the thread, is the forum page (I hate the web interfaces for the forums), or by replying to the email I received. I have responded to a number of positions, but do * not * see them in the thread, if I visit the forum page. In fact, I don't see them at all (this is why no one answered my questions, I guess :-)).

  Anyway, if I sign in the forums and go to look at my profile, I see links to the son, to which I replied and a line that says: I replied to this thread. However, if I click on the link to the thread and go read the entire thread, I don't see my answers by e-mail at all.

  No idea what I'm doing wrong, or why I can't meet a forum Announces by email? I had to visit the page of the forum, to ask this question.

  You do not have something wrong.  If you reply to a message by direct e-mail you are bypassing the forum and there is no way for the comment to display.  Yes, you have the opportunity to respond anyway.  But if you want that your comments will be posted on the forum you must use the forum to respond.

  recently, I got used to browse the forum for questions and interesting topics, or perhaps even for problems where I could contribute a little.

  However I think this suboptimal browsing experience because about 10-15% of all messages are a waste of time for two reasons:

  (1) the question does not belong to the CVI at all. Here, I admire the patience of Roberto Bozzolo et al. emphasizing the wrong forum. Still, these entries. I would say that these messages could be transferred to the right place by an administrator.

  (2) I can't read Chinese, I do not understand Spanish and other languages and more. Although there is this button "Select community" on the Web page, it has no effect (for my browser, IE7). I expect some sort of filtering mechanism...? Anyway, I can't read or understand the messages are useless to me. Why people can't ask questions in English? Language of the CVI is too English...

  Of course I can live with that, but in general, I am an optimist and hope that things can be improved...

  I'm having a problem loading and using my Adobe Photoshop CS3. This is the third time that I use this forum. I us a PC. The operating system is "Microsoft Windows 7 Home prem". I recently had to remove from my hard drive and reload the operating system with all the updates and load to the top of my existing software. All my software works except my Photoshop CS3, which I use most. I loaded the software disc and download online. The system of charge very well and activation is complete.  Here are the main things that don't work properly, I have noticed so far. First of all, I can't open my camera RAW (I can with my Lightroom software, but not with my Photoshop software?). So I can't open any of my files of digital camera? Second, I can open a .jpeg file and use the Photoshop software and I can save the changes, but when I turn off my calculated the software doesn't seem to be on my computer. When I go to Windows ' search program and files "software is not located here. When I go to "Uninstall" the software of the foldername is there it is. "Photoshop CS3" but there isn't any size file to it IE 400 MB, while my software "Lightroom" on the 'uninstall' section will have a file for example size 400 MB tied to it. Thirdly, I also have a photosoftware of B + W, which operated in Photoshop; It's "NIK software - Silver Efex Pro" and it is located in the subtitle of 'filter' of Photoshop CS3. I use Silver Efex and all functions are working properly, but I can't save the file, it does not save the changes to save.

• HP ENVY 360: Used aswr Forum to install the update to the Bios of HP laptops, but SUP Assist does not recognize

  The laptop BIOS update failed in the support Assistant.  Has found the solution on the Forum, which has successfully installed.  Support Wizard reports that the update must be installed after the reboot to finish installing the bios update.  Why can't support assistant recognize the update is complete and it's a matter of remove the updated rating in SA and display it as was not?

  HPSA can be buggy sometimes. I would dismiss the alert about the BIOS.

  Whenever I select a color using the eyedropper icon small (used to be a magnifying glass) in the color picker, the cursor goes away after I made the choice of colors.

  I have that experience under El Capitan, but I had the same problem in Yosemite as well as Mavericks and on Mac computers. I've seen this behaviour being reported in the forum for older versions, such as the Mountain Lion, but never with a real solution (workaround has been on creating a new user and delete the old).

  I hope someone has a solution for now.

  The eyedropper tool worked very well for me and still does (I just checked).

  If creating a new user solves the problem then, you have some corrupted in your account settings, or, less likely, you run an application (possibly a connection point) which is the origin of the problem.

  I recently bought a wifi (luminance) surround system.  It comes with 3 routers that you place around your home.  Unfortunately I still have stains died in my house I'm looking to add my Airport Extreme (AE) to Luma network.  Is it as simple as plug the AE to the network (via Ethernet) and the bridge mode selection in the configuration of EI?

  I can see the AE of my iMac, and it is green.  How do you know that actually extend the wifi of my router Luma range?

  Basically, you want to create a mobile network with your Luma and AirPort Extreme routers. As you said, the extreme would need to be connected to the luminance by Ethernet and reconfigured as a bridge.

  In addition, the following are also required on the extreme:

  • Wireless mode: create a wireless network
  • The network name must be the same as that used by the Luma.
  • The type of wireless security and the password must match that of the luminance as well.

  To 'know' that the extreme extends the network of Luma, simply consult the BSSID value in the drop-down of OS X Wi - Fi. It must match the ID of the airport on your base station. Note: You must hold down the option key before clicking on the icon of the free Wi - Fi connection.

• I can't remove the listing from my windows 7 64 bit uninstaller list foxytunes - when I try Firefox doesn't close 100% until I have use the resource monitor.

  FoxyTunes is long gone, but the list is not going to disappear. I used Safe Mode to remove the offending registry keys possible. I tried using the Microsoft tool for this, but do not '28 character code' for Foxy Tunes. I would like this list missing, especially due to the fact that to try to remove Firefox "misbehave."   Problem solved! At a Microsoft forum, a competent contributor recommended theRevo Uninstaller program. It worked perfectly. One caveat - it allows the user to remove registry keys. It must be checked in a box, so there will be no inadverdent mistake, but those who have not worked in the registry keys must be very careful
