  Do now () - 120 is a very simplistic way to look at it because it is highly ambiguous. IE: NOW less 120 "what?" Minutes? Seconds? Years? Petroleum products?

  Accuracy is the key. Now() gives a timestamp (a real timestamp DATA TYPE object!), so I guess you mean days.

  Timestamp data types are changed (projected through time) using the TIMESTAMPADD function, which in your case would by this formula:

  ActionScript 3.0 has the ACE operator because it circumvents a gap with the cast operation () in ActionScript. Consider this:

  The absolute difference in the operators, is that if the cast variable is not of the correct type, the as operator returns null while the operator () throws an exception:

  The feeling here at Adobe is to use the as operator because it is not ambiguous and just check for Null. If you prefer to catch exceptions and know when X (y) is a cast vs a conversion, then use it. More of a preference, but sometimes only that to do what you need.

  In my tests I couldn't use a host physical diskwith a Windows 7 without setting the disc 'offline '.
  But then you can set the diskette from Windows Startup 'offline '.

  Using Linux or 2003, you don't have this problem.

  I have a static website html/css, created with DW. I have like a local site on my computer and also have downloaded on a remote host (fatcow) server. It uses a temporary domain/address under development and will replace an exisitng site once completed.

  I want to be able to work on a copy of the blog 'offline' on my local computer.

  So I have installed xampp and it works correctly on the C drive of my computer. Then I copied my entire local site folder in a folder under the xampp/htdocs. So, next I copied the folder that contains the installation of the remote host to fatcow wordpress (I named it 'blog'), I created and pasted in my local installation. So now I have localhost/xampp/perspective-blog-test/blog.

  Mark, the problem is that you are importing into a database.  Basically, what you have to do is this:

  -Connect to phpMyAdmin

  -Click on databases at the top (in the right frame)

  -Create a new database.  If you want to imitate as much as you can from the remote site, it exactly the same name.

  -Then click on this database from the base of the left hand.

  -Now you can click on import of the right hand of the window frame

  What you were clicking was previously the button import for a whole database and not only the tables in the database.  Because there was no import of data in this file that you and he had only tables, SQL server has generated this error.

I then easily reset on my preference (bing.com) and as long as the PC is on, if I close and Open firefox it keeps bing.com as my home page. I could do this 20 x and it will keep the bing.com homepage. However when I shut down and restart the PC, firefox goes back to the use of the IE homepage (on the intranet of the work). Is there a permanent way to fix this. Our IT Department has been no help. Started a week before what is happening they upgraded our computers to internet explore 11. I tried to reset Firefox but that does not solve the problem.

  Hi hunted, something is change or replace your prefs.js file.

  Maybe you can thwart it by creating a user.js file. This file is read at startup of Firefox and replace prefs.js. Basically, it only needs a single line, if you could open prefs.js in a text editor after you have corrected to the homepage preference, use Save as to create user.js and then remove all the lines and save/close.
