Using TMS to manage several microcontrollers

You can use TMS to manage several microcontrollers, say some microcontrollers for ad hoc conferences and other microcontrollers for planned?

There might be better ways to achieve this goal, but off the top of my head:

  1. You can assign some microcontrollers to the same area of the IP assigned to endpoints, these would be used for conferences scheduled, while the remaining MCUs are assigned to a different area of intellectual property and used for ad-hoc conferences.  Different areas in mode using IP will keep the ad-hoc MCU are not used by TMS in scheduled conferences.
  2. You can keep the area of intellectual property the same for all the MCUs and endpoints, but disables the option 'Allow booking' for the ad-hoc MCU, this will prevent ad-hoc microcontrollers are used in scheduled conferences.

That's all assuming that you're not plan calls, ad hoc, but just let the user to the ad-hoc MCU connect from the endpoint.  For tracking, you can use CCC to follow planned and ad hoc conferences on microcontrollers.  See the 'Routing' section on page 32 and "CCC" section on pg 181 in the TMS 15.2 Administrator's Guide.

Conductor would probably be the best solution here to help manage multiple microcontrollers.
