  Problem has been resolved by downloading a new version of the Comcast toolbar. They use to automatically update this bar tools, but for some reason stopped mines updated. But problem is now solved by this new version, the toolbar is now visible on the screen.

  IIRC you need also the namespace statement, below, the first thing in your userChrome.css file. So it would look like:

  When I open the Mail I often get the message ' download 'X' to 'Y' messages '. The value of is usually is 66. The value of X, the last time I did was 37. Download thermometer shows progress, but no new emails are appearing. I think that there is no 66 emails, download, so I'm closing Mail.   I don't know if I have the same problem or not, on my iMac OSX 10.11.6. I'm afraid that mail which would have said that it is "Download" (and does not appear anywhere), is found in cyberspace somewhere!

  I've updated to the latest version of flash player 11.4.402.287 today, the two versions of activex or plugin appear in flash Manager. However, I'm unable to play youtube flash videos, the bar at the top shows "Install missing plugin" I repeated the installation process, it does not appear to complete successfully, but even once when trying to play youtube videos, the "install missing plugin appears" and the videos will not play.

  I have also installed and re installed the last version of firefox today, thought that can help, seem to have the same problem. The flash player is not listed in the plugin adds on the list. I don't know what else to do, or what could be the problem.

  One of my progrmas opens but it does not display it shows up on top of the taskbar and indicates that running on the Task Manager, but the program does not appear on my screen.   What version of windows are you running? If Win7, try running in compatibility mode for win xp...

  How can I find my model number or product number?

  I understand that you had a problem with the touchpad for months because it is not responding. Although the driver is listed in programs and features in the Device Manager is not listed.

  Have you checked for virus and malware?

  Have you done all Windows updates?

  Have you tried to run the troubleshooter in Windows?

  Did you run HP Support Assistant to facilitate updates of HP?

  First you would try this step.  Some models, you can enable or disable the touchpad by double clicking on the top left corner of the touch pad.  Please see if it is applicable for you.

  Then in Device Manager, view hidden devices and search the hardware changes see if the touchpad now will be seen.

  Here is a link to the HP laptops - use and troubleshooting of the TouchPad and ClickPad (Windows 8) that should help you too.

  I have occasionally to store a pdf file, I received as an attachment to e-mail and discover that the file does not appear in a search, even if it is in the directory, and I have no problem opening it. I can solve the problem by renaming the file, and then rename it again, back to what it was originally.

  I decided that the file name does not begin with special characters, and the status bits seem normal. But I have two files, using the same naming format, and one of them shows up in a search, the other is not the case.

  If someone can explain to me what is happening here, I can probably came up with a remedy on mine. I'm just confused as to what is the cause.
