  As you can see for days nobody anything post here. I think the reason is quite simple. Linux is not supported and most people use the preinstalled operating system.
  I think you should try to find the answer on the Ubuntu forum. Here you can meet people with good experience of Ubuntu.

  As you probably know Toshiba doesn't support Linux OS if you won't find it on Toshiba support page. If no one here will be able to help, I recommend you to visit some forums of Linux and Linux experts ask if they can help you with this.

  Toshiba doesn't support all versions of Linux, and only the version preinstalled Windows is supported. Drivers are only available for Microsoft Windows.

  You need help from some Linux guy. You can find them in various Linux forums and they can give you an appropriate response.

  Linux is very stable under Windows. I'm using Linux Mint KDE 14.

  All the (public) drivers are installed automatically during the installation.

  If you are using the correct settings and good graphics drivers, it works, runs smooth buttered.
