v$-dynamic performance view

Hai all,

where are the tables $ v store...?

I know that these paintings just controlfile header.

According to oracle, first block of controlfile is controlfile header.

My doubt is that we have to almost 5000 v$ views among these tables of $ x.

So these views need huge space to store data (except x$ becz these comes from struct memory)

at the mount State db files in playback so I can say to these points of view v$ datafile... system?

v$ views created from x are structures of $.

  • Are from all points of view dynamic performance actually views of $ V_?

    DB version: 10G

    All dynamic performance views actually start with V_$? The views V$ (without the underline in the meantime) regularly access we are in fact synonymous to views V_$. Right?

    The views V$ are actually public synonyms for corresponding SYS. Views V_$.

    To list all views of $ V on your system:

    I want to create my own opinion that returns information about the database engine, as follows:

    create or replace view AfDbEngine as select 'ORACLE' as EngineType, version as EngineVersion of v$ instance

    However, I get the following error message:

    SQL error: ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

    When Trusted Oracle is configure in DBMS MAC, this error may occur
    If the user has been granted the privilege necessary for a higher label

    * Action: Ask the database to perform the operation or grant administrator
    the required privileges.
    For users Trusted Oracle get this error, well that granted the
    the privilege that is suitable for the top label, ask the database
    administrator to grant the privilege to the appropriate label.

    Am I really missing some privilege (which one?), or is he basically not allowed to question the views of $ v in my point of view? I have all the privileges necessary to assess the following:

    Select 'ORACLE' as EngineType, version as EngineVersion of v$ instance
    create or replace view AfDbEngine as select 'ORACLE' as EngineType ' 11.1.0.6.0"as the double EngineVersion

    but obviously I prefer not hardcode the version number in my definition of the view.

    Try to select grant the view directly to the user (instead of inherit to select through a role).

  • Performance views

    Hi guys,.

    I have a vision that is made for four different points of view.
    Now the problem is its taking a long time to run as the sub views have a lot of conditions and joins.
    What are the Options I have except Mview of the same to increase the performance of the main display.

    -Manish

    Hi Manish,

    normally, the optimizer tries to merge views, and if nothing prevents this to happen (such as the use of virtual analysis of function or rownum etc.), then a query against the view will be equivalent it terms of running queries on the underlying objects.
    In any case, we see the plan to give an opinion on the tuning.

    You can see whether or not your advice work by observing the changes in the plan.

  • Content VS App Deployment Performance Viewer

    I am having some problems with DPS for Android. The biggest problem with Android is HTML overlays. I understand from reading several messages that HTML is unreliable or just does not on Android devices. (I currently design for a Samsung Note 10.1.)

    When I access an HTML page that exists on a server from a link in the application that uses the built-in browser content viewers, the results are not consistent.

    For example, I have a soft, I'm actually binds to a type of work on my server. Sometimes, the page will be load and display the form, but it will soon disappear. Once I receive the form is displayed again, touch the textfields and trying to enter information do not work. It's as if it's a static image.

    If I test the same functionality on an iPad, it works very well, like what it is I'm doing.

    My question: is this isolated to Adobe Content Viewer or the content viewer reflect the performance of the Android app should be exported and deployed as an app for the Google Play store?

    Also, can you link out of the application and use the unit for the related items web browser?

    The biggest problem is HTML.

    Thanks for any help.

    Of course, there is the superposition of hypertext link where you can choose to open the link in the browser in the app or the device browser. Remember in browser application is not a full flight Navigator as the browser on the device. If the performance and reliability of the two different

  • Materialized with a dynamic column view.

    Hello

    Is it possible to use the materialized in function view.
    A column in the view is dynamic, which means that we are entering a parameter in the view.

    Thank you

    A way to "set view" in Oracle is to use "sys_context '.

    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E11882_01/server.112/e17118/functions184.htm#SQLRF06117

    You set the context and then you set your display that uses the sys_context parameter.

  • Creating dynamic materialized views: insufficient Privileges?

    Hi all

    I am currently doing a procedure that will recreate materialized views as columns are deleted or added to a table by the selection of the user to the application level. I wrote the procedure, and it displays the correct syntax to create a materialized view. However once I pass this dynamic sql statement to be executed immediately, it fails, saying: I don't have sufficient privileges. I have sysdba grants on this user in my dev environment. What Miss me? Has it something to do with immediate execution and the privileges associated with the use that? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Kind regards
    TimS

    Within a stored (by default) procedure DEFINER rights, only the privileges that are granted directly to the user, not those granted through a role as SYSDBA, are available.

    -If you change the stored procedure to use the rights of the applicant, the privileges granted through a role are visible. However, this requires that the appellant, not the owner of the procedure has the permissions to create the materialized view.
    -If you grant the CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW privilege (and all other privileges your code requires) directly to the user, which would also solve the problem.

  • Dynamic performance of plsql block of relaxation.

    Dear oracle Experts.
    I'm using the following oracle database.

    Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0 - 64bi
    PL/SQL Release 10.2.0.4.0 - Production
    CORE 10.2.0.4.0 Production
    AMT for Linux: release 10.2.0.4.0 - Production
    NLSRTL Version 10.2.0.4.0 - Production

    I have a problem in the execution of the trigger. I have a small plsql block in the trigger, and I want to run it as a dynamic medium. but it gives the error. Please find the code of the trigger. Here my intension is that the column name used in trigger must be dynamic. In the future, if I want to pass the name of the column, I do without modification in the trigger.
    The error im getting is "ORA-01008: not all variables.

    Or y at - it another way to achieve this goal. Please suggest your ideas. Thank you!!!

    CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER ETM_AR_IU

    INSERT INTO hema_clob VALUES (: NEW.'|) V_COL_NAME |') ;
    END IF;
    END;';
    IMMEDIATELY RUN PL_SQL_BLOCK;
    END;

    As immediate execution will execute the code as if it were a separate process of the trigger, this dynamic PL/SQL block is unlikely to have access to the: NEW and: OLD trigger variables.

    Dynamic SQL is pretty bad.
    Dynamic PL/SQL is just stupid.
    Dynamic PL/SQL within a trigger... ' enough said.

    Once an instance is started, the views V$ read from memory are accessible. Views that reads data from disk require that the database mounted, and some require that the database be open.

    Hello

    Dynamic performance views are useful to get space on the undo tablespace information

    Contains statistics for monitoring and tuning undo space. Use this view to help estimate the amount of undo space required for the current workload.
