• HP Support Assistant - telephone number incorrect for the Germany

  Let's not the phone number indicated in HP Support Assistant for the Germany. Under the button 'Contact support' location Germany selected, 'call HP"indicates phone number 01805 65 21 80. This phone number no longer in service.

  The right phone numbers are on http://www8.hp.com/de/de/contact-hp/phone-assist.html and in my case, it would be + 49 69 2999 3434 for support for portable computers.

  I used the Feedback button in the HP Support Assistant to report the problem on the wrong telephone number.

  The about button / check for the latest version on HP Support Assistant version: 7.0.39.15 (running on the laptop of HP ENVY 15 TS) came back with the result that the latest version is already installed. I noticed that on the page of the driver for my laptop, this 7.3.35.20 Version sp62291.exe is available. Once I had downloaded and installed this new version, support for the Germany phone numbers appear correctly.

• How can I reset 'default' browser / navigator / telephone number selector?

  I discovered that the selection of a default option apparently cannot be changed after the selection. I found this to be true in the quick contact applet - I checked the area and then quickly selected the wrong telephone number. I had to remove that number by editing the contact.

  Similarly, I was exploring "Pocket Agent" by State Farm Insurance. I chose to find a hotel and the option of maps and Verizon Navigator came with the default selection box. I checked the place and selected wrong Navigator - I don't have a subscription to it and it won't work with the applet without subscription. I spoke with State Farm - they say that it is a default operating system used phone, not a fault of the program. I talked to Verizon tech support - they thought it was a fault of the preserved applet. They suggested resetting the data and cache (Nothing in it) of the application. I made these and nothing has changed. I even uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled - it retains the default value to use an unusable applet. I looked for Verizon Navigator in the list of applications, so I could explore these parameters, but it is not - which means that it cannot be uninstalled, either, I guess.

  How can I change this? I think that there is a 'register' somewhere that contains these default settings.

• Validation of a number in a text input field

  Hello:

  I can't find any tutorials on the validation of a number in a text with a button input field. Once the button is clicked, if the number is correct (in this case 90) a clip should be played (you have reason!), if it is incorrect, it must play a different clip (wrong answer!).

  I'm lost here , have not found anything. I use AS2 and Flash CS5.

  I found an old friend on facebook who subsequenty called me on his cell phone:

  DC, it has been added to facebook, it's already in my contacts. But its number of cell under recent calls does not show his name.

  Is there a way, click on this nuber and add it to an existing contact, or even a new contact for this question? The only choice I have is 'Clear list', and by selecting the element immediately initiates a telephone call.

  Press and hold on the number until the options pop up, then select Add to contacts. Alternatively, you can hit menu when when in contact, then the contact to a contact if the CLIQ facebook link isn't already do it for you as if there name is different.

  as this is not a standard (or even good idea) you would need a custom... field there may be a 3rd party widget it offers or otherwise you could code by hand.

  Understand that not all telephone numbers are the same, so if you force people to have 10 digits when their phone number is only 8 or 9, you just might be that person unreachable

  The problem is that the UI text entry field is showing always bad formatting as 1112223333 - and never use the phone.

  I guess it won't work because the indicators are not applied when you enter something.
