HP Support Assistant - telephone number incorrect for the Germany

The about button / check for the latest version on HP Support Assistant version: 7.0.39.15 (running on the laptop of HP ENVY 15 TS) came back with the result that the latest version is already installed. How can I reset 'default' browser / navigator / telephone number selector?
I discovered that the selection of a default option apparently cannot be changed after the selection. I found this to be true in the quick contact applet - I checked the area and then quickly selected the wrong telephone number. I had to remove that number by editing the contact.
Similarly, I was exploring "Pocket Agent" by State Farm Insurance. I chose to find a hotel and the option of maps and Verizon Navigator came with the default selection box. I checked the place and selected wrong Navigator - I don't have a subscription to it and it won't work with the applet without subscription. I spoke with State Farm - they say that it is a default operating system used phone, not a fault of the program. I talked to Verizon tech support - they thought it was a fault of the preserved applet. They suggested resetting the data and cache (Nothing in it) of the application. I made these and nothing has changed. I even uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled - it retains the default value to use an unusable applet. I looked for Verizon Navigator in the list of applications, so I could explore these parameters, but it is not - which means that it cannot be uninstalled, either, I guess.
How can I change this? I think that there is a 'register' somewhere that contains these default settings.

I just all new BB Curve 8900 on Vodafone. Its the first BB I've owned and I seem to have a bit of trouble. When I try to download the App World, I get the following error message:
"Device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Blackberry App World"
How can this be?
OK then... interesting for Vodafone to push support far... Well, by I guess.
So I guess that I change their instructions... rather than to remove an installed version of the AppWorld in the way they suggest, I suggest go to:
Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications
See if BB AppWorld is listed as installed. If so, highlight (but do not click) it and then press the BBKey and select Delete. If she wasn't there, then continue on these steps.
Then do a batt pull reboot:
With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
Then re - activate your THS:
Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > BBKey > sign up now
Then re - send all the service books:
Then do another reboot batt-pop.
Then, get a new link for AppWorld from here:
