  I tried for the life of me to get a new device from vro to register with my field of vcenter/sso. I have an external CSP and trying to do the vSphere mode.   What kind of DVD that you use to create a Toshiba Recovery disk? I have tried Verbatim DVD-R and TDK DVD-R and never had a problem with these discs. A friend tried DVD + R and he couldn t create a recovery disk. After he tried DVD-R and everything was fine but I do not know why this happened.
  So please try other discs.

  Also, check the Toshiba page for an update of the firmware of the CD/DVD drive. Maybe it will help you.

  I have a toshiba Satellite C650, who has recently developed with a disc read error. I want to access the command prompt to try some possible solutions I've read on the internet.

  I made a Windows 7 recovery disk using my other acer laptop which has also installed Windows 7 64-bit. When I use the recovery disk and it loaded the files etc it evokes just a black screen and the cursor.

  Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?
  I tried to start my computer acer laptop from the recovery disk and it worked fine.

  In my opinion, it has something to do with the HARD drive itself, I guess that it s a bad sector so Windows Setup can format t HARD drive properly. I mean before you tried to reinstall Windows, the system could not start due to a disc read error. This means that the files on the HARD disk are confused because of bad sectors

  You can install Windows Toshiba Recovery disk?

  If it doesn t work too, I'll try to replace the HARD drive. Usually, it is not complicated and can be done in 5 minutes.
  In addition, you can check the HARD disk for errors with diagnostic tools special as Drive Fitness Test. Google a bit for such tools, they are freeware, so it s no problem to find. ;)
