Value by the way for openDoc()

Hi all

I hope someone here can help solve my Riddle.

I am developing my form PDF using Adobe LiveCycle ES2. In the main screen, I have a button that opens another PDF form using the app.openDoc () method. I wonder if there is a way to transmit some values from the main form to the second form?

For example, form A and type B, the two have a text called "First name" field So when train opens a form B, the "First Name" text field in the form B should be filled by the neck of value in A form.

Help, please.

Kind regards

Steven

Hi Steven,

You can by using the app.media method.

There is an example here: http://assure.ly/qQivbm. I had the intention of this finish and publish a blog. The final challenge is to get the image data into the AcroForm.

It is a portfolio with three forms. The first is a form of XFA "program". It takes the entries in the fields both text and the image field and uses the method app.media to "disseminate" data as a package called "myData". You will see how declare us three variables (oName, etc.) with the values of the objects in this form.

The following form is a "receiver" XFA form This looks for the package "myData" and if it exists, it sets the value of the objects in this form, the data in the package.

The last form is an AcroForm. It also gives of myData, but for the moment it only processes the data of textfield. I'm working on the image data.

The script is located in various events of an object hidden in XFA forms (calculate the event of the form of the broadcasting and the form receiver docReady event). The AcroForm uses a script to document level.

Thus, it is an example of work. Note that for practical reasons I packed it in a portfolio, but you don't need to do. She also works for stand-alone files that are open on the same computer.

As I say, I'll probably have to finish it at some point, and after all the necessary explanations.

    You cannot reference variables as you did and get the value of the variable. Use pretty collection.

    set serveroutput on size 2000
    declare

  • How to change the value of the Application for all users?

    Hi, I work on Apex 3.2.1.00.12 which is installed on a database of Oracle 10 g Enterprise Edition Release 10.1.0.5.0

    I'll explain my problem... At the beginning of the application, the user choose a year, each year can have 3 status and based on the State to restrict or grant access to certain tabs, pages and options. I put the status of the year selected in an Application element and then I just use an authorization scheme to check if the user can access pages or options.

    The problem is that if the administrator changes the status of the current year (for example, 1-2), users who are currently in the application will have access to the options of the State 1, instead of the State 2 options. is there a way to change the value of this element for all users?

    Thank you.

    Force a disconnection of all users? You can't really affect the values of the sessions other than your own via a browser, and from the point of application is part of a single session...

    You could re-read the value of point of application of its source whenever you load a page or tab game...

  • Value of the loop 'For' pass before the complete loop - FPGA

    Hello

    8.5 LV, LV FPGA, PCI 7831-R FPGA Board

    I got a cramp of brain on this one.  I have a function (Arb. GIS read) that Im using to generate an arbitrary signal which I created in memory.  I can't move to the value of data however.  I don't know why I can not, its because it is nested in a "loop For" who runs indefinetly and updates only the value whenever it loops back to 'zero '.  Ideas quick and dirty on how to use this value as it is being updated in the loop in my hand vi?

    I've seen messages on the use of local variable 'Files' and property nodes, but I can not just give a sense the.  Maybe because it's FPGA, something is different/no supported?

    * My principal is 'control MicroMirror Arb. SP", look in the #4 case and the condition of"false. "

    The 'Sub - VI' is called 'Arb Sig read RevB', and I'm trying to pass the variable 'Data' to hand while the loop For always runs.

    Thank you!

  • Display of the name and save the value in the database for a LOV

    Hi Experts,

    JDEV 12 C,

    I have a requirement where I need to show the name of the project in the user interface and save the project in DB Id.

    I've had two articles as below: -.

    http://husaindalal.blogspot.in/2010/03/lov-displaying-name-and-storing-value.html

    https://blogs.Oracle.com/ADF/entry/combo_lov_how_to_display

    I did the procedure below.

    I have a ProjectId attribute in my VO.

    Created a transient ProjectName attribute, passivation = true editable = always.

    Created a ViewAccessor on the MainVO.

    Created a LOV on ProjectName ProjectName mapped in the configuration to the accessor of the view section with ProjectId.

    Changed the ViewRowImpl.java.

    I get the error when you run the below request form.

    public String getProjectName() {}

    Object projectId = getAttributeInternal (PROJECTID);

    String projectName = null;

    If (projectId! = null) {}

    Object [] obj = {projectId};

    Key = new Key (obj);

    Line lines [] = getProjectsVO1 () .findByKey (key, 1);

    If (rows! = null & & rows.length > 0) {}

    projectName = (String) rows [0] .getAttribute (1);

    }

    }

    back to projectName.

    }

    When AM running I get the below error.

  • Create null values in the database for interactive report link column values

    Hello

    I'm pretty new to APEX and tries to create an interactive report with the form. This report examines essentially for more information for a particular employee. If the employee has any information in the table, the report presents information with a button change beside him. If there is no record in the table for this employee, a create button appears. Now when you click create, a new creation page. This page contains the employee number as a single display field with the value from the previous page. This value is displayed in the page, but it is not in the database. Create the page has view-only number and a couple of other columns. The other columns get inserted into the table with an empty number!

    Can someone please? Looks like the page keeps the value zero for the number of the employee who came during the search of the interactive report. Hope I made myself clear, being the newbie hope I haven't used any incorrect terminology.

    Thank you!
    Robet

    Without the DB column, apex will not determine which DB column the data in this field are mapped to (it would be quite impossible to guess the destination since the name of the element column).

    If you want to assign to the previous element of the page, use the default section

    return: P1_EMP_NUM

    By default the value Type: body of the PLSQL function

    and configure the attributes of source as I said before

  • How to increase the value of the queue for a server to avoid errors

    In the RESOURCES section of a config of ubb, "MAXQUEUES 700" stand for all servers queue or queue on each server?

    Because there are a lot of "ERROR: the Message Queue blocking warned childbirth, Qaddr = 583902 ' for a server in ULOG, what should I change the value of the queue of this server to a higher value to avoid this error? Change the "MAXQUEUES? If increase the queue for a server?

    Thanks for your kindly reply.

    MAXQUEUES is used to specify the maximum number of queues - not number of messages on a queue of (each).

    To solve your problem of blocking, you might consider adding servers (to accelerate the responsetimes).
    Another option could make synchronous calls if it would make sense for some application that you design.

  • LAG function to get the value of the measurement for parent

    Hello

    I'm interested if there is no function in OLAP DML, which is similar to the function of TROLLING. LAG function returns the measured value for the previous dimension member (or a few members of the back dimension). I would like to know if this function exists which does not return a meaningless measurement for the dimension member value, but the measured value for the parent of the live dimension member.

    Thanks in advance

    Peter

    _parentrel relationship identifies the parent of each Member of the dimension of a hierarchy.

    use:
    the time - dimension
    time_parentrel - Member parent expression
    time_parentrel (time_hierlist 'CALENDAR') - expression for parent along the CALENDAR hierarchy

    Sales - measure
    Sales (Time time_parentrel) - expression returning sales for the parent of the current Member along the existing hierarchy.
    sales (time time_parentrel (time_hierlist 'EXERCISE'))-expression returning the sales for the parent of the current Member along the FISCAL hierarchy.

    You can search the user's Guide the OLAP DML for many examples of the use of the OLAP DML commands/functions/objects in expressions.
    All of these objects are automatically created/maintained while retaining the dimension from the front end (MN).

    For example:
    (11g) OLAP DML users guide notions-> about-> OLAP DML objects given OLAP DML-> objects that support the use of hierarchical Dimensions section.

  • Get the value of the element for PL/SQL procedure

    Hello, I am very new to apex development, so this is probably a simple question.

    I created a procedure that uses PL/SQL to insert rows in a table. The PL/SQL work correctly when I have to hardcode values. But when I try to get the values of the form elements, the values are not inserted into the table.

    I'm referencing the item using the syntax: nom_element.
    What is the right syntax? Is there anything else I need to do for the element or in the procedure to get the value of the element.

    INSERT INTO SOURCE_ITEM (UNIQUE_ID, ORIGIN, DESTINATION, TECHNIQUE, TEAM, SMB, WATCH_FLAG, PASS_THROUGH_FLAG, DESCRIPTION, LAST_MODIFIED_DATE)
    VALUES
    (: P34_UNIQUE_ID,: P34_ORIGIN_OF_CONTENT_2, 'AAA', 'PLATFORM', ' THE TEAM X "," EMS X ","N","N",: P34_GENERAL_DESCRIPTION, SYSDATE);

    In compiled units, you must use the function of v, for example, v ('P34_UNIQUE_ID').

  • Use the value of the inputText for CreateWithParams field

    I have an input text field that I not have related to what either.
    <af:inputText

      <NamedData NDName="PublisherName"
                 NDValue="#{bindings.it8.inputValue}" NDType="java.lang.String"/>
    </action>
    I took several assumptions that must be used to the NDValue = and none of them worked.
    The work to create very well if I hard a value in the code, but I want to retrieve the value of the id element inputText = 'it8 '.

    What should I do to get this value in the binding?

    Thank you

    Your links may not refer to the JSF components. Instead, the JSF components have lower values in links.

    Try something like:

    (a) Add following to your executable your pageDef section:

    .. .fondamentalement a variable related to the components of the ADF BC or similar.

    following b) add to your section of your pageDef links:

    .. .This allows inputText control to use the variable.

    (c) change your inputText as follows:

    <>
    label = "new editor".
    shortDesc = "create a new Publisher.
    ID = 'it8 '.
    value = "#{bindings." MyField.inputValue}">

    ... now the inputText control get to / write to the variable.

    (d) change your original linking CreateWithParams as:

    RequiresUpdateModel = "true" Action = "createWithParams" >

    NDValue = ' #{bindings. " MyField.inputValue} ' NDType="java.lang.String"/ > '.

    .. as it can also refer to the same variable.

    Unfortunately, I'm not able to test this, I hope that I haven't injected errors above.

  • Easy way to display the value of the search for value vs reference foreign key itself

    I understood how to do this for a form

    http://www.DBA-Oracle.com/HTMLDB/t_lov_list_values_master_parent_child.htm

    .. .but not for a report which lists the data line by line.

    Center table with the following columns:

    ID
    Name
    Department_id

    and service table with the following columns:

    ID
    Name

    When the report runs on the Center table, it queries simply department_id, name and the ID of the database and then displays each column as it is.

    Instead of display the Center table department_id (which is a number and not very informative), how can I do to display the name of the department table?

    I have many other similar areas that should be displayed in this way, so I hope that there is not a ton of configuration/coding I have to do.

    Hello

    Try the report query

    SELECT a.id,
      a.name,
      b.name dept_name
    FROM centre a,
      department b
    WHERE a.department_id = b.id

  • Shoot/Get/the data value of the window for user input

    I'm trying to do something that should be simple enough for a programmer, but unfortunately, unfortunately to be a designer, I'm having a devil of a time with it.  After spending hours searching and trying different things, I thought to post the problem.  I have the feeling that I'm not the first creator of evil with it.

    I'm trying to extract a window input data and to transmit it to a variable.  In the script, I do a few purge(), and I don't know if that clears the values of input from the user during the script, but it's thinking ahead...

    I need the values to:

    Layer.translate (X, Y) / / if I'm wrong, it must be not - string

    bitsaveoptions. Method = ChanelScreen; in menu drop-down

    bitsaveoptions.angle = KAngle / / if I am mistaken, this must not be one - integer

    bitsaveoptions. Frequency = ChanelFrequency; If I am mistaken, this must not be one - integer

    bitsaveoptions. Resolution = ChanelResolution; If I am mistaken, this must not be one - integer

    bitsaveoptions. Shape = BitmapHalfToneType.ROUND; in menu drop-down

    I know that there are different ways to retrieve data from a window how .value, and perhaps others, but I can't seem to extract the data from user input

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Win.Show ();

    var X = parseInt (win. Coordinates.KChanelX.te.selection);

    var Y = parseInt (win. Coordinates.KChanelY.te.selection);

    alert (X); Here I get NaN

    alert (Y); Here I get NaN

    If (typeof (X) = 'undefined' | typeof (Y) = "undefined") {}

    You don't have a selection in an edittext field. Like c.pfaffenbichler said - you get your X and your Y's

    var X = win.Coordinates.KChanelX.te.text;

    and so on:

    var X = parseInt(win.Coordinates.KChanelX.te.text); // or
    var X = Number(win.Coordinates.KChanelX.te.text);

    Have fun

  • The return value to the line for dialogue ObjectChoiceField

    Hello world

    Is it possible the value of line so that when the items in ObjectChoiceField Dialog(the one that's pops up when you click on the field) appears on multiple lines according to the width of the text?

    For now, it shows only one line per element truncate the ending text substituting... If any, it is displayed in several line wrapped Word when selected however.

    For any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated that I would need to display the full text when the user scrolls items in the context menu

    Thank you & best regards

    Maia

    This is not supported by the ObjectChoiceField.  You can create a custom field to accomplish this where you manually draw the sting using a Graphics object.
