  I need to write a scenario of variance function that is dependent on the version. I wrote successfully forecast more common to real gap like:

  [Preview]-[real]

  How I would write a forecast variance to forecast to the difference between the 2 is the version? For example:

  To be mor edynamic in the selection, you will have to do it in another dimension. This looks like a cube ASO, where I usually use a view called dimension or analytical. He then gives the option to base the selection on youre selected member. For example

  You might could have a member called actual Variance with the formula ([Actual], [end])-([scenario] .currentmember .currentmember [Version])

  This is true for different comparisons, you need additional members for example, if you want to compare different forecasts agains budget.

  IF the this way, reports would simply select the Secnario and the version that you want to compare against real /Final.

  I have a project that uses the vSphere 5.5 management SDK (I built the stub files according to the documentation) and have these in my c# Solution. Everything works beautifully. My class files that interact with vSphere all have a use statement as follows:

  All fine so far.

  Now, I want to be able to provide support for a user to connect to vSphere 5.5 and 6.0 vSphere environments. I built the stub files for vSphere Management 6.0 SDK and those in my solution presented in a separate project. Each project is based on a different class library and I have each set of files for each version of vSphere stub in different NuGet packages. However, when I select to use a vSphere 5.5 connection, it seems that internally the 6.0 files stub are used, or vice versa.

  I tried to separate things out by giving the Vim25Service.dll and Vim25Service.XmlSerializers.dll files for each version of alias names (alias by default for all assemblies is "global", but I changed it to vSphere5 and vSphere6 for each version. Then at the top of each class file before all with what I'm doing:

  extern alias vSphere5;

  or

  extern alias vSphere6

  (According to what project I'm in). Then, use the using statement for each class file that interacts with vSphere using vSphere5::Vim25Api; or using vSphere6::Vim25Api; to use the files to correct/stub namespace for each version I support.

  However this still doesn't seem to work, and things seem to be getting confused upwards somehow. I take a guess that internal files make calls and somehow have crossed.

  Is it possible to use two stub version of vSphere together different files in the same project? How should I handle my script? I thought of just upgrading to use the version of vSphere 6 (I can always connect to vCenter 5.5 using these, but some of the properties on the object have changed, (for example some dynamic properties on AlarmObjects and other items have been removed and code breaks if I delete the references to the stub vSphere 5.5 files.) So, I want to keep two different versions and use each of them separately in the same solution, so I support vSphere 5.5 and vSphere 6.

  Solved - this using wsdl.exe and just by specifying a different namespace to use in the proxy class that is generated by using the /n switch.

  for example using PowerShell to build automatically, the value $VimApi and do:

  WSDL.exe/n:$ VimApi...

  Hi, I am developing an MDX script to clear a region/slice in ASO cube data. I have to select only certain projects with a similarity in their name. I couldn't find any key word for that, so I added a UDA for these projects and to consolidate the keyword of the UDA. The script is below:
  
  change the BSC_RPT database. BSC_RPT erase data in CurrentTuple ([scenario]. [Real] [DataView]. [datasource], [years]. [FY11],
  [Version]. [Current], [account]. [Accountname], (Uda ([Project], "PLN")))
  
  This script gives me an error "syntax in"Tuple object"error. Please suggest me how to proceed with this. It would be a great help if you can help me solve this problem.

  Given that the function of the UDA may return multiple values, you cannot use a tuple for this, you would have all the members of the UDA with the tuple of other dimensions to crossjoin. You would also use the just the tuple itself currenttuple

  I see in your server.log file the following happened:

  First that you have installed LCM on server VCO.

  You have configured only the LCM database using the server gonfiguration VCO. However, you missed to configure settings of datadase "networking."

  After you run the orhestrator, installation failed with fhr after reason (seen in the log file):

  2010-02-12 09:51:51.481 - 0800 ERROR cannot install plugin 'lcm', reason: (plugin - lcm) cannot run the installation script ' scripts/installOrUpgrade.js', reason: ReferenceError: 'NetworkingDatabase' is undefined. (Name of the dynamic Script Module: execNetDatabaseUpdate #2)

  What really happened is that LCM database has already been created and that it was the version 1.1.0. So installation run in version control and upgrade failed with the affirmation of incompatible version.

  I have btinternet email for years and Thunderbird for too long and have been happy with both. I was unable to connect to one of them, but the other was very good - I have had help 'screen sharing' a technical chap BT to sort. However, he was able to Conect Thunderbird with email servers. I said to BT and the chap tech tried to sort on screen sharing, but could not (and I have been unable to follow what he was doing). A few months ago, I made a few changes, as requested by BT, to allow for the transfer to go smoothly (!), but the man has changed some things Friday, I think, as well. He could not solve the problem of TB and I can't figure it out at all, and the Lady of BT Tech help to whom I spoke this morning (and who had managed to fix my problem of connection BTID, fortunately) had a look and suggested that maybe I needed an update/new/different version TB or 'another email address. Well, I really want to stay with Thunderbird and was hoping that someone here could explain it in simple English for me, please? I was wondering what will happen, assuming that I need to download an updated version / different, if I did this and then sort of re-installed my existing BT email addresses (as if I started again with Thunderbird)? I hope that there is someone here who can help you - thank you - I'm rather fond of this little blue bird. Thank you.

  Hi, Zenos, thank you so much for your help - I have now (touch wood) have my email back after following your instructions. If all goes well, it will remain in operation during my upgrade to infinity next week.

  I have problem when I try to keep two different versions of a project in my PC. I developed a master project with a VI and severals subVIs. This project works correctly, but now I want to make some changes. Then I created another folder with a copy of this (kind of backup) program. However, when I opened the new version, there comes into conflict with the subvis two versions (old and new). And I wouldn't make some changes and modify the version of security and everytime I open a version should solve all conflicts either.

  You know any way to avoid this problem?

  Probably you have copied your project directory in Windows Explorer.

  What you need to do to create an exact copy of the project and all content, is to open the project in LabVIEW, select "file > save as...". ", select the option 'Double' and then select the option 'include all the dependencies '.

  Now you must choose a folder where you want to save your project and the name you want to give to your project file. When you click 'OK' the project will be duplicated in the requested folder.

  I try to use the Microsoft Office tool that implement an MSI for 64-bit Office 2010 installation file.  The tool works file and creates the msi file.  I get to the tool by going to the x 64-bit folder on the office 2010 installation disc.

  I install a new virtual machine from Windows 7 and tried to use the MSI file to install office 2010 and I get the error:

  "The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service because the program to be upgraded is may be missing or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program"

  If I just click Setup on the office 2010 dvd he moved very well on the same VM window7.

  Does anyone have an idea how do to understand why the windows installer keep fails or what he wants?

  If I click on the msi even on a system with office 2007 is installed, I get the same error.
