• Install a plugin, another disappears

  I recently installed CS6 on a new Win 7 64 bit machine.

  I start to install various plugins ("Topaz", Nik, etc.).

  I think it's the correct procedure, but I would like to know if it is fake: I open Photoshop, go to editing, preferences, Plugins, and then check the folder "plug-ins extra ' and select Browse.  Navigate to the main folder of the product that I'm looking for.  For example, "Topaz"...

  I use 3 plug-ins: detail, Remask, adjust.  I select the folder, click OK, close PS, then reopen it.  I open an image, then go to filter and find that all three plug-ins are there.  I opened each, make sure that they are turned on with my activation key, then close each application.

  So far so good.

  Then I went back to editing, preferences, Plugins and traveled for the next plugin folder.  In this case, it was a portrait by Imagenomic.  I select the folder, click OK, close PS, re - open, and when I look for this plugin under filter, I see.  But now, one of the plug-ins "Topaz" disappeared.  He always seems to be the Topaz Adjust.  If I navigate back to it, again the PS plug-in, then the plug-in from Imagenomic disappears as soon as I open the Psalm

  In each case, I just highlight the main folder ("Topaz", or Imagenomic), not the Topaz Adjust folder (although I tried this and it made no difference).

  You use the plugin installation programs to install plugins in photoshop cs6.

  You may need to check with the manufacturer of plugin for photoshop cs6 updates.

  on my new laptop, I have not run anything associated with Mozilla as I much prefer other browsers (IE Chrome). But I get plugincontainer.exe or .bak. or the names of .upd trying to access the net.
  Every response I find if I do a search returns to deal with firefox or similar product of mozilla and I looked everywhere and there is none on my pc. When I opened the location of the plugincontainer it goes to ProgramData to a folder that contains
  plugincontainer folder of file that contains nothing, the folder of Plugins that contains 4 records of files that contain various plugin applications

  Hello sakara, plugin - container.exe (with a hyphen!) is a file that comes with mozilla firefox. You can also review the file with right click > properties > signatures. If it is signed by the mozilla corporation, it will be authentic.

  I have no themes that could be the cause. Literally no. I only use firefox for things that can no longer be opened in the opera, so I did not need any theme default beyond. Addons only I installed on purpose were adblockers (God knows why. they don't DO nothing.) Although several other things randomly appear to have been installed over time with the help of one thing or another. Various plugins and players and versions of java, that sort of thing. But I have everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) in the menu of the disabled addon.
  I tried to boot in SafeMode (the program, no windows) and the problem is still there except that now it will appear not the menu bar at all unless I press the first ALT and even in this case, it won't let me actually click on anything in the menu bar. When I try the entire bar disappears. I had to close firefox with the Task Manager.
  Restart will fix the problem for about 15 seconds before it comes back.
  Any attempt to update do not have as it says I am already up to date on everything so I don't know what his issue is.

  It is not an urgent issue now because most of what I need to happen on the screen window that I use, but some of my sites have buttons that literally disappear into something else than to full screen and I guess it will be a much larger gene in the coming days.

  I saw a question or two about this new feature here already, and it is obvious that the developers of FireFox are not really interested in what their users think of this feature.

  The function I want to talk about is the new search bar in the new tab.

  I tried a fix mentioned in a previous post (create a subdirectory "Chrome" and create a CSS file that contains commands to specific style) and it did not work. I tried a few other corrections mentioned on other websites as well, does not.

  Knowing that FireFox would add something like this without allowing an option to disable it is pretty discouraging. I've been enjoying my daily use of FireFox on other browsers that I had used in the past because they were crowded and unclean, and FireFox was not at the time. This search bar ruined who. My pinned tabs were crushed about half of their original size, and the search bar is unsightly, at best.

  Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't we already have a search at the top of the screen bar? I don't see any purpose in this area, except in the gene users. If there is another use, please inform me (although to be completely honest, it will not change my opinion here, although it can mitigate the damage)

  Still, there have been very few features in FireFox that I was unhappy, and each of them was immediately followed by an add-on to turn them off (or they came with an option to disable their release)

  I'm not here asking for help on how to remove the search bar, I plead here for a link that I can use to communicate directly to the developers of FireFox to my opinions about this update.

  My guess is that by Firefox 34 or 35, the search bar in the Navigation toolbar won't go away. But before that, some kind of 'widget' should be added to allow the user to choose between their search engine installed various plugins.

  After all, how many places should a user have a 'search bar '?
  Why waste space on the navigation bar when the user can 'search' in the address bar and the subject: House and about: newtab pages.

• Solution: The videos Flash does not not - Win7 w/Comodo Firewall

  On a new machine, I have added my desired desired programs. These include Comodo Firewall and Firefox with various plugins and addons (including Adobe Flash Player NoScript, FlashBlock, AdBlock Plus).

  I soon discovered that the videos would not play (initially I could see some videos using HTML5, but after some adjustments, they were gone too). I tried MANY suggestions and settings are on various boards of Directors, nothing worked.

  I should have learned long ago that I need to document all THE CHANGES, I have in my system - but old habits have life tough. I tried many things, with no written notes. I didn't know what problem prevented the Firefox to play videos. Nothing I've tried has worked. After unsuccessfully, I have reset Firefox (sad to see my custom settings go). When I restarted Firefox with only the plugin Flash Player active, I could not yet play videos.

  More follow-up research. Finally, I came across the solution on the Comodo site:

  There, I learned that Comodo Defense + had blocked the Container Plugin Firefox (and Crash Reporter) to run.

  I used the following steps to resolve the problem on my system (w/Comodo Firewall 7.0.317799.4142):

     1) Open Comodo Firewall (right-click the Comodo tray icon and select Open)
  

     2) Select Tasks -> Sandbox Tasks -> Open Advanced Settings
  

     3) In the "Advanced Settings" Window, select Defense+ -> HIPS -> Hips Rules
  

     4) Find the entry for Firefox.exe. Right-Click it and Select Edit.
  

     5) In the Comodo HIPS Rule for Firefox.exe window, select the "Access Rights" tab. Locate the "Run an executable" option. Click the modify link under the "Exclusions" column.
  

     6) In the "Run an Executable" window, select the "Blocked Files/Folder" tab.  Select the plugincontainer.exe entry and right-click -> remove to delete it. Do the same for the crashreporter.exe entry.
  

     7) Click "OK" on each of the Comodo Firewall widows to save the changes and close the window.
  

  After doing this, videos might play. My next task will be to reinstall my favorite extensions and see if I can get Firefox works as I liked it on my old PC.

  Restore the default computer, update everything (including drivers for hardware devices), and then restore your backup stuff.  Install only the applications you need.

  Or you can try this first...

  Check your time zone and time - make sure they are well positioned.

  Uninstall all Apple software (iTunes, QuickTime, Apple Updaters and all kinds of other things from Apple) and restart.

  Uninstall all products FREE adobe (Reader, Shockwave, Flash Player, Air, etc.) and reboot.

  Uninstall Microsoft SilverLight.

  Uninstall other various plugins (like RealPlayer, any "toolbars" like Yahoo, Google, etc) and reboot.

  Then go through the list:

  Search for malware:

  Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

  • MalwareBytes (FREE)
  • SuperAntiSpyware (FREE)

  Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

  Search online with eSet Online Scanner. Remove any found object.

  Reset.

  Use this FixIt:
  How to get the latest version of the Windows Update Agent

  Reset.

  Save components WU:

  1. Start an elevated command prompt.
  2. Run the following commands pressing on enter after each line:

If it fails again, before coming back to say that, try this fixit and a reboot and attempt to update once again:

Try to install updates again.

(You can have it fixed things after previous attempts haven't has enough so that it works.)

-Install the latest versions of things that you have uninstalled before going through the cleaning.  Download the new versions of their respective web pages.

• Unable to play videos on my computer, windows flash 10 guard crashing.

  I have already presented a post once before and received no help whatever it is, so I'll try one last time.  My computer, I cannot play videos at all.  Not only in browsers (and I've tried three now: Firefox, Chrome and Edge.) but also those personal I saved on my hard drive. In addition, that this problem has got worse, I found Itunes crashing more often.  I can't prove a link, but I tend to believe is there. I used to be able to play youtube at least, but now I can't do it.  This problem has been gradually getting worse and I'm really getting tired on this subject.  I can't use my computer for the things I need to be able to do because of this problem, and I feel as if no one has tried to repair.

  My initial dose that he had to do a system restore and it worked for a while, but now my system breaks down right after again.  I can't downgrade to windows 8.1 because I went months downgrade option.  I've been seriously restore my computer to factory settings, but I don't know that it'll fix my problem and it's a lot of hassle to go through a solution that may not even work.  I tried deactivating/activating various plugins in browsers and I turned off hardware acceleration, and I've sent too many incident reports to Firefox.

  I'm running a Lenovo Yoga, on 64-bit, Flash 19.0.0.185, currently Firefox 41. If you need more information, please let me know.  I really want to get this resolved so that I can do what I need to.

• Problem working with tiff from Lightroom CC upgrade files

  Since upgrading to LR CC when I make changes using another editor/plugin called since lightroom .tiff files when the file is saved in LR content is not updated for when the item is exported in the plugin or PS CC. When LR is stopped and restarted the previous content changes become visible. It is very frustrating having to close and restart LR everytime I want to create an image of BW in PS since a .tiff or use DxO filmpack plugin. Note that this was not a problem in LR 5.

  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling various plugins and LR in a combinations. This does not solve the problem.

  I'm running Win 10, 64-bit LRCC 6.1.1 PSCC and all versions are the latest releases

  After that a long lock of study and research I found the real solution to this problem. In the catalog settings, there is an option to automatically write changes into xmp files. If this box is that the changes are not captured by LR until the reboot. I noticed there was an occasional message on execution do not write the xmp file and it would complement the next time that LR has been restarted.

  Uncheck this option allows to change it be picked up immediately. Hope this helps someone else with similar problems.

  It is really just a FYI forum post, in the hope that the error messages I received can help users of plugin from Adobe or Jeffrey Friedl; its export-to-flickr plugin has been much more reliable than the default of Macromedia, but it still gets errors sometimes - I attribute this especially on Flickr when it happens, but some of the error messages that I can't decipher, and devs can learn more.

  Last week, in a single session of Lightroom, within two hours, the plugin has failed several times to download over and over again, and the following errors have been systematically posted:

  

  

  (it was weird, because all images are imported at the same time, but 4 of them were given the status read-only; I attribute this to Lightroom).

  I get similar messages. Sometimes to download 100 images, I have to restart the download 10 times. Sometimes I can't download a special Collection to publish Smart for a month, it will not just download and then as if by magic, the next time it downloads.

  Jeffrey told me by e-mail that his plugin simply reports messages from Flickr, so all the problems are problems caused by Flickr.

  I think part of the problem is the parent company of that than yahoo Flickr! is in trouble, and the money and resources to maintain and improve the Flickr just isn't what it should be.

       The interface of import certificate is extracted from NSS, and I test it ok.

       When i use the plugin in firefox browser it will crashe at function SEC_PKCS12DecoderUpdate.
  
       I debug it, the debug information is plugin-container.exe has triggered a breakpoint.
       And pop-up a Runtime Error window:
           Program: C:\program files\mozilla firefox\plugin-container.exe
           this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

  Recently, I noticed I have a few plugins installed in my Firefox I didn't even know I had. I remember accepting MS Silverlight and Adobe Flash, but I do not always say Yes at the update of Google and the two versions plugins Ubisofts Uplay. One that I now have disableled and made me write this complaint. I guess that these got plugins installed in Firefox when I installed the related programs. I don't want to risk plugins activate again when updates to firefox, or I have reinstall. When your support suggestion will have to manually change the registry then it is clearly not good enough.

  After a recent automatic upgrade of Firefox on my Xubuntu 11.04 system, the SUN's Java plugin is no longer recognized by Firefox. I tried the old method of manually symbolic the corresponding library to usr and various other directories containing plugins, but nothing helps. Other plugins like Flash work very well.
