  Hello
  I want to share a monitor and an external keyboard with Tecra A8 and a desktop computer. To do this, I bought a switch 2-port Linksys where I plugged the external monitor and a keyboard. With the monitor without problem because there is a specific port for this. However my Tecra has only 3 USB ports and a serial port 6-pin where I connected (with a 6-pin Mini DIN adapter) on the keyboard. When I turn on the screen it's ok, but the keyboard (I also tried a mouse) does not work. Do I need a specific configuration on the serial port to accept the external keyboard? If so, what commands do I need on the XP operating system?

  RGB (monitor) port used to connect the external monitor.
  If you want to connect the external keyboard, you have to use the USB ports.
  Additional legacy USB emulation must be enabled for the keyboard.
  These settings you can change in the Toshiba HWSetup under control panel.

  If you connect multiple devices to the switch USB (hub) Please be sure that the USB hub using external power.
  A low power USB could be a reason for the external USB device failure.

  Hi, I have 50 flat files and each of them have some columns (fields) common and I need to load only the fields that are common to an external Table. Is any chance to do it with education unique external table. Or I need to load all flat_files at separate tables and then with the ETG and UNION load them only one table.

  If the page size for all the files are different, I think that your only option would be to define different external tables and create a view that joins all the.

  Oops - that's a critical piece of information missing there, whether you use a x 64 system.  You will need the x 64 version of the driver, which I have never found.

  Edit - I don't know how I missed this one, it is and should install on your x 64 system.  Download the driver here. Drivers installed properly on my Windows 7 x 64 system.

  I also wanted driver for my designjet 450 c. I'm using win7 x 64.

  It seems that driver (hpdj430x64glen) prints in grayscale only photos.

  How I change it in support of all colors. It is not the opportunity to anywhere on the parameters.

• How to convert Integer to ASCII with only the necessary components?

  So the question I have is that converting an integer to a string using type cast. It gives me the string as ASCII, but unfortunately the cast type function keeps all unused space resulting in extra characters in my channel. I tried to change the entire representation to byte, but I quickly realized that I wouldn't be able to have multiple characters. I need a way to remove the extra characters, but if the integer is high enough to do another. It's like this byte array:

  0 0 0 24 0 6 127 254

  Think of it as a basic 256 system I want to convert to count. I don't want all those zeros, just as I would not as for example the 00000433 in base 10, but I want to have the possibility to go for example in 1433 when the integer is quite high.

  I will neglect the negative values for the moment.

  Just to clarify, is your user (User1) in the RPD is grouped under administrator?

  If the user is grouped under administrator, then we can follow a simple step in BI front end for the user to access all objects in front end.

  In the BI dashboard, click on settings you can find to manage users and groups presentation catalog. Here, we can add User1 to the presentation server administrator group.

  Make sure that your administrator user is set with all the necessary privileges to access answers, dashboard etc.

  What can be done if anything.

  I find conflicting information via web search to be able to use my iMac 27 inches, mid-2011 as an external monitor with a PC. Is it possible to use the iMac as an external display via the Display Mode target between Thunderbolt port of the iMac with a PC equipped with a mini DisplayPort?

• Portege M200 with external monitor - what is the best resolution?

  As a result of a recent post on using an external monitor with the M400, I have a question on the use of one with the M200. I realize that the M200 uses the graphics card Nvidia rather than the graphics card Intel in the M400 - is it better with regard to the use of an external display is concerned? The M200 manual says that it will support up to 1600 x 1536 resolution on an external display. I want to use my M200 in a docking station with an external monitor to the extended desktop.

  What would be the best resolution to go with externally? Should I go for 1400 x 1050 screen LCD M200 match? Or could I go for a 1600 x 1200, that should the graphics card (!) be able to cope? Or, finally, if I went to a widescreen 1680 x 1050, how would the face Nvidia card? The screen is not as clear as with the 1600 x 1050 screen?

  What are the chances of work at all? I see in the M400 manual which she is supposed to support 2048 x 1536 on an external monitor, but this seems to be a problem, judging from the other post.

  Well, the resolution of the screen depends primarily on the graphics card.
  If you want to use a display resolution that the graphics card must support. In addition, the graphics card driver is important. If the graphics card will support the resolution of the screen, BUT the resolution is not listed in the graphics driver, so you will not be able to choose this value.
