  Hi, I had the PCC 510 today-, so am really happy. I was a VCP 3, have so 'Fried rabbit' VCP 4 delay walking (phew!).

  There is no release date yet announced or any of VCAP5 examinations, I recommend you download plans for VCAP4 exams and start to prepare using those.

  I took lessons for 4 VCP (VMware vSphere: install, configure, and manage) this year, 11 July and currently preparing the review of the secure Channel. I'm confused if I am eligible to 510 PCC or should I give VCP 410 first? Looked VCP 510 requirements review and his confusion... Please help!

  VSphere CIM class does not qualify you tp become a VCP5 - if this is your goal take the VCP-410 exam - when you spend it you will become a VCP4 how if you take and pass the exam VCP 510 before February 29, 2012 you'd be a VCP5 with no other class rules - after February 29 you need to take the vSphere 5 this is the new class-

• Problems of intermittent wifi with E1 - 510 laptop when power not plugged

  I have the Acer E1-510-4413 model with windows 8.1. 64 bit OS

  When the power cord is connected to the laptop, it works like a charm...

  But when I unplug the power cord, I find that the wifi connection will constantly lose connection to ANY wifi modem that it was connected to little matter if the wifi has been opened or WPA encrypted.

  Very frustrating to say the least when I need Traoré to the power cord on a just full battery charge so that I can have internet connectivity.

  I checked the acer web site and there is no wifi drivers updated so I am at a loss why this is happening.  It always happened ever since I boughtthe portable...

  I found the problem myself...

  Basically, drivers wifi which come pre-installed with windows 8 work very well... but I bought the laptop at the time of version 8.1, and I did the update to 8.0 to 8.1 windows according to needs on my first night to have the brand new laptop.  Tonight, I noticed that the version of the drivers I have for my wifi were slightly older than what is displayed on the download page of the Acer driver for my model.

  So, once I have uninstalled the drivers wifi existing, rebooted, then installed the new drivers and rebooted a second time, my wifi connection was solid...

  not sure why the existing drivers do not work correctly with 8.1, but fortunately the updated drivers are on the Acer download page.

• BlackBerry Pearl 8100 with Plantronics 510 headset Pairing disorder Smartphones

  Help!  I have a set of hands free plantronics 510 and Pearl 8100.  When you are looking for a device with the blackberry, he does not pick up the headset.  Ive tried to turn on the headset during his research while being right on.

  Hi Shirlzz,

  There are a few things that can prevent the matching with the blackberry handsfree:

  1. Peripheral Bluetooth not turned in "pairing mode" before attempting to connect to the blackberry. To put the Plantronics 510 into pairing mode, simultaneously maintain "call control" and buttons at the same time. Please see the user's guide for more detailed instructions. Once in pairing mode, try to add the headset via the blackberry.
  2. COMPUTING policy. If you use blackberry on a Blackberry Enterprise Server, make sure that the policy that has been defined by the administrator of BES to the bluetooth connectivity.
  3. The blackberry could be linked to another handset/headset or PC. You must remove the connection to one of these devices before plugging the Plantronics headset.
  4. Camera malfunction? Try to disable bluetooth, then do a hard reset on the blackberry (leave the device on, remove the battery and reinsert the battery)

  I have an Office Jet 4500 510 g and I was wondering if theres any way to set it up on my network home so I can treat it as a wireless printer.  Is there a way for me to plug a usb cable directly into my router or would it ot need to be connected to your desktop on my home network?

  I erased VCP 510 Exam on December 25, 2012. I received an email from VM Ware on 28 saying:

  Your transcripts online will reflect your VMware Certified Professional on vSphere 5 status as soon as you:
  -Confirm your delivery address
  -Consent to the release of transcript
  -Accept the agreement of VMware Certification

  I have confirmed all the details on the same day, but always after 5 days, there is no update in my transcript online (screenshot attached).

  Is it possible that I can get the electronic certificate or something else as evidence of review of compensation. Because the paper will have at least 6 weeks to reach and I need proof of the Charges before that.

  There is no electronic certificate, you will need to wait as your transcript to be updated.

  Email [email protected] if you need team - one that needs to know that you are a VCP (employer, partner) can also contact the team to get confirmation.

  I finally made the commitment to continue my VCAP5 certification - DCA (VDCA510) . I am certified in my PCC 510 since 2011, but were lazy in going to the VCAP. But the time has come and I am committed. I'm also afraid that once VMware version version 6.0 all CERT change shortly after.
  

  I wanted to ask if anyone knew of any given exam count as each life-saving aid.

  Hello

  I have booekd the VCAP-DCA5 & reviews VCAP-DCD5 with the intention of going to the VCDX after, but I was wondering if anyone knows if they bring a new vSphere this year that would make these redundant reviews?

  I would not that to study and sit both of foregoing to then go resit the next version of it to be able to do the VCDX.

  Any ideas? Or simply sit them and then go straight on the preparation of the VCDX?

  Welcome to the community - because VCDX is your ultimate goal, I would continue to pursue the current versions of these exams and the VCDX for two reasons: upgrades to the offbeat VCDX the relaese software by more than one year and the VCAP exams - the other reason is that currently to upgrade a VCDX all you need to do is pass the DCD examfor this version or tract.

  1] I now a vcp 410

  [2] I guess that in one year, vmware will return with the PCC 510

  [3] it is a similar situation, passing VCP 310 at vcp 410

  [4] using the previous example. Inorder to go to SC 510, would a person must follow additional courses or can provide directly to examination of the update?

• Bug in viPrintf

  I think I may have found a bug in viPrintf (NI-VISA 15.5.0, Windows 7) which presents during the use of the format specifier '%s' and a very large string argument.

  I wrote a program to reproduce the bug that sends ' * CLS; * ESE 1; * SRE 32\n"an instrument to configure it to generate service demand, when all operations, followed in a separate transaction by the" * OPC ' command.  Since no order superimposed is underway, the instrument should immediately generate a service request (and it does).

  Then I started adding the characters space before the ' * OPC "command to see what is happening.  With running NI Trace of IO, I see a very odd behavior when the command length exceeds the limit of 510/511-byte.  If I viPrintf a 510 byte command, the VISA library is a set viWrite in shape with a payload 510 bytes, as expected.  If I viPrintf a 511 byte command, the library done VISA a put viWrite in shape with a payload of 1021 bytes, and I have no idea whence the others these 510 bytes.  I checked that the argument string passed to viPrintf is completed successfully by a character zero.

  I enclose the source code, I used to reproduce the bug.  It compiles in a Windows console application, which takes an argument of command line (optional): an integer specifying the length of white space padded "* OPC ' command.  I also join with capture OR Trace of IO, the first run of the program with the 510, the second with 511 argument.  In the first case, the viWrite formatted correctly written 510 bytes in the instrument, in the second case, she writes 1021.

  I use a USBTMC instrument for which I develop firmware and checking that transfer bulk-out depending on device corresponds to the size reported by NI Trace of IO.

  can someone confirm if Ideapad Y470 support SATA III drives on a 400 to 500 MB/s speed?

  If I buy Y470 I want to replace the main with Intel 510 SSD HARD disk that supports SATA III interface.

  Intel says that the HM65 chipset supports SATA III, but find no confirmation in laptop specs.
