vCenter 6.0 build wrong version.

I recently upgraded to 5.5 to 6.0U1 and also two fact installs 6.0U1 fees. I used the following media of vmware-

VMware-VCSA-all - 6.0.0 - 3040890.iso

SHA hash - 02fae9b2c18eb2127ca9ccc2f8b44d5e715e0834

All 4 of the vcenters appear as version 3018523 instead of 3040890. Scanner Nessus, who has a vmware plugin says I must upgrade to the latest version of 3040890 because of vulnerabilities. But how is it possible that I used the correct version of the media downloaded from vmware with the hash SHA correct but the version extracted by VI and web client are different?

Hello

your build number is correct:

vCenter Server Appliance 6.0 U1 2015 09-10 3018523 3040890

Tire of VMware KB: product VMware correlating build numbers to update level

The version number in the program itself does not match the build number, the installer will show you:

Versionshinweise zu VMware vCenter Server 6.0 Update 1

Build number of ISO 3040890

vCenter Build of Windows 6.0 U1 3018524

vCenter 6.0 U1 Unit Build 3018523
